The restaurant is one the G/F and 1/F of the hotel and the best view can be enjoyed mostly one outdoor of G/F and 1/F. But only a few tables there can enjoy nice view and they are all table for 2. Better choose another restaurants if you are visiting with groups with more than 2 people and eager for photos with best view🥲 And some of the staffs are not friendly when seeing customers taking photos and they tidying table carelessly that some leftover of shells are found on my fds bag 😟!!! Partial good view of the restaurants but the services needa train up to maintain good reputation in Bangkok.

This is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch, yet is rated as one on Google Maps. There is no real lobby, no amenities. The standard room is very small and has a food smell, presumably from the kitchen. The staff were notified but did nothing. There is excess of cups and wine glasses that takes up most of the counter. The housekeeping did not come until asked for, which was at 4pm. Toilet and shower also not great. The water was weak and the knob was falling apart. The toilet had a yellow stained plastic seat. NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. In fact there is a huge unfriendly tall step at the entrance, which is itself semi-blocked by the neighboring warehouse/shop. 2 star for existing and not being an outright scam.

Don't ever come. Worst service experience ever. We went there for our birthday dinner. The A/C water dropped on our plate and the staff had ignored us for 15-20 mins. Piling all plates on our table and kept serving other tables like nothing happened. To the point that we needed to call the staff again and find out that they forgot us... All the food was cold and bland already. It's our month-ahead planned birthday dinner and this experience has ruined it completely. We were told to wait for another 15-20 mins to cook everything again so we decided to leave to find street food nearby to eat instead. Complete disappointment.

Just went to the restaurant- as I love the location and the food is always high quality. Reasonably priced too for the view you are getting. If you can book a table in advance! It can fill quickly - but on saying that, don’t be upset if you can’t get a front table - you can still see the spectacular view from any table. Plus you can move around to take photos

The rooftop bar has the good view of wat arun at night, the proce of the drinks are comparable with a glass of drinks in all other country. But with the view, it’s perfect spot to visit. Come at night around 9 plus

We booked a dinner at the Terrace. The sunset view of Wat Arun temple, from the terrace is absolutely magnificent. There are several floors for dining and at the top most is a bar. Food is good and prices are moderate. Staff service and attitude are just great and very attentive. Getting to there can be a little bit challenging as you won't be able see the location from the main road. Reservation is required. Highly recommended.

No elevator so it's a workout if you live on the top floor. Every day the smell of food from the kitchen would saturate our room. The counter of the tiny room is filled with glass bottles of alcohol for sale which was a liability since we had to be careful not to accidentally bump into anything and knock it over. Shower water goes cold and weak very fast. The toilet and shower are in different rooms but share the same door so you can only close the door to one of those rooms at any moment. No breakfast or gym but there is a rooftop bar. Some staff are attentive and willing to help and others don't put much effort into hospitality. The front entrance of the hotel smells like urine.

Incredible location with beautiful views. Great rooftop bar. Chic rooms and an immensely comfortable bed. Incredibly helpful service, letting us check in earlier after an early arrival in Bangkok. The restaurant is fantastic. Couldn't rate higher and would definitely come back.

the hotel room is actually quite comfortable. only the information when booking is not clear. I stayed because I wanted to have a river view. but instead you can see people's houses. very disappointing. whereas when booking it was not explained that the standard type does not get a view. even the photo used is of a room with a view.

I visited this place for dinner at its restaurant. It commands a great view of Chaophraya River and the iconic Temple of Dawn. The view is even greater from the rooftop bar. The food is nice though a bit pricey. But that's what you pay for such a view and ambience.

This is a high quality hotel located alongside the Chao Phraya River and near the Grand Palace and the National Museum Bangkok. There are other amazing tourist attractions nearby - including the launch location of the river cruises. This hotel has an excellent rooftop bar with views of the sunrise and sunset over the river. There’s an excellent restaurant inside this hotel. The breakfast meal was included in our room price - but, check your booking to see if your breakfast meal is included. The meals are good with a good variety of food prepared by a chef. There are Asian and western foods prepared here. Excellent service. Very friendly staff. The hotel is located down a narrow alley. There is no lift inside this hotel - but staff will carry your bags up the stairs for you. There is excellent air conditioning in the rooms. The room we booked had a view of the river that looks out towards the Arun Temple.

It was next to the river,BUT,, we could not get a room facing the river. We got a tiny room facing the alley. You also have to walk a quarter mile from street to get to front of hotel. Taxis cannot get into the street accessing the lobby. Only plus side was workers were very nice.

