My favourite guesthouse in my favourite part of the city. The Bang Khun Phrom Suites offers a safe, secluded, comfortable setting, family run with attention and warmth. Its set back from the main street and so peaceful you can easily forget you're in the city. If you want a location that's removed from the hustle and bustle of skyscrapers, sprawling shopping plazas, and hordes of people and traffic, you couldn't do better then this neighbourhood. There are a ton of great local eats, complimened with everything from Western health conscious (and not much so) comfort food, to Japanese, Chinese, and of course loads of delicious and reasonably priced Thai food.

The room was comfortable, with a large double bed and good air conditioner. The shower was separated from the rest of the bathroom with a wall, which stops the test of the room getting wet. A kettle and cups were provided with tea and coffee and a hairdryer was also provided. The only downside was that they ask for a 500THB deposit for the key, which is ridiculous and really awkward if it is your last night in the country.
