Stadthalle Nieheim

Festival hall

👍👍 Formerly known as the guest hall, it was used as a short-term reception camp and accommodation for emigrants between 1989 and 1991. Concerts, school performances, fetes and parties are still organized and held here.

DJs are really bad, I haven't seen anything like that in a long time. Service was overwhelmed. Mega long queues at the women's toilets, waiting time at least 30 minutes 🙄. I don't have to go there again, I know an 80s or 90s party completely differently. If you let 1500 guests in, you should be prepared 🧐

The beer garden is well suited for smaller concerts etc. The town hall itself is nothing special.

It’s not clear to me what kind of room it is 🤷🏼‍♀️ and what’s going on there

We sat in the small hall, where you're not really there and in the evening the dance music was very loud, you couldn't understand what you were saying

😐 There were terribly uncomfortable wooden chairs, an imposition when you have to sit on them for three and a half hours. The piece by the amateur theater group, however, was very entertaining. I'll be there again next time with different seating.
