Went to visit on Saturday 9 March 2024. From the search it was found that Siriraj has 3 museum areas: - Siriraj Pimukhsthan Museum - Siriraj Medical Museum - Anatomical Museum - Congdon We only visited one place. The museum is divided into 3 buildings. 1 The main building was originally a fort in the area of the Krom Phra Rajawang Bowon Sathanphimuk (Wang Lang), later the Bangkok Noi Railway Station. The building is an old train station, beautiful and classic, presenting the history of the beginning of Wang Lang Hospital, the construction of the train station, the Bangkok Noi community, the role of the Eastern Kings from the reign of King Rama I until the present, teaching and learning. of the first period of the Ph.D. students, Thai traditional medicine, etc. 2. Siriraj Surgery Building There is a history of the surgical faculty, various equipment and specimens. This building has a restaurant and cafe. 3. Waterside house Shows ancient ships discovered in this area. Exhibited along with the way of life of the Bangkok Noi community. The museum is very well made. There are movies, videos, and various interactive media. The content is good and modern. I really like the stingray series of movies. Suitable for taking children to see. The staff takes care of everyone very much. Even if only 2 people go, every room is open for viewing. Outside the museum Casual atmosphere If you come in the evening, it's a good place to sit and enjoy the breeze. Entrance ticket: Thai people 80 baht, if all 3 places are included 200 baht (Ajarn Sud Saengwichian Museum is closed for renovations indefinitely) Duration of viewing. : The official said 1 hour, but we watched for 2 hours, which was not very detailed. If people look carefully and read every sign, it should take 2-3 hours. Parking: We park at the Wat Rakhang parking building, 20 baht per hour.

Great museum displaying anything from medical and history of Thailand. Include the ancient boat found at the area. After visiting the museum, you can relax and enjoy beautiful Riverside park.

Really cool and interesting medical museum highlighting the challenges in early medicine Thais had in the late 19th century. There are some crazy exhibitions such as human embryos including deformed ones preserved in glass. Including the infamous “Siamese twins.” It is impressive and makes one think about how far not only Thailand but human society has come medically in such a brief period of time.

One entrance ticket allows you to visit various exhibitions which include history of Siriraj hospital, the old palace and medical surgery. The major attraction is the old large wooden boat which was excavated and exhibited there.

This was a nice place to visit as was staying nearby and had a couple of hours to kill. It’s a large clean museum. Gives a good insight into this historical area of Bangkok as well as information about the history of the neighbouring hospital. Leave your bag in the lockers. Photos allowed but not of the historical weapons. There’s a 4D cinema train experience section, which would be good but the main D was the wind effect, the 3D wasn’t very convincing.

Hidden gem in the heart of the old city, easily accessible by boat, my kids love the 4D presentations. I went there since the place was still the railway station. The station is also related to Thai famous drama about Kobori and Augsumalin.

Very well organised exhibitione divided into two sections: history and medical. We saw both sections and I found the history section more enjoyable with good English descriptions. Highly recommended.

Fascinating museum spread over several buildings including a pavilion with an excavated river boat. Good coffee shop also. Not a lot of signs in English but a really unusual addition to your Bangkok sightseeing!
