FANTASTIC PLACE! Best place to stay near Khaosan Road in Bangkok, Thailand! Take the S1 AIRPORT bus to Khaosan Road and you are a few minutes away from this beautiful place tucked away NOT TOO FAR from all the night life, fun and shopping in the area! Bank just a five minute walk away if you need to exchange money. 7-11 just a few minutes away. Bed was comfy, bathroom is BIG with nice water and the place is super clean! And if you love cats there is four cats you see once in a while roaming around that are SUPER CUTE! My favorite place to stay in Bangkok for sure!

Loveliest woman didn’t even charge me for me missing my reservation and looking after one of my parcels for 2 weeks. I will definitely stay at my next opportunity!

Incredibly convenient location with bus stop from airport via A4 just 5 minute walk away, and the local busstop for major Bangkok lines literally outside the doorstep. Room is spacious, bathroom gigantic for Thailand standards and the price, hot water system strong. Pillows super fluffy. Free fridged bottle water self serve, host also makes own bottled Thai milk tea. The common kitchen and lounge is spacious and relaxing with balcony of the river, rocking chairs, sofabed and books. Host is fantastic like all other reviews said. She uses Google translate for English communication, so have translate on my phone made conversing easy. Ask her anything, including local food, travel and general questions. Honestly better service and knowledge than many hotel concierges. The cats were also cute.

A nice guesthouse with extremely friendly staff. There's no lift, but the receptionist carried our heaviest bag upstairs for us. There's A/C, and free chips, cereal, juice boxes, and bottled water. The street is surprisingly quiet for being one block off a major street and four blocks from Khao San Rd. The best part is we left our luggage for the day after we checked out, and then they let us shower and change that evening before we headed to the airport. You can find nicer places, but you won't beat the family feel of this place at the low price.

Really wonderful hotel, lovely and clean, good fittings and facilities with hair dryer, A.C., good pillow and bed. Greeted by sweet hostess who made us feel welcome. Bonus is complimentary bread, peanut butter, nutella, water, soft drink,tea and coffee on the second floor with a lovely seating area facing the canal and a dining table - really amazing and feels just great. Also makes leaving in the morning easier. Handy info provided in lobby. Highly recommended

Overall it was a pleasant stay..away from the busy and noisy areas but yet close enough to some nice places for shoppers and night life..

My partner and I had such an amazing time here. The housekeeping ladies are very accommodating. All the snacks and drinks in the rooms were free and if you run out, there's free top ups as well! There's a few cats running around the place too if you're like me and LOVE cats. They mostly do their own thing. Highly recommended.

Without a doubt, the best place I have stayed in in Bangkok. After some awful bookings in the last few days, I booked this place randomly hoping for a good night's sleep. It far, far exceeded expectations. The owners are very friendly. They don't speak English, but we were able to communicate effectively with Google Translate. There's a really lovely lounge area on the second floor overlooking the river, as well as desks. They provide free coffee and some other stuff, which is a nice touch. For 700 Baht, the room was exceptional. In my opinion, it is worth way more than that. I had a private with an ensuite. The bed was extremely comfortable, all linen was clean. There was a huge desk in the room, which was useful as I work remotely. AC worked perfectly, the shower was actually hot and the room had a small balcony overlooking the river. On top of that, they very kindly supply the room with free coffee, cereal, juice and chips. Wifi was perfectly sufficient and the room was extremely spacious. I honestly can't recommend this place enough. If you want a fantastic room near Khaosan Road at an affordable price, stay here. I would have booked more nights. Sadly, it is fully booked. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Good value apartment in a good location. It’s across the street from Wat Bowonniwet, the beautiful temple. Also, not far from many attractions such as Grand Palace, National museum, Giant Swing and so on. Many street food vendors, massage places and shops are nearby. The whole apartment is super clean. The staff ladies are very nice and friendly. They offer laundry service with a very reasonable price.

Lovely people and really well-maintained hotel/hostel. Great communal area and free tea and coffee. Definitely a good place to stay.

We loved our stay there and would choose it again! Convenient location, quiet, air-conditioned, clean, modern room and bathroom with hot water and no insects. Very friendly and helpful staff, open buffet with drinks and snacks. A perfect place to relax after a long day of urban explorations. Very good value for money.

I would rate this place 6 out of 5. The host is amazing and they give feel just like home only. They also provide free water and snacks.

Clean, very quiet, good a/c rooms. 10 minute walk from river ferry, Koh San Road, restaurants, etc. Friendly management. Limited English (staff) but Owner speaks perfect English. Probably want to avoid room 301 for another week or two after this post. Previous guest must have feed and/or let the cat in the room. Scratching door & meowing at 1am one night. Owner resolved the issue the next day. Cats normally not roaming hall ways during the night so shouldn't be an issue. If cats are out, best not to feed and/or bring them in the room. Confuses the cat when you depart & next guest arrives. Overall, good value.

It’s very clean, smells good, great location (only 50 baht taxi to/from nearest subway station). There’s a communal space with free milk, tea, juice, water, soft drink, snacks, fruits, bread, Nutella, etc available 24 h! It felt like home preparing my own breakfast. And staff are really welcoming and friendly. No wonder why it’s fully booked today.

Fantastic place to stay. Very clean and great air conditioning. Quiet at night time but still only a 3 minutes walk from Khao San. Staff very helpful and friendly and we left our bags here the whole next day. There is free food and bottled water etc available to guests and we were even invited to help ourselves when we came back for our bags in the evening. Couldn’t have asked for more!!

I booked Thanabhumi based on very good reviews. It is good hotel in a budget. Room is good and is without fridge and TV but has AC. Bathroom in 301 had some smell sometimes may be due to rain and canal next to it. However it has common area with free coffee, tea, milk, chips, bread butter, water, soft drinks, fruits, juices, cookies and muffins. You can have them anytime(24 hrs) which is really great. Lady at the reception is very kind and helpful. They provide shower option after checkout and you can still enjoy free snack and drinks after checkout. They have 4 cute kittens roaming around. I would suggest them to have table fans in outdoor on 2nd floor as it is hot there. Location is good and major tourist places are within 8 km. We also booked cab via them to airport in 400 Baht which was good.

We only stayed there for one night. But we can surely say that s a good place to stay. Very friendly and very clean. The rooms looked quite new. The place is near some famous sightseeing destinations, so u don't always need a taxi. They also offer free soft drinks like coffee and so on...also toast chips and so on. Would recommend this place

Great place to stay! Clean room with AC, shampoo, conditioner, all the works. The host at the front desk stayed up late to check us in after our flight got in late which was very helpful. Also, there are free snacks and drinks 24hr which is a great perk. Walking distance to many of the main attractions, but still quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again!

This was in the perfect location for walking to things in Bangkok. We had a great view from our room of a canal. I loved the snack room, it saved us from having to go out to breakfast on top of lunch and dinner every day. You can do laundry. The service was fantastic. My husband and I loved it here.
