I fell in love with this place! i stayed here for 5 weeks while working in north bay. its an amazing little gem you would never know existed if you were just driving by. the family that own bend over backwards for their guests! the rooms are spectacular, always extremely clean….i experienced the cabins, the drive up rooms, and the upstairs suites as i was traveling home on weekends and had a different room each week. i highly recommend room 304 with the jacuzzi for couples, it was my favourite room. Although the upstairs suites are pretty unforgettable too…. ill be returning here with my wife and 2 kids next summer for our vacation.

My husband and I stayed in north bay at a different hotel for our honeymoon when we came to sunset inn excellent staff very friendly. You have the hotels beach. Honestly we have had to stay at some hotels lately and this hotel was the cleanest hotel we have been to lately. The other people staying were very friendly. If you want a vacation by lake with a jacuzzi tub in room this is the place. The place has 7 jacuzzi rooms witch where also clean. We will be back every year for a our anniversary 100% thank you sunset in your doing a great job.

This place was excellent, very clean. A little small but it was cozy. There was wine glasses ready to go in the room. The jacuzzi was great and relaxing. The staff up front were great and accommodating. Next time I am up there I will be staying for the weekend. There is a dock to park a boat and everything. So nice, and a great Lakeview sunset! Super friendly staff, I had a trailer because I went to north bay to buy a snowmobile. He went out of his way to make sure I had a safe place to park. Room was very clean!

Very Nice rooms recently renovated. Excellent value. Private beaux on l'aie Nipissing. 5 minutes walk tout beautiful Sunset Park. Neighboring restaurant Marygold servant very good Indian cuisine. Highly recommanded!

The place is amazing. Owners are more that helpful and super nice. They treat you like family. No pool, but not needed as there is a quaint little private Beach.

Our room and balcony were comfortable and clean. Great, soft king bed and great location. 1st trip ever where I was greeted by the owner BY MY NAME!! Great trip 👌

Love this place! Clean, friendly staff, spacious rooms with microwave, keurig, coffee pot, fridge. Private beach, ducks, dock, what's not to love. I highly recommend this place and will be back.

Really nice place right on the water. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and then dinner at the 1886 restaurant down the road. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the owner even brought some extra kids beach toys for our son to play with on their private beach.

This is a great location for the snowmobile trails. I stayed here last year and again this year. The owners are 2 very polite and friendly hosts I have met. The rooms were very clean and updated not to say spacious and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here winter or summer. Thanks again for being great hosts !

Its a gem of a place. We had a king fireplace suite and it was so nice. Everything was nice and clean. The owners are super nice and friendly. Right on the lake with lake access. It was a perfect stay for a ice fishing weekend.

We'd booked five nights at another property in North Bay where we'd stayed before but when we arrived there were a ton of problems this time and we ended up leaving after just one night. We drove around looking for another place to stay-- since the week between Christmas and New Year is Husband's only week off all year, and we had already driven several hours to North Bay-- and we ended up finding the Sunset Inn. It was a charming looking property from the outside and we were quite impressed with the whole stay. Our room looked all cabin-y inside, so it was quite charming inside as well. Everything was very clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and present without being intrusive. We were there for four nights and had a lovely, cozy trip. We would definitely recommend this property to others and we will keep it in mind in case we're back in the area some other time!

Although the weather was cold and rainy it was nice to walk on the small private beach and the dock had a fabulous view of lake Nipissing. The restaurant next door (Merigold) had great Indian/Thai food.

Just got back from this place and the experience was fantastic: friendly and welcoming personnel, beautiful setting, uber-clean room and well maintained premisses and buildings. Perfect! Highly recommended!

Extremely rude staff, assuming it was the owner. After trying to book a room they told us jacuzzi rooms were out of the question when my wife and I mentioned we had a baby, because they are "gross and dirty". We were coming up to visit family, so we said our child wasn't going to be staying the night with us. She had another excuse saying we would just bring them over to use the beach. Now I understand why the prices are so cheap.

We recently concluded our stay at the 3 bedroom chalet and I can't say enough good things about our stay. This place is a hidden gem. The views are superb, the beach is clean and the shallow, sandy entry to the lake is ideal for children. Asides from the prime waterfront location, I am very pleased with the accommodations. The cottage is tastefully decorated; it is basic but all you need is there. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cups, glasses, pots, pans and utensils. The entire cottage was very clean and well maintained. The virtual tour of the cottage as exactly what we found when we checked in. The owners were exceedingly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel like valued guests. We weren't planning on going back to North Bay but now we will because we would gladly spend more time at Sunset Inn on the park. We were truly able to relax there.

Easy to find, very welcoming staff at check in. Rooms are spacious and clean. Nice beach area that is quiet and comfy. Water is shallow for young kids. You can park next to your room which makes it easy to pack / unpack. Good restaurants within walking distance. No ice machine but if you ask they will get some for you. Beach towels available. I would stay there again.

Absolutely charming place to stay! Attention to detail was evident from the linens to the beautiful gardens. The staff were friendly and accommodating and check in was a breeze. The private beach area and dock allow for a stunning vista of Lake Nippissing. The suite was immaculate and clean and very well maintained. Enjoyed chatting with the owner and would definitely stay here again! A real gem in North Bay! Highly recommend!

The room was very clean. They make extra effort to add a nice little touches like a free bottle of water, candles, and the hot tub for two in the penthouse suite - and the view of the sunset was spectacular. I highly recommend the sunset Inn. The owner and his family are very kind.

We really enjoyed our stay at sunset inn! The rooms are spacious and very clean! It was the perfect location for us as our friends were getting married next door, beautiful spot right on the beach. We were travelling with a baby and the owners were so accommodating/helpful. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone travelling in the north Bay Area!

Great help and willing to help! Very thankful to have found sunset inn. We had a previous cabin booked with another place that was terribly cold and visually bad. First thing in the morning sunset inn helped us out with a clean, beautiful, warm, great priced room! Thanks to them we were able to enjoy out time in northbay:)

I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff were so friendly, the fellow guests were as well. It was so clean. My queen size room even had a little kitchenette which I wasn't expecting. The cost was so reasonable. The one thing you don't find in most hotel rooms though is a deep soaker tub and this one has them! The only thing I would change is allowing pets but, I do understand and you can see from the rooms but they are immaculately kept. Anytime I'm in this area this is the place I will stay at and they have lots of different options from a regular hotel room to a little tiny cittage and it's right on the water. This beats Hilton
