More often when I request Uber, they keep sending me drivers who cancel again and again. Not serious at all especially when you have an important appointment and you should get there as soon as possible but Uber doesn’t mind to keep you waiting for over 30 minutes. The app shows that the driver is coming in 3-5 minutes the thing that makes me decide to wait; but then it changes to 7 minutes and so I wait hoping that things will get better. The driver on the map finally moves because they were completing another trip and when it’s time to get closer they change directions and they keep doing so as if their goal is to drive everywhere around me but not where I really am. I’m so focused on their move that I can’t take a decision whether to cancel or to wait. 15 minutes later, I convince myself that after all the waiting, my patience will pay and so I mustn’t cancel. Few more minutes pass, I receive a notification informing me that the driver has cancelled and that another one is on the way. By then it is too late to think of another solution; so I keep waiting for the new designated driver. This one however and in spite of the 8 minutes mentioned on the app, doesn’t bother to move and their car never moves from the initial spot. When I call the driver, he doesn’t answer the first time, starting to get upset I insist calling, a man finally answers the phone to ask me in turn to cancel because he doesn’t want to cancel himself. When I refused, he then canceled the trip. Uber is now finding me another driver, but it’s already too late for my appointment. I call off my appointment and then I cancel Uber to finally see that they are charging me a cancellation fee. I was so disgusted that I wanted to delete the app on the spot. However, I’m the kind of person who keeps giving chances again and again until I make up my mind definitively and consequently I will ask the whole family as well as all my friends, whom I have convinced to join Uber, to do the opposite. What a shame especially that Uber started well. The two stars in this review is to thank the few drivers with whom I have enjoyed the rides throughout all the years with Uber.

Came here to pick up an item I left on an Uber. I was told that the office will be opened at 9:15am. When I got there at 9:30am, it was closed. There was a notice stating that the office will open at 1pm instead. Came back at 1pm, and I asked the security guy if he speaks English (I tried to be polite). However, the security was very rude, and he said “Non!” Then ignored me. Once again, I explained to him that I am not an Uber driver by saying “je ne suis uber chauffeuse,” and showed him my phone with an lost item tracking number. He then let me walk inside the office. The receptionist lady was very nice and she tried to speak to me in English. She was able to bring me the item I left on the Uber. Salute to this lady! The star is for her.
