It’s a beautiful restaurant and for the price of the meal, you get a good quantity too. It’s a really big dining space, love the view of the ocean too. The food was pretty okay, not so extraordinary however plus they weren’t so generous with the proteins in the sauce like you’d expect. You’re helped with everything including serving your food into the saucer. The bathroom is a clean area too especially for pictures. I definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

First time having a Chinese meal and I was stunned. Loved it, tasted really really good. The platter was more than I expected, it was packed to take home. Service was exceptional and prompt Ambiance was cozy too Perfect fit for a birthday/couple or family dinner. I’ll rate 9/10.

ChaiTang is really beautiful and the food was good too! Went in the company of 3 of my favorite people..lol … It’s best to make a reservation cos they don’t like it when the place is overwhelmed (so you can get value for your money I guess) which is very nice… The waitress was very nice and helpful..helped us settle in quickly when we weren’t sure of where to sit also helped with picking what to order. We had Long Island,martini,mango daiquiri,Mojito and Chapman (Drinks) AND prawns in schezuan chili sauce,Chicken in schezuan chili sauce,Vermicelli / Singapore noodles ,Pineapple friedrice and deep fried chicken wings. They all tasted so goood. The drinks took a little longer than the average time cocktails should take .. The food too but everything came at the same time… Also, a bowl of everything we ordered was enough to feeed all of us and we didn’t couldn’t even finish them. I’ll post pictures so you can see… Thank God the waitress filled us in on that(we were going to buy separate meals..lol) Overall ,dining experience was good . I’ll recommend. I added the bill so you can have an idea of the prices and names of what we ordered.

Would totally recommend for quiet dinners and solo/romantic dates. It was relaxing and everything we ordered tasted really nice. The "dough" of the dumplings were too thick and the filling was on the small side. Aside, wonderful experience overall. Average spend for a group of 2: 30k.

The restaurant is located in the twin water towers, excellent environment, beach vibes and the staff were helpful, the management checked on us to confirm we liked our food and the service they provided. I had the house special fried rice which was quite good, paired with the chicken in chili sauce which was spicy but tasty all the same, the light from the glass walls made the room feel neat and gave you a cheerful vibe as it was noon.

The food here is really good, portion is great and very affordable. Perfect location for a family dinner or birthday dinners. I love it here each time I visit, best price you’ll get in lagos at the quality and ambience they offer. There were lots of kids running around during my last visit tho, might be nice to put that in check.

Okay I went here based on recommendation and personally I have once been here during a wedding ceremony. I had high expectations on this particular visit with my family , but was disappointed big time ! Got there and the first thing they stopped my dad at the entrance of the building and told him that he could not carry his personal camera upstairs to the restaurant! Mind you we were not there for no photo shoot , my dad is an avid photography lover . They kept us waiting there for 10 minutes after which I gave up and kept the camera in the car and we moved on . ( Quick thought here , don’t our phones have cameras ? ) . Anyways reaching upstairs, I’m greeted by one of the waiters , who of-course did not have a clue about my reservation. Well finally got a seat , first thing the place was lukewarm . Like why is a fine dining restaurant warm on a sunny afternoon ? Mind you this place is by no means reasonably priced . It’s right up there with the menu prices . I complain about the heat but no changes ! we start sweating , they change our seats. Now away from windows , they seat us inside , but it’s still the same and to make matters worse , the AC right above where we were seated started leaking water ! I had given up already , a Sunday that I expected to be a beautiful outing with my family was half ruined I prayed that the food would make up for all this mess ! We ordered, Starters Shrimp & Mayo rolls. ( 6out of 10) Chicken rolls. ( 5 out of 10) Chicken dry with chili and peanuts ( 4 out of 10) All chicken with skinny bone and no meat ! Soup Chicken sweet corn (9 out of 10) Main Chicken Fried rice ( 9 out of 10) Chicken Singapore noodles ( 7 out of 10) Prawns in white sauce sizzler. ( 3 out of 10) Tasted rubbery and not fresh ! Beef in black pepper sauce sizzler ( 7 out of 10) Dessert Sticky toffee pudding (7 out of 10) Food was mediocre, I could get better tasting food at many other places that is not priced at half of the menu rate ! The Experience in whole was just not good ! The Manager came towards the end of our visit and apologized saying their air conditioners ar e not working ! That the maintenance teams are working on it ! I mean if you know you have a technical issue why do it when customers are paying in full for a service and they are suffering ! Disappointed and Not satisfied!

