(Original) झारखंड के जनजातीय समाज की विस्तृत जानकारी लेनी हो तो मोरहाबादी स्थित डॉ . रामदयाल सिंह मुडा जनजातीय संग्रहालय आइये । राज्य के भिन्न - भिन्न हिस्से में पाए जाने वाले सभी 32 जनजातीय समाज की विस्तृत जानकारी एक ही स्थान पर मिल जाएगी । संग्रहालय में जनजातीय समाज की सभ्यता - संस्कृति व इतिहास से जुड़ी जानकारियां व दुर्लभ वस्तुएं हैं । यहां अलग - अलग जनजातियों के मॉडल शो केस बनाए गए हैं । जिसमें इनके जीवन के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी गई है । आदिवासियों का पहनावा , जीवन , कार्य , व आर्थिक स्थिति को भी मूर्तियों के माध्यम से दर्शाया गया है । प्राचीन काल से अब तक की जीवन यात्रा को क्रमबद्ध तरीके से समझाया गया है । कांस्य युग से आधुनिक युग के पारंपरिक हथियार , खान - पान से रू - ब - रू होने का मौका मिलेगा । यही नहीं प्राचीन काल के आभूषण , वाद्ययंत्र , हस्तशिल्प व शिकार करने के हथियार भी सहेज कर रखे गए हैं । इस प्रकार के अनूठे संग्रहालय की स्थापना 2008 में तत्कालीन मख्यमंत्री शिबू सोरेन ने किया था । संग्रहालय का संचालन कल्याण विभाग द्वारा होता है । बाद में संग्रहालय का नाम डॉ रामदयाल मुंडा के नाम पर रखा गया । इसी परिसर में . डॉ . रामदयाल मुंडा जनजातीय शोध संस्थान भी है । झारखंड का एक मात्र जनजातीय शोध संस्थान जहां जनजातीय समाज से जुड़ी इतिहास , संस्कृति व उन्नति के लिए शोध होते हैं । संस्थान की स्थापना 31 अक्तूबर 1953 को हुई थी । इसका संचालन कल्याण विभाग द्वारा होताहै । यह जनजातीय संग्रहालय झारखंड की आदिवासी संस्कति और जनजातीय जीवन और कला का अंदत केंद्र है । संग्रहालय में सभी जनजाति के लिए अलग - अलग शोकेस बनाए गए हैं । शो केस में जीवन शैली तो दर्शाया ही गया है साथ में कौन जनजाति राज्य के किस इलाके में निवास करते हैं और इनकी कितनी आबादी है इसकी भी पूरी जानकारी दी जाती है । जनगणना के अनुसार डाटा अपडेट किया जाता है । वहीं शोध संस्थान में आदिवासियों से संबंधित कई दुर्लभ पुस्तकें भी यहां मौजूद है । संग्रहालय में प्रवेश के लिए नहीं लगता है शुल्क संग्रहालय घूमने के लिए किसी प्रकार का शुल्क नहीं लगता है । प्रवेश से पूर्व सिर्फ विजिटर रजिस्टर पर दस्तखत करना पड़ता है । सरकारी छुट्टी को छोड़कर प्रतिदिन संग्रहालय खुलता है । लोगों को गाइड करने के लिए संग्रहालय के कर्मी भी मौजूद रहते हैं ।

It simply features all the tribes that live in the state with infographics about them like their population, occupation, language and districts they occupy. For a few tribes the materials they make or use are also displayed rest every tribe is displayed as a real sized model.

The replicas are well done and the information provided for each of the tribal communities are clear and precise - Districts, Occupation, Population, Language. Other state govt departments like Tribal Welfare dept. office is housed in the same complex. No entry fees is charged.

It's presently under renovation. Though it has a few exhibitions on various tribes but the overall experience is pretty dull. There is no information stand, any literature on the exhibits or even the staff to guide you around. So, calling it a museum is a stretch. Even the library is sub par and needs serious improvements. There are no tickets or anything. You just have to enter in your name and time of entry at the entrance.

Former President Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated the museum of Tribal Heritage on June 6, 2013. It was created and dedicated to the tribal people of Madhya Pradesh. The vast gallery showcases the way of life of seven significant tribes of Madhya Pradesh - The Bheel, Gond, Korku, Baiga, Sahariya, Bhariya and Kol. Spread across 7 acres of land, Tribal Museum also holds an auditorium, a small boutique shop of artefacts and a restaurant. It stands out from the rest of museums in the country because of the way the exhibits are canvassed. Although the artworks are difficult to decipher, it beautifully depicts the tales of tribes.
