Beautiful Breath taking I like the way the birds fly around the lake Not so easy to locate for new comers tho Best to use google map Also no hotel or hostel to stay over So it has a to be a one day trip Over all I loved it Don't just stay by the dam Move around There are some really cool spots behind the mountains to take pictures!!!

This is one amazing, yet untapped potential tourism sites in Bauchi. Gubi Lake is actually a wonderful place to witness sunrises and sunsets. . Recreational activities such as Scuba diving, sport fishing, Speed boating and kayaking can be introduced to generate revenue and also to aid the locals with many skilled and unskilled job opportunities. The government can do more to the people by simply investing in tourism and having the place grow.

Got to the lake via the dam side and initially thought that there was nothing to see until we met a settlement dweller who directed us to climb up. After climbing up, behold we saw beautiful 😍😊 and vast lake in it's gloriousness. The environment was serene, beautiful, calm. I wished I could view the sunset but I guess that would be for another time but from what I saw, sunset there would have been so beautiful and enjoyable 🤩 I also wished there could be shades with seat to enjoy and take in all the views and angles of the lake