This restaurant was perfect! My goodness! The aesthetics, the staff, the food were all perfect. It wasn't too crowded. And the rest room, oh the restroom, so beautiful and comfy. They also have wheelchair accessible restroom separately. They lit a candle on my cake and sang the birthday song for me. The food portion is totally worth it. It's also big enough to share. I highly recommend

This place is an absolute beauty, whether you’re inside, or outside facing the ocean. The food is really good, and the waitress that attended to us (can’t remember her name) was really helpful in giving us recommendations as to what to eat. PS: Don’t order their Felabration cocktail.

The food tasted nice except the clay pot with noodles...it tasted horrible. I did not eat it and I asked the waiter to pack it in a to-go box and he did not . Everything was perfect except that...I love the pineapple fried rice with chili's sauce with prawns. The waiting time needs to be worked on

Great ambiance, large space and quite an amazing view. Had a great time with friends, we had their house special fried rice which was nice. However, there was a fly in my drink which I didn’t notice until I had half of my drink and I had to check the picture I took immediately the waiter brought it and saw the fly sadly. All I got was “we’ll replace it” not even an apology . Which was quite annoying.

Great Chinese restaurant, lovely staff and service. Went for a birthday party and I was impressed how they managed the party and still be able to serve other paying customers at the same time. The view overlooking the ocean is quite breath taking and makes the whole dining experience much more fun. The restaurant has a calm and relaxing atmosphere as well. The food and drinks are equally as lovely as the decor.

Best Chinese Restaurant in Lagos Nigeria and arguably one of the best restaurants in Lagos Nigeria. Firstly, Iove every single thing about this restaurant. The attention to detail is phenomenal. The staff here are highly professional and well trained. I had my waiter delivering awesome, world class service. I can't remember any restaurant in Lagos that ensures the Waiter introduces him/herself just before serving you during your stay at the restaurant. The view of the beach is awesome, the meal was also fantastic. This is a really matured restaurant that provides amazing value for every naira spent. Highly recommended.

My experience at Chai Tang was an awesome one. I love the design of the restaurant and also the arrangement of the interiors. They also have an outdoor space option for eating for those that enjoy the breeze from the sea. I ordered egg fried rice and chicken in sauce. The food was so tasty and I’m certain I’ll be going back to try other food on their menu. The service time was quite fast but the waiters were slow in taking our orders.

There were options for vegetarians also. We liked the taste. The ambiance was superb. The restaurant overlooking the Atlantic ocean, the view is breathtaking ! All worth it.

A must go to Chinese restaurant. Beautiful decor. Nice furniture and don't get me started on the view from there, it's so lovely. The table arrangements is very good for intimate dinners and group dinners. The food is amazing and lots of options on drinks, starters and desserts.

Wonderful experience at ChAi Tang. Really enjoyed my stay. The ambience was it for me. The perfect ocean view, the courteous staff, and the foooood was awesome. Though, somewhat on the high side. The seating setting was such that every group could find their size. There are table settings from two chairs... To larger tables of up to 12 chairs.. perfect for group outings, family hang outs etc. All boxes checked! I will definitely return for another experience

For social distancing they use an E-menu, you just have to scan on your phone and send what you want. It took about 30mins for the food to be ready. Tasty and filling food The ambiance was so cool with a nice music at the background. It has a beach view for pictures.

My experience around Twinwater businesses have been great so far and Chai Tang caps it all. Chai Tang is a fancy fine dining Chinese restaurant located on the 2nd floor of Twinwaters Tower. The first thing that accosts you is that wooden Bridge you see in Chinese movies linking the entrance to the rest of the restaurant. That was really nice. The restaurant has the usual Chinese aesthetic and an outdoor seat area with the sound of the ocean playing music to your ears. It's a pretty nice sight. The food is quite good too. I had the special fried rice and the sweet and sour sauce while my wife had the Singapore noodles. The drinks however wasn't so great except for the strawberry Daiquiri and my wife's Singapore sling. My strawberry Mojito was great a first taste and the rest became tasteless. The food is also quite affordable as it comes more in platters. Chai Tang opens with a lot of promise - superb decor, huge space, amazing seaside views, and a very attractive menu. But that's where it all ends. Service is subpar and worst of all, the food itself is disappointing. It looks and tastes no better than home cooking, and you don't get the beautiful presentation typically expected from a Chinese restaurant. And then the prices!!! Unbelievable. You almost want to ask how the managers dare to quote such prices for this level of service! All in all, a damp squib experience for sure. Zero Chinese fireworks here.

