I was there to explore the wonders of Nature (water) Eleyele lake is in Ibadan city which serves lots of multifunctional purpose ie 1.Boat ride(tour) 2.Transportation 3.Fishing 4.Source of water for Ibadan city water project Location: once you get to Ibadan, board a bus/cab going to Eleyele then ask of Eleyele lake Fee: It depends on the boat riders ,you will have to negotiate with them but it’s cheap Other Attraction:Fish and palm wine are so cheap and if you love Fulani milk (you get to buy fura and Nono at an affordable price) Recommendation : The government/the locals needs to develop healthy hygiene as the place looks unkept and dirty. Common ! This place is a source of livelihood and income to people they should Atleast develop the place . A resort, swimming pool with a view of the lake or an aqua leisure will spice the place up. Above all I enjoyed the boat ride and had a lovely time with the mind blowing view of Nature. Kindly see pictures below

This is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Ibadan, I really enjoyed myself when I visited, from the boat cruise to the ambience, it was so soothing and relaxing. For visual content, you can check out my YouTube channel for the video (Theresa Adido). And don't forget to subscribe after watching 😍

Nice place to go for a first date in Ibadan or to chill out for a weekend when you're bored. Although their customer service is 6/10 and I hope they do better abd be more receptive. You have watch out proper as the place is not easy to locate, be sure not to get lost. It's a good place to be. πŸ‘πŸ½

Visited Eleyele Lake in Ibadan and was truly captivated by its serene beauty and breathtaking views. The fact that there’s no entrance fee makes it even more inviting. The range of activities available adds to the charm, and the affordable charges for equipment access are reasonable. A perfect spot for relaxation and enjoyment. Highly recommended!

Google map is probably gonna provide you the wrong directions, easiest way to get here is through Eleyele bus stop…then ask around cos it’s just around the bus stop corner

At Lake Eleyele, local fishermen are available fishing and people visit the place to patronise the fishermen. You can sail from Eleyele to Apete as a short cut to the town and Ibadan Poly. There are couple of worshipping centres as well. Some Churches use the lake as baptism centre. At the suburb you can find block making Industry and car wash arena and petrol filling stations. You may visit the place for excursion.

A beautiful lake but unkempt. There are weeds floating over the lake reducing the scope of the lake. The forest around the lake has been deforested thereby allowing erosion sweep in sand degrade the lake. But it's good for fishing though!

No infrastructure in place And very bad road leading to the place. Hope the community can think about restoring normally to that environment without waiting for gov. It will serve a good income revenue.. but alas. Those that have been eating the current little money being made their will not want development self...

It was beautiful watching it. However the surroundings are not that clean and this can affect the water source. It's serves a lot of things and there's need to ensure it's clean.

The place is very cool and fun. The sailor is friendly and also the people around. The lake is very big and scary kindof (probably because of phobia). I think Government need to look into the place to make it a standard tourist centre, so as to serve as source of income as well.
