😠 I spoke to receptionist that is on the automated system when you first call. She is extremely rude. I called to book an appointment and she decided to tell me “I call here a lot”. I find that extremely unprofessional and no need to tell me that. I even asked why she felt the need to tell me I call... I spoke to receptionist that is on the automated system when you first call. She is extremely rude. I called to book an appointment and she decided to tell me “I call here a lot”. I find that extremely unprofessional and no need to tell me that. I even asked why she felt the need to tell me I call a lot. She said “im just saying you call a lot”. Last time i called was over a month ago. I was calling in because the issue I was having was still happening. When you first call it says there’s a 0 tolerance for any profanity or aggression towards any staff members. Maybe if you don’t talk to people like that won’t get treated that way. I canceled my appointment and went to a walk in clinic where I was treated like a normal person and wasn’t judged for calling in a lot. I’ve never had an issue with any staff there before today, I’ve always been polite when dealing with the staff there, even today when I called for the appointment. If you’re having a bad day take a day off don’t be miserable with people that are calling in for help.

I would rate this higher as my family doctor (Dr. Morin) is great! I have no complaints about him what so ever. However, I had a bad experience with one of the nurses recently. She treated me like I was beneath her, and spoke to me like I was a child (I am a 24 year old woman). I am also apart of the health care business, and I have never been treated this way by a health professional in my life. I needed some guidance with some blood work and immunization forms as I had never done that before, she gave me a hard time and told me she “will not spoon feed me” throughout the process. There was absolutely no reason for her to treat me this way as I was nice/friendly and did not give an attitude what so ever. If you are unhappy with your job, maybe it’s time to find a new one. That is no way to treat someone and it is completely unacceptable.

The receptionists are some of the most miserable people on the planet. Always rude, never near the phone and nosey af. Dr. Brar took over for my previous doctor after he passed (rip) and she is dismissive and rude as well. Doesn't seem to take patient concerns seriously. For sure looking for a new doctor's office. They should be ashamed of themselves for being so dismissive and not allowing patients in the building. Mandates ended forever ago, they need to learn it's their literal JOB to see patients in person. Not everyone can be diagnosed over the phone.

Since the retirement of my old gp & a new one being in place, I have received the most thorough and compassionate care. I am SO grateful to Dr.Russell, who is the only doctor who has taken the time to actually listen to all of my symptoms & get me help. He never cuts me off & lets me finish explaining my situation and how I'm feeling before offering solutions or tests. I've had doctors straight up tell me that I'm not feeling the things I do, and that has caused a lot of fear and anxiety with medical professionals for me. I admit, I am still anxious when walking into the offices, that someone will undermine my experience and pain, but once we are discussing the situation the anxiety seems to relax a little. I've been in and out of Doctors offices for years (15+) trying to get answers, trying to get someone to listen and was always told it was just anxiety (and as a child I was told it was growing pain). I've had medication after medication tossed at me, but no-one took the time to get to the root of things, until Dr.Russell. Thank you Dr. Russell.

Honestly - if you can find another clinic, find it. Just today I have called 20 times to book an appointment only to listen to their repetitive "thank you for calling Niagara Medical Clinic" hit zero for reception, and go back and listen to the message all over again. I don't get it.

Absolutely ridiculous. I get that after COVID, people have been extremely rude and impatient towards any worker or receptionists everywhere, but these receptionists are absolutely brutal, impatient and rude, even to those who are being nice. I am a very patient person, I speak clearly and I am a people pleaser so I never say anything cruel to them. They do not own up to their mistakes (I booked a PHONE appointment 2 months ago and they marked it as I was coming in person) and that appointment has now been rescheduled 3+ times. I am so sick of this place and refuse to go back. It really isn't their loss because they will constantly have people making appointments as doctors are so hard to find nowadays, BUT taking advantage of a walk-in clinic and waiting a couple of hours over a couple of MONTHS is well worth my time rather than wasting it with this office. Something needs to change here.

Our family (both my husband and I and our 3 children) has been with Dr. Erik Zufelt for 9 years now and we can’t say enough good things about him. He is an incredible doctor, educated, compassionate, and really listens to us and our concerns. He goes the extra mile for his patients and we will be forever grateful for him.

Have been trying to get through to the clinics receptionist. Telephone rings and automated message picks up. Hit the extension you’re trying to call and continues to repeat the same automated message, even when the office is open. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional when you are trying to get in contact with your health care provider. This is the only clinic where I face such difficulties trying to contact a receptionist.

Been a patient of Dr. Morins since childhood and now he looks over my children as well. He’s seen the good and the bad of my 29 year life and is always willing to listen to my concerns without judgment. He’s always been correct in his diagnosis’ and providing the proper referrals. He’s very informative, respectful and to the point. Couldn’t ask for a better family physician. The receptionists are always pleasant to deal with and very accommodating.

Dr Brar was given to my family after my dr passed away. She is very rude and put aside my childs mental health like it was nothing but a stomach ache. I had to call back and speak with a nurse practitioner who was amazing(mary ellen) We will be finding a new family doctor immediately. I would NEVER recommend

One year I waited to be a patient with 3 children. I was going to be 15mins late for our 1hr appointment and Dr.Guise refused to accommodate, refused to see us ans left us without a doctor. All because I would be 15mins late with my 3 small children. This practice is cold, uncaring and I am shocked 15mins late and over a year waiting they could do this.

Applied to this clinic, waiting for over a year to find out apparently they lost my application. Was told to fill a new one out and return it. I contacted the woman twice regarding my new application was told it would not be long at all to get an appointment, that was 5 months ago! Absolutely Horrible! Right Out lying to people. I wouldn’t go here now even if I was accepted. Was denied once by another doctor due to mental health issues and now this run around!

Mary Ellen was my nurse today as I was looking for a requisition for blood work, she was so friendly and not only believed my concerns, but validated me and made me feel so comfortable. An amazing experience!

Horrible, always have to call multiple times over a few hours to actually get a receptionist. Have to wait over a month for first available appointment with your family doctor. Walk-in clinic is only same day appointments so very hard to get one as well as you have to try to start calling as soon as they open. Just poorly run in general. Staff (everyone there drs/nurses etc.) are rude and clearly uncaring or are just burnt out after Covid. As many others have stated I’m a polite person as I’m an admin in the medical field myself and have never talked to patients the way I’ve been spoken too, especially for a young person with chronic health issues.

😠 This clinic is unfriendly and a complete waste of time. They make you feel like they don't care about you at all. My daughter was told she wasn't allowed to be in the clinic due to having a fever and ear pain. So a doctor would phone her. RIDICULOUS!! Because it's so easy to look in ears over the ph...
