Hidden away in the middle of a shopping centre that there is an elevator to reach, still it gets busy due to the spectacular views so may be worth booking in advance. I came during a foggy day so couldn't see too far, but the views were still good. We had the apple pie and I had homemade lemonade, and my partner had hot chocolate. The apple pie was perfect for the chilly morning, and was served with squirty cream. Service was quick despite how busy it was during the visit, and it's not overpriced being somewhere with a view!

As we didn’t have a reservation we’d need to leave at 1:45 pm because the table was booked after that. It was ok because we would have an hour which is enough. Problem is that the food took ages to arrive and after more than half an hour waiting, the burger served was COMPLETELY UNCOOKED. As we didn’t have much time left we ate what we could and mentioned this to the waitress that didn’t even apologise. Very disappointing, I’m going to post this everywhere so people are aware of the quality of food you serve.

Multiple locals recommended it, and they were absolutely right. The view is exceptional. The service is great, and the food is nice. We had the shakshouka and the scrambled eggs. Both were great, but I’d recommend the shakshouka much more. Make sure it’s one your first destinations in Amsterdam, gives you a nice preview to almost the entire center.

The views are spectacular. The elevator ride itself is even nice. The service was spectacular. Do make a reservation! The prices were quick high for pastries and coffee in Amsterdam, as well as the other dishes. The scrambled eggs toast had a very generous amount of salmon and eggs which felt fair. The coffee (plus an up charge for non-dairy milk) was high but it was tasty. We also enjoyed the apple pie. Worth visiting if in town

Amazing view, prices similar to anywhere nearby. Not crowded with tourists, I didn’t even need to book. I recommend the salmon sandwiches for breakfast.

Amazing breakfast experience with a 360-degree view of the city! The decor is a stunning mix of luxury, and modernity. The restaurant also offers a wonderful drink menu. I ordered the scrambled tofu on toast and it was savory and delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is brilliant.

We enjoyed our breakfast here. The staff were very friendly and food was delicious with a generous quantity. I went there, especially for the panoramic view of the city and although we did not make a reservation, we were welcomed kindly, and given a table near the window.

The drinks were nice, but the food is really basic... I would still recommended to go there for the view, it is really pretty and quite unique top view around Amsterdam city center. The staff was friendly and kind, but the food took about 40 min to arrive, and you can see that it was not a very complicated dish selection 😅

Great food with a beautiful view! We went on a Saturday and they were pretty busy but we were able to get a table for 4 without a wait. The Cobb salad and the burgers were great! Highly recommend.

I don’t say this because they have the best view above Amsterdam BUT this is the place to go! This restaurant is located in the Kalverpassage, you just have to take the elevator to the top level. The restaurant as 2 levels but I recommend reserving a place. We have been lucky on both occasions and as far as I could observe, staff have been very supportive to provide a table for people coming up. So technically it is possible to just try your luck, however if you want to make sure, reserve a time slot. The food is just amazing, the best pumpkin salad I have ever tried! the burger was great too! dessers and drinks delicious! we didn’t wait long and prices have been absolutely reasonable - definitely a must GO!

They have a panoramic view, a great decor and a nice breakfast and brunch menu which makes this place a great attraction. My personal reason to visit was the panoramic view of the city and it was worth it. Great cappuccino, the croissant was okay. Might be nicer if there was a bit more options with the menu.

What a view! Lovely staff, very popular - we decided to spontaneously go there and they had a table for us. The view on the 3rd floor is amazing. The food was great, we got cheese croquettes, a salmon on bread and a scrambled eggs sandwich. Very good and delicious, the staff was friendly and welcoming

A fantastic gem hidden away in a shopping centre. The cafe offers beautiful views over Amsterdam city centre. The food and drinks were served promptly and the quality was good. You pay a little more (understandable for the view), but it is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Amsterdam.

A great place with an awesome view over Amsterdam. The prices are very affordable and to my surprise the place was not crowded and it was quite easy to book a table. Definitely recommending even if you want to find a cozy place to read a book or just chill with your friends. The staff is very friendly.