We went to their rooftop restaurant and bar on the fifth floor for a sun downer. What an amazing view of the river Chao Phraya and Arun wat at the backdrop. It's one of the must visit bars in the area, there are some options in the same area with a similar view. But this restaurant was superb. Good behaviour of the staff. Few drawbacks: No lift Slow service during the sunset time, probably due to rush, but it was very slow.

Beautiful bar and restaurant right on the river with stunning views across to Wat Arun. A great place to enjoy the evening breeze, cool drinks, and tasty food while you watch the busy life of the river pass you by. The mellow ambience contrasts nicely with the hectic pace of the city - it's very easy to spend a few happy hours with friends in this unpretentiously hip spot. The first level is a great restaurant, but I always go for the roof bar for the best views and atmosphere.

Great location and great view from the dining room. Unfortunately the roof deck was closed. We had a standard room and it was fine for sleeping. If you are after a basic room this place is worth a look.

Stunning view of Wat Arun and located near multiple temples and historical sites. Staff service was good. Just note that there is no parking on-site nor elevators. Breakfast options were a hit-and-miss. Found the room to be a bit dirty due to condensation and the floor not being swept properly. Good for a one night stay to sight see and take photos but I would not personally stay more than.

Food tastes so so and less menu. Food price is quite high compared to the portion. Service is just acceptable. you must book at least a month to get a good view table. Overall it’s ok..not impressive.

Great place for enjoying sunset views with Wat Arun. Indoor and outdoor tables including rooftop are available, but advanced reservation is recommended. Food is okay, but a bit pricey.

Everything was Amazing...the room, the view, reception staff, breakfast staff, restaurant staff, cleaners....even the chef came out & had a chat with us one morning @ breakfast. The Rooftop Bar Staff though, are entirely different...unless you are insta-famous, it is hard to get good service from them!?

Long weekend of rest and relaxation. View of the river and Wat Arun were as expected, Fantastic!. Located within easy walking distance of many tourist spots (temples, palaces & Chinatown etc). Very close to a pier to catch a river boat to other locations. Easy walking distance to the subway to inner city destinations. The hotel itself is a nice boutique hotel with about 15-20 rooms, staff are very friendly and attentive (except maybe for those in the rooftop bar but it was busy). Prices are a little bit high but acceptable given the location and the spectacular views. Overall i enjoyed my weekend break and would recommend staying here.

A very disappointing experience at the restaurant. It's always frustrating when you have good food but are let down by poor service. The service team was not attentive to our needs and may have even been rude in their approach. It's unfortunate that my girlfriend birthday celebration was ruined by the service team's behavior. We should have been able to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed or pressured to leave. While it's understandable that the restaurant may have had a last order policy, the way it was communicated to us was inappropriate. It's important for restaurants to make their policies clear to customers so that everyone is on the same page. However, the service team should have been more tactful in communicating the policy and ensuring that it didn't detract from the dining experience. Overall, while the food may have been good, the poor service and unprofessional behavior of the service team definitely took away from the overall experience. Hopefully, the restaurant will take the feedback into consideration and work to improve the customer service in the future.

It was good place to stay if you want to experience Thailand vibe of sanctuary view. The breakfast is great with Watarun view. But since the building is quite old, the room smelled coming from a drain and many mosquitoes…! FYI!

The food is just OK, nothing really magical. But the view, especially during sunset is amazing. You might want to make a reservation on weekdays to get the table closest to the glass wall.

First place I went to after landing in Bangkok. Aside from the 10,000,000 stairs to get up to the rooftop it was awesome! Had wonderful views, nice seating arrangement, cozy environment, oh and the ribs were excellent.

The most amazing views at this rooftop bar. Cocktails perfected and a very smart, relaxed lounge atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Spend 2 day 1 night recently. Kudos to the great view and location. Everything is in walking distance, Wat Pho, Grand Palace, Wat Rachabophit, etc. Lots of restaurants and loads of nice cafe. All staffs are lovely and very helpful. Our dinner and breakfast was tasty. Sadly it was not comfy to stay overnight. Room facility was quite poor, room is dark, the curtain was broken. It was noisy too, even we stay on the top floor and the rooftop bar was still closed, not sure what is the source of the noise though. The bed & pillow are the real low point for me 😣

