The first impression is that it is full of locals enjoying their lunch. You would hope that if they are willing to spend a bit more it is because they know something us tourists don’t , and they do. The service is excellent. They make their own olive oil and vinegar and they have some house wine. Get a bottle they have no markup! It’s a conveniently located place if you want to have authentic local food at a good price with a staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel at home.

We had the most awful experice in this wine bar. We ordered 2 glasses of wine and as I know this particular wine/producer I thought immediately that there can be something wrong with the wine. I also realised that the wine was so cold that I could not say for sure. We waited but we did not drink it. As the wine was getting a bit warmer I was sure it is either ruined or not the same wine. We asked the waiter because I wanted to know if it is a different vintage that I have not tasted before. She was very rude right in the beginning. She brought us an empty bottle saying we had that and there is no way it could be ruined. I kindly asked if she tasted it but she sais none of the customers complained and then she left. Then there came this even more arrogant man and my friend explained to him the same - and he threw us out. He took the wine glasses and said aurevoir! Yes he kicked us out. Other customers around us were also very surprised that what has happened! I also have an education on wine and it’s my passion for over 20 years. It looked to me they want to sell bulk to tourists and when asked they really don’t know about their wines. They don’t even taste them, it’s the customer who does and how many customers realise there is something wrong? Otherwise I don’t understand why they did not taste it? Anyway they were really arrogant and shouting to us even we were just kindly asking about the wine.

My 5th visit ti Nice, this place became a habit. I love to sit there and watching the people. At lunch to have small portions. Always find a nice bottle to buy home.

With 35 wines by the glass available, and advice provided by knowledgeable staff, you’ll find a glass to enjoy here. Order a small plate or one of the daily plates to go with. And you can buy a bottle to take home too. Nice people watching location in Vieux Nice.

Marie runs such a quality operation. Speak to her about the local grapes and the wines from Corsica. Don’t miss out on this generational, woman-owned gem. Not to mention their adorable, chill cat who will sit at your table with you if you offer it enough rubs.

Great place for an early evening glass of wine. We stopped by a few times during our visit for a glass or two of rosé before dinner. They also offer a limited menu of freshly made dishes which were very good. It’s family run and very welcoming. Definitely worth a visit when in Nice!

Very cosy place with outside seating as well. Really friendly staff who helped as with our wines when we were clueless. Very reasonable price too. Check this place out if your around the old town and you fancy some wine.

Limited selection by the Glass. But if you buy any bottle in the shop., you can enjoy it at the winebar. Curious info, the owner is a absolutely F1 fan.....

Wonderful local wine bar in the old town that serves a large range of delicious wines. We both had a local wine which also arrived with a dish of bread and olives which was a lovely touch. The staff also speak very good english, and were very helpful in recommending a good wine.

For tasting local wine and wine from further afield, this is the best place that we found in Nice. We only had wine, so can't rate the food😁

Based on the photos this looks like a place for a meal, not so! Wine and a few appetizers only. Wine is good but don’t expect much more.