In a recent trip to Amsterdam we came to discover this wonderful restaurant, it was a beacon of quietness and peace in Amsterdam. Good food, good service, good options and why not a good ambient with a lovely air conditioner. But maybe the highlight of this restaurant is the view where you can see Amsterdam from the ample windows. If you visit the flower market, I strongly suggest to visit this restaurant ans enjoy the food with a view.

Great views! Waiters are very nice. Food was not great through. If you are ordering a burger make super sure you mention how you wanted done. I forgot to mention, the waiter did not ask and I ended up having to not eat half of the burger because it was basically raw meat. I'm sure if you ask for it to be well done they will make it. Other than that it was nice. The last 2 pictures are from the second floor of the restaurant which was not open to the public at that time (the toilets are there which is how I got too see the even nicer view from there).

Of course lovely 'over' views of Amsterdam, but their food is just as good. Lovely and friendly service, clean bathrooms, and had myself a 'Lamb Ham with fennel seeds a twist of flavor I've never had and a refreshing tangy Agua de Jamaica to drink. Prices were not that bad, ocnsidering the quality, location and...it being Amsterdam at parking garage rates of €1,60 per 15 minutes.

Nice place - would have given it more stars but we were not able to sit on the top floor with the better views even with a reservation first thing in morning on a Saturday the area was closed off and then opened later. We would have made our reservations accordingly as we were coming for the view. French toast was so delicious, shakshuka was just ok as the egg was not poached and overcooked/hard. Great coffee.

The view is panoramic but not so impressive, the place are ok but not warm welcoming, the food was good but nothing extra. the price quite high.

Beautiful, and a bit hidden, bar where you can enjoy the view from the top of Amsterdam! Too bad that it closes at 18, because it's such a nice spot to chill at the end of a full day. But the staff was so nice to let us enjoy a drink even if we arrived 30 minutes before closing time. I would recommend for sure!

It was really cool to experience such a good place to eat and chill. I ordered kind of set, it includes: lemonade, soup, sandwiches and tea/coffee. The food was really good and the staff responded quickly. This place has a breathtaking view. I truly recommend

Nice food and good view but very cramped and slow service. Came here for lunch in a Saturday as we got 25% of with The I Amsterdam city card. Food was nice and bacon and eggs was fluffy and silky. Fries were nice but tiny. Drinks were good too. About €85 for three people for lunch. It’s walk in only on weekends and it was busy, we waited 10 mins for a table but they are super close together and feel cramped and service was slow took over 40 mins to get food. Nice way to see the city from a view point.

Spontaneously went for lunch at Blue. We had to wait for a long time, but it was worth for the view and food. Ordered a delicious blue cheese burger! Unexpectedly surprised and would love to go back some time.

Very beautiful location with a lovely view on Amsterdam. The access to the restaurant is from inside the shopping center. There is a lift that connects to the restaurant. The food was good, especially the apple tart. It was crowded when we got there and there weren’t many tables. I would recommend booking in advance.

Very nice panoramic view, great location and very nice atmosphere and decor. The place is a little confusing to find if you are a tourist for the first time in Amsterdam as it is hidden in a Shopping Mall called Kalver Passage. The elevator to go up is very cool. We stopped by for tea time with friends as we had tried to book a table but were unable to get a reservation on the phone and it was full on the spot. It is quite a pricey place due to the location and view.

Went there for drinks and to see the view. Amazing spot to see whole city. Had a mojito and it was refreshing. Expected to wait long time but it was actually big enough so waited about 5-10mins to be seated on the weekend. Didn’t have any foods so not sure.

we went for lunch on 04/16/2022, with a group and we had booked the 12:00 time. The service is TERRIBLE, the most traditional dish in the restaurant took a long time to arrive. The employee all the time said " calm down, calm down " and I complained about the hamburger that was taking too long and she said " if you want it fast " go to MacDonalds... I found the kitchen filthy. luxury on the floor, laundry of the kitchen staff, dirty! horrible! Note 0!

Nice and tasty sandwiches, good brownie, a rather mediocre coffee, but that's my struggle everywhere in Amsterdam X) Amazing view though! Must be great for a cocktail date during sunset.

Accidentally found the place and were very pleased to have lunch there. Beautiful view, friendly service and most importantly the attention of the staff to your special requests. For instance, if you are lactose or gluten intolerant they can make a special dish out of the ingredients for you.