I will tell you some thing that online travel agents do not want u to know about. When reserving resorts use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ They easily have the best deals on rooms! Way better than using expedia, tripadvisor, hotwire. That is for sure!!! Amazing place with a majestic atmosphere and good taste of classic music. Although I visited here on a friday night, it was peculiarly empty. This place definitely deserves to be voted above the curve. I want to visit this casual rooftop bar again! (Lower levels serve fine dining)

Didn't stay at the hotel but had a business meeting and dinner there. Food was good (Thai food but made for western tastes) and good wine. Good service and of course the location is why everyone wants to come here. It has the million dollar views of Wat Arun. The rooftop bar is another terrific asset and has the wow factor to impress visitors to Thailand. Highly recommended and will go back.

The hotel is down a narrow alley that serves as a functional wholesale distribution centre. Take note that the hotel does not have any elevators and the rooms although very sizable did have some funky smells. The highlight is obviously the breathtaking views of Wat Arun. However a dark knight of Sala is the amazing breakfast options. The dining team are amazing! Everything made to order

We had diner on the terrace of the eatery (ground floor) : the view on the Wat Arun is amazing, the restaurant is small but cosy and the staff was nice and friendly. Food was really good, well presented and served in large portions. We had several different dishes (spiciness advised by our waitress) and all were delicious! A lovely time!

More good than bad, 3.5 stars. Great location near Wat Pho and Grand Palace. Amazing view. Great breakfast on the river, good rooftop for sunset drinks. Drinks and food options were just slightly more expensive than the neighboring rooftop places (of which there are many). Did not experience the 2nd floor restaurant but it looks nice. The building has a 'style,' retrofitted industrial, which is not for everyone but we liked it. The waterfront is a bit grimey, as is the alley you go down to get to the front door. We experienced two rooms due to an AC issue, a suite and a more standard deluxe room, both river view. The suite was amazing and we wished we could have enjoyed it longer. The 'deluxe river view' was fine but did not live up to the price. They fixed the AC in the deluxe room and then moved us into it, but then the shower barely worked. Staff was great!

Fabulous View !! Went in for a drink with a friend, and just had snacks, so not possible to give an opinioin on the food or the accomodation. In terms of what you can see, this place is excellent, each corner of the rooftop bar has so many historically significant ranging from Wat Arun, Wat Po, Grand Palace and can see the Rama 8 bridge in the background, will certainly be back again.

The restaurant made us the best meal (by far) yet in Bangkok! Tom yum goong, yum talay, and kana hongkong sauce poo -- all exquisite. And you simply cannot beat the view.

Hotel is located at heart of local area. A little bit in narrow street and no carpark. But the view of wat arun temple is the best. Room was Nice but since the whole building was renovate from old building so there is no lift and the noise isolation was not good. The bed was comfortable enough. The best thing for our trip is food and service. All food was tasty and large even the price is little high.

One of greatest view of Wat Arun to look at for sunset. Lost counting how many times I had been here. Being able to enjoy Wat arun view since sunset til night. From a balcony in a restaurant to 2nd floor through the mirror and move to the rooftop are a great experience in Bangkok. Just this time, my friend ordered most of dishes were seafood and I think seafood dishes are not their strength. I had local Thai foods on menu, they were great. But River prawn and oyster dishes were not that on point. Besides that it’s all good both in service and location

9.4/10 Outstanding view of Wat Arun at the edge of the river, especially as the sun sets, the indoor seating on 3 levels is truly elegant. But the rooftop seating is wanting. Maybe it's used more or exposed to the weather? Nevertheless, it's a contrast from their other seating areas. Getting to the restaurant is just as fun. It is between alleyways, for a moment you wouldn't believe you are going somewhere this fancy! But everyone is incredibly friendly and the area seems quite safe even at night. You could taste the mango and strawberry in their smoothies, their serving is huge! But the best was their prawn appetisers and their fish and chips. Kids enjoyed it so much we had to get seconds! The sauce served with them made it all worth it.

Have an obstacle to postpone the date of stay. The receptionist told to process on website but actually I can only cancel on website but for postpone have to contact hotel. He told me to cancel and make another reservation on website. Hotel should update website to have postpone option or give better train to him to have more service-mind and customer care.

Amazing sunset view of the Temple of Dawn across the Chao Phraya River while enjoying sumptuous Thai cuisine. Pricey but totally worth it. The terrace gets crowded with diners going in and out to get a snapshot even when they are not allocated a seat there. For more privacy go for upstairs. Book early!