It was my first time at a Chinese restaurant. It had a very classy feel with a piano playing in the background. I enjoyed the spring rolls so much as well as the Shrimp pasta. I sat on the patio after awhile and the scenery with the ocean view, flowers and breeze was really calming. I really enjoyed my visit

For your health and safety concern, only drink from sealed bottles, plastics etc. It’s unbelievable that poor attention is paid to cutlery and utensils to the point where their shows shows fungus and they end up telling you it’s been washed and can’t come off. Yuck 🤮

The sea side view of this restaurant is everything,beautiful and breathtaking,the wait staff are very courteous.It has a large sitting area which is well demarcated,the food is good although the chicken corn soup is overly sweet.Drinks are fair priced. The toilet is one of the cleanest I have been,reminds me of toilets in high end fashion stores,with hand soap and drier provided. Ample parking space.Great place to have a Chinese meal

This restaurant is very beautiful and clean, the food was amazing, it has an ocean view, the staff were very polite and all smiles, they had a high chair for babies, large plates to share and very soft music in the background. It also has outdoor seating. I loved it completely.

First things, the ambience is very calm and the decor is superb with a great view of the ocean . I timed my reservation in a way that would allow us be seated for the sunset. The prices are fair and the portions are large . Our bill came up to about 140 usd equivalent for a table of 5 which is not bad at all .

This is one nice restaurant. Food is good, portions are nice and large (smaller in takeout, however), outside sitting overlooks the water, and waiters are pleasant. Great for a party but also for a romantic lunch/dinner. Definitely recommend.

A really nice restaurant to visit. Nice furniture, beautiful decor and with a balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Foods good, menu range is nice but pricey. Cocktails, wines & a good range of drinks to accompany your meals. Spring rolls are nice, crispy & large. The Peking soup is lovely. I love the view from the large bay windows all around, letting in natural light into the restaurant on 3 sides. Also visited again for a group birthday function and the service, meals & ambience was good. Large group functions may need to speak up early to ensure timely food presentation.

The food is amazinggggg. The location, ambience and service honestly exceeded my expectation. Service was prompt and the waiters were attentive. The portions are large and even though I was full, I still wanted to eat more. The food was that GOOD! I ended up packing it to go. Once you order, you get complimentary prawn crackers and groundnut while you wait for your meal. I had Chicken spring rolls and Prawn with Mayo spring roll. I also got the House special rice which comes with pieces of meat and shrimp. The sizzling fillet beef with black pepper sauce is also a banger. I’d recommend making reservations though. It’s great if you’re going in groups. There are tables for up to 15 people. It’s also great if you’re going in twos or solo. I’m definitely going back there soon.

Fantastic Chinese Restaurant, wonderful intercontinental cuisines, ambient environment with amazing view of the Lagos Skyline and cool Atlantic ocean seabreeze, the chefs and staff are just superb! I will definitely love to visit over and over again.

We visited with family and had a great experience. Better service than we have experienced in most other restaurants in Lagos. Food was well flavored and satisfied our taste buds.

The place had a nice ambience and the food was nice. Despite the restaurant not being full, our attending waiters acted like we were stressing them though because we were quite a large group with specific requests. It was a bit worse when we asked for our leftovers to be packed in take aways (Internally, I'm like are we supposed to leave it here despite paying a huge sum for the meal?🙄).

For ambiance, this place is a new hit in town..spacious dining area, authentic chinese looks, the big semi circle chinese mural is impressive, the tiny bridge from the entrance to the reception and the waiting area are really impressive. Service was good, waiters are attentive, receptionist is doing a good job to accommodate me very well. The food portion is good, the price is a bit high but worth it. The water side seating area is cool. Feels like something new.

This is my 2nd time here and I have enjoyed myself both times. Food is a bit pricey but the portions justify this. The ambience is great, you can see the beach. The conveniences are properly cleaned and beautiful(this is a major thing for me). Overall I am very happy with the service and staff. The drinks too are affordable.
