Easy to find, simple enough to purchase a ticket (just follow the siiigns) and the bus left right on time to Pattaya! I went on the 11am on a Wednesday and we arrived in good time, not 5 hours later like some unfortunate people experienced. Didn't need the pleasure of using the toilet onboard... it's an old noisy bus but for the price you pay I think it's a great and super cheap way to get to Pattaya! I got a motorbike taxi into town, but you can jump on a pickup taxi it's probably cheaper (literally a small pick up truck with seats in the back, generally they wait for the seats to fill up before leaving), by motorbike it was 80 baht (I went to the Hard Rock hotel) but you could haggle to get it cheaper.

Buses to Eastern Thailand. In need of a serious renovation but it does it's job. Can get busses, coaches, minivans here. Multiple counters selling tickets to same places so check Google for information about each booth. Can go to Hua Hin, Pattaya, etc I went to Huahin from booth 21. Minibus was comfortable had seatbelts and AC. Stopped once for short toilet break. Total time 4 hours. Booth 28 for tickets to Pattaya. The bus terminal is at Ekkamai BTS. NO AC limited stores but a 7/11 is outside. ATM available Bring tissues or toilet paper for halfway bathroom

Came here to catch a bus from BKK to Pattaya. After we got here, there were so many stands saying Pattaya, we were super confused. One lady from the stand Sangsai said their car will leave soon β€œleave now leave now”, so we bought tickets, 150 THB per person. After we got onto the van, we realized it was a trap because the van was empty and they won’t leave till the van is packed, so we ended up waiting another 40 mins while we could have gone with another bus stand which literally left 5 min after we arrived and with cheaper price! For the whole ride, the air con was not working properly, the van was hot and humid, but of course, at the beginning of our trip, the van was working just fine?! Told the driver a few times with google translate that he need to adjust AC but he didn’t do anything! The driver stopped a few times throughout this ride, at one point, he even stopped on the side of the road and bought himself a lunch! It was a bad experience!

After taking a bus from pattaya I reached here. The Bus station was well connected to the city as it has a BTS Ekamai station right next to it. The terminal has good seating space and sells tickets to various eastern provinces from here. I also saw a counter selling tickets to the Cambodian border. It also has ATM's and shops selling drinks and snacks.

First cashier, 131 TBH one way to Pattaya, then go to the back to the blue bus. I got on a morning bus at 8:00 on Sunday. I was there 20 minutes before scheduled departure. No problem. They did not allow me with the can of coke, I needed to finish it.

Can catch bus, minibus, minivan to Chonburi, Pattaya Beach, Hua Hin and many other places. This bus station needs some renovations. Has all basic facilities though.

Bangkok Bus Terminal (Eastern), also known as Ekkamai Bus Terminal, serves as a key point for travelers exploring Eastern Thailand. Located in a bustling area of Bangkok, it's directly accessible from the Ekkamai BTS Station, making it highly convenient for those using public transport. The terminal mainly operates routes to destinations like Pattaya, Rayong, and the islands of Koh Samet and Koh Chang. Despite its modest size, it efficiently handles a significant volume of passengers daily. The layout is straightforward, with clearly marked areas for ticket counters, boarding points, and waiting areas. Facilities include a selection of small shops and food stalls, providing basic amenities to travelers. While it might lack the extensive facilities of larger terminals, it compensates with its streamlined services and ease of navigation.

After purchasing a ticket for the wrong day online lol I had to purchase a ticket in person at the station. DO NOT PURCHASE tickets ONLINE, buy them in person they are cheaper. Purchased ticket and was on the bus with moments to spare, bad time keeping on my part! Staff friendly, I didn't get chance to view any of the shops or facilities won't comment on them.

Another adventure going from bkk to cha am from Ekkamai station. Ticket sales person was gone and had to be summoned to sales booth. Biggest problem was the bus made a few stops on the way picking up and dropping off people but did not notify passengers of the cha am stop. Upon checking GPS noticed the bus was passing cha am heading full speed ahead to hua hin. Drivers not concerned. His solution was to stop in middle of 6 lane highway and let's us out in the middle of nowhere to catch an unknown bus back to cha am. At that point we were 8 km past cha am. Finally made it alive to cha am by snagging a stray bus heading the opposite direction. Sure would have helped if driver notified passengers what stops were being made and checked his manifest as to the number of passengers disembarking at particular locations.

It's a basic bus terminal. No air con. It is functional you can get tickets and buses from here what more do you need from a bus terminal.

Big bus to Ban Phe and Koh Somet, avoid the 3rd and 4th row. Even on a nearly empty bus, they will try to give you these seats first. Even if you book your tickers days ahead, they will try to give you these seats πŸ˜‰ interesting strategy. On the other hand the busses are nice and have USB charging in the center of each seat pair. But no bathroom so make sure you take care of business before boarding πŸ˜‚

This terminal serves the eastern part of Bangkok. For tourists staying in Sukhumvit area would be much easier to get to Pattaya from here.

Do not use the mini buses, Took to long...driver and painter where extremely rude the even hit my girlfriend!!! YES THEY PHYSICALLY PUNCHED HER IN THE LEG 3 TIMES!!! All my stuff got thrown on the floor and some of my art equipment has been broken paid 160 baht each for the four of us (me my girlfriend and 4 and 5 year old) they also tried to put more people in the kids chairs as they wasn't taking up a full chair!! Took nearly 4 hours (No there was no traffik) they stopped 4 times for petrol then oil somewhere else then food then I don't even know what they got last...all with a mini bus FULL OF PAYING CUSTOMS!!! SO WE PAID NEARLY 500 BAHT TO GET ABUSED....MY ADVICE PAY MORE GET WHAT YOU DESERVE!!
