In terms of ambience and coziness, this place gets the tops because of the “Thai-ness” it exudes. The food was just okay…nothing astounding that can be associated as unique to them. But it can be an experience eating here if you want to indulge more on Thai culture.

I used to visit them every time without fail when I am in Bangkok. Don’t know for what ever reason the food kinda feel so-so this time round. Is there a change in chef??? I don’t know. And for the price they aren’t cheap. Staff always have top notch service, very friendly and gives you good recommendations. For this they deserve 4 star, kinda hurt to wanna give them 3 star initially. Perhaps Covid did hit them badly. The appetiser maeng keng is a must order. Flower petals wrap with their refreshing sauce and some fruits, nuts and chilli.

Although that I didnt had a good entry for this restaurant as the guy at the reception thought that I was a pickup guy from Grab, he was so rude with me but Ill be honest the food there taste phenomenal. The waiter was really welcoming and smiling most of the time. He suggested dishes which was perfect. Totally worth the visit except for the entry.

Been meaning to come here for a while. Good menu selection of fish, crab and other classic Thai dishes. The food was good, but seemed like the taste was geared towards tourists. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm used to real local spicy, sour, sweet food now 😂

A well-known royal Thai Cuisine institution. Sitting in a colorful colonial style building, Baan Khanitha serves an extensive menu of royal Thai Cuisine with a spirit of Hokkien Chinese recipe. Summer time 🌞 getting my Khao Chae fix and some Thai food at Baan Khanitha. One of the better Khao Chae's I've had around Bangkok. Food is on the pricey side but generally tastes decent. However, with the price point I've expected better handling of raw materials. Massamun chicken had thick breast pieces which were quite dry on the inside though the vegetables were thoroughly stewed. The Okra stir fry with eggs was good but the dried shrimp were a teeth-breaking risk. Great atmosphere and very good service. All in all I would give it 4 stars.

Thai authentic places to try, decoration is so Thai, foods are nice taste, recommend to get cooking dish not a cracker or crispy which already made, you may experience of not fresh. Ingredients may not too fresh but to make them with all ingredients is ok.

Plush interiors. Very friendly staff. Had late lunch here and ordered 3 menu items. The pork fried rice was uneventful. The fish was fresh and good. Good thing the Phad thai though was the saving grace. I’m not sure if I want to go back again. Maybe we ordered wrongly but these just my thoughts.

Fancy Thai food that is a great first stop for tourists that want to ease into the local food. The food quality is generally pretty good, except the steak was overcooked. That should teach me a lesson on ordering “western” food in a Thai restaurant 😅 There is parking on the premise.

The decor was the best and felt very authentic, however the price against the food we ordered didn’t quite match. The dishes that i can give a thumbs up are the Fried Seabass, sweet n sour tofu and appetiser platter. Tom Yum Goong … had better

Nice sit down Resto with great service. Food is ok and a little pricey for the taste. Overall, we enjoyed our time there

Very tasty traditional food - good value for money and great spice level. Super for foreigners. Can recommend.

The price is reasonable, the food is delicious, the interior is excellent, the service staff are friendly, and the overall experience is fantastic! I was lucky to find a delicious Thai restaurant next to the hotel. Although they had an English menu, I preferred to order by looking at pictures. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get✓

I had the opportunity to try this restaurant after many people recommended it. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is beautiful on Thai style but still very modern and about food & service, everything is good tasting, good drink and good service. Overall is ok.

Great freshly cooked tasty food, huge menu with lots of seafood and vegetarian dishes. Attentive staff, prompt service, clean, beautiful dining room and toilets and welcoming management. Great selection of nonalcoholic and alcoholic cocktails. The coconut ice-cream that is served with the mango and sticky rice is particularly good.

Average food, not so great service, very expensive for what’s served. I took my clients there because of the reviews. Sorry, but never again.

Great place for really good Thai food. First time here but will definitely come back again. Not all dishes are hits though.

Real nice looking place. You know it's expensive as soon as you step in. It's a glamorize Thai restaurant. You can get same food for fraction of price somewhere else. It's supposed to be set up for foreigners for that kind of place however 8 out of 10 servers can't speak proper English. You need to find the special uniform managerial staff if you want someone to understand your request in English. Leaving me a little confused. Food is decent and good looking.

Came here after a good meal at their Iconsiam branch in my last trip. However in this branch both food and service is lacking. The river prawn is a scam - the coating is so thick there is barely any meat. We ordered five dishes and the last one (steam fish cake) came after we finished the 4 dishes (1 hour later) and is overcooked and lack flavor. The tom yum soup is the only redeeming item full of prawn flavor but over priced (420 bh for a small bowl with one overcooked shrimp) Staff ratio is high but service is lacking. Falling and failing behind times.

Pricey lunch, but the food was worth it. We had the pad krapow beef and pork, the dried beef stir fry with crispy garlic (liked it so much we ordered a second portion), the stir fried pork, beef skirt steak, seafood soup, and tea. Every dish was cooked perfectly and packed with a ton of flavour. We had a hard time getting out of our seats having gone through so many dishes at Baan Khanitha. Elevated Thai cuisine.

GREAT SERVICE- Nice Restaurant, We were having a company dinner here. The store manager and his team were well supported, staffs were very responsive and helpful We asked for private indoor room for 50 pax About the food, our Thai colleagues complimented the taste was authentic 🥰 Compare to other Michellin guide, this restaurant is affordable

We went to the Asoke branch before and we love the taste so much... This time we came to this branch to experience the taste once again and it was still perfect:) Please do visit this restaurant. It won't let you disappointed.🥰

Outstanding place for authentic Thai food... Used to be a Michelin Star place I hear! Excellent green chicken Thai curry, delicious pork and shrimp dishes... The wines are amazing too. They have a collection of nice Thai wine. Try the Asoke wine, quite delicious. The Italian ones breathe quite a bit, so wait it out for a great bouquet

The best Thai restaurant ever. Every dish was perfect, not only the taste but also the outlook. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also nice. It probably can be for dating and even for business. The staff were also very nice.

Elegant Thai restaurant with good ambience, good service and tasty dishes. There's also a reasonably stocked wine cellar. Quite consistent in taste over the years. Even the plain white rice served is good.

My family and I decided to try Baan Khanitha for dinner since it was close to our hotel. This restaurant mostly caters to large groups of tourists and it reflected in their prices. We enjoyed our food and the dining experience but we wanted to eat where the locals eat. We started with a complimentary appetizer. Then we received our delicious fried rice that was served in a pineapple.

It's a very nice Thai restaurant that I would like to go again or recommend my friends. The place is very comfortable and definitely relaxing. Staff are helpful and polite. Food is quite good and seems clean, at least I am dared to have raw shrimps there.

Oh my - an awesome eating experience. One of the best meals I’ve had in Bangkok. Beautiful surroundings, stunning food (with excellent selection on the menu); superbly attentive staff and very acceptable prices. Excellent in my humble opinion. I’ll definitely be returning here!

Food: I love the food, very tasty! specially papaya salad and chicken green curry. I disappointed with the fish red curry we order- totally misleading the menu picture ( see fish chunk) and real order ( only see lotus stems and few small chunk in the bottom). Service: As we foreigners, the lady took our order was not helpful and seems annoyed when we ask about the menu items. She was not respectful to the senior Thai gentlemen who we accompany to the restaurant. He had left his eye glasses and was not able to read the menu, therefore he ask about different dishes. The other waiters were very efficient and friendly! Atmosphere: Very noisy, if you go for business meal, this is not the place to go.
