One night stay. Michelin-starred restaurant-with-rooms. We stayed in one of their spacious garden pavilion suites. Which have a lounge area and patio. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a bath with a TV. Almost all rooms are pet-friendly. As it was such a glorious, sunny afternoon, we took a short walk to Morston Quay. Our doggies loved it, having a paddle and being able to cool off. At night, canapés are served in the lounge or in the lavender-scented garden. Breakfast is served in the conservatory. Cooked Breakfast Choice of Free Range Eggs. Smoked Bacon, Pork Sausage, Black pudding, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried bread. Using local produce and served with warm welcoming service. You couldn't hope for somewhere more comfortable to stay.

Dinner The conservatory looking out over the garden. This is the main reason to come to Morston Hall. Top notch cooking, which comprises a seven-course dinner. Smoked Salmon Parsley Caviar Garden Pea Tartlet Avocado Terrine Cucumber Cauliflower Velouté Marmite Chives Sourdough Pressed Ox Cheek Smoked Pomme Purée Girolles Grated Parmesan Truffle Miso Glazed Aubergine Chickpea Tahini Hung Yoghurt Coriander Kombu Lobster Claw Ravioli Sea Purslane Citrus Gel Shellfish Bisque Turbot Beetroot Fondant Turned Asparagus Stuffed Roscoff Onion Lemon Posset Gooseberry Sorbet White Chocolate Crumb Champagne Mousse Sharrington Raspberries Raspberry Sorbet Pigeon was the main course, but we asked if it could be changed to a fish dish. Yes, we are those diners. No problem for the kitchen as we were served the most delightful Turbot dish. Chef patron Chef Galton and his team knows how to treat their guests and offers a truly memorable experience.

I had been looking forward to our visit to Morston Hall for a long time and it did not disappoint. On the edge of beautiful national trust coastline we started our stay with a long walk. The room was lovely with all the touches you needed. The bathroom was well appointed (but I'm not sure it needed the TV!). We had drinks to start in the cosy lounge then our dinner in the conservatory, which was a beautiful room. There was a brilliantly accessible 4 page wine list. A real treat as usually these are too long. Service was helpful. The food was traditional but inventive, using seasonal ingredients. Sourcing seemed responsible with much from the UK but not obviously local ro the area (from the menu). It was a tasting menu and very enjoyable. Highlights were the asparagus and fish courses. The desserts were incredible. Do visit.

Galton and the team put on a stunning set menu and brilliant breakfast. Room was perfect for a one night stay and had everything we needed, even a bath with jacuzzi-style jets. Great location near the north Norfolk coast.

We went here to celebrate my birthday and tried their tasting lunch menu. What can we say? That just it's one of the best tasting menus we've ever had. You can understand why they have a Michekin star. Everything -- every course they put out -- was nothing short of amazing. They also take time to explain what the dish is. Aside from that, Morston Hall is a lovely venue with a lot of greenery. We are already thinking of coming back!

We've stayed here a few times over the years. This was our second time staying in the main house. Comfortable enough but I didn't sleep very well due to poor quality pillows. I should have asked for more I know. Evening dinner was superbly prepared but service wasn't without its niggles. Three wines chosen from the wine-list were unavailable and then being asked if they could take our wine order when it had already been taken. This happened a few times during our stay and obviously shows a lack of communication between staff. The Sommelier seemed to have limited knowledge and the young lady on reception came across as slightly surly. The highlight was us spending quite a lot of time talking to and being shown around the grounds by the Head Gardener. He was superb!

Stayed for a night in the small double which was very nice, clean and well equipped. A soft bed. Had dinner in the Michelin restaurant with the wine flight, again all very good. The Sommelier made some excellent choices to go with the already great food. The breakfast the next morning was also very nice. Would definitely recommend.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay here, what can I say.... we were blown away from 1st arrival. The room was fabulous, lovely fluffy towels & bath robes, huge bath and separate shower & super (large) comfy bed. The food was exquisite, and to top it all off the main man himself, Galton (in his whites) spent a lot of time front of house talking to guests and talking us through the menu. This is not to take anything away from the rest of the staff, who were simply amazing. There is no stuffiness whatsoever, it has a relaxed feeling throughout, you really feel like a house guest rather than a customer. We cannot recommend the place high enough. We will for sure be back.

My husband and I chose to celebrate our first wedding anniversary at Morston Hall and chose the dine and dream option. Our experience at Morston Hall was very special and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and had everything you could need! Our only slight issue with the room was the pillows, we found them very flat and small, especially considering the size of the bed. It would have been nice if there had been some extra, larger pillows in the wardrobe. Otherwise, no issues at all. The dinner part of our stay was definitely the highlight. We've never eaten food like that and the whole experience was just amazing! The staff were incredibly helpful and informative and the food itself was incredible. We would love to come back again to see what is on the menu next time! Definitely an experience to remember.

Wonderful afternoon tea, in a truly beautiful setting, we had a wonderful gentleman (Tudor) look after us, and he was absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious too. Great service, great food, great view

Had a lovely dinner whilst on holiday in Norfolk. Food was fantastic, especially the Tempura Halibut. Wine pairing with dinner was very good. The whole team was welcoming and attentive. Thank you 👍

We had a lovely dinner at Morston Hall. General vibe was relaxed refinement and I thought the food and front of house combined to execute this mood perfectly. It was nice to see the Head Chef talking to all the tables and clearly demonstrated great passion for his food. I felt the tasting menu was good value considering the quality of the dishes. My personal favourites were a Katsu Scallop stater and a wonderful Halibut dish. The fish was served with salmon cavier and peas - the visual effect from the well-matched colours and shapes made this a beautiful dish on the plate. We had a decent bottle of Picpoul and a couple of glasses for the beef and desserts. The Pinotage was really good, the Tokaji even better. Special mention to our waiter Max, who was just starting out in his career. His enthusiasm and knowledge were great. Wish him lots of success in hospitality, a natural.

This was a birthday treat for me, it is somewhere I have wanted to go for ages and my expectations were very high. Unfortunatly I came away underwhelmed. The monkfish was overcooked as were two elements of the duck dish. The setting is lovely and the staff were very professional.

Fabulous 7 course Michelin star tasting menu. Attentive staff, knowledgeable of each course and passionate about wine list. Service slow, and exceptionally long. Expensive for what you get.

We stayed in one of the garden rooms which was delightful. Our own private patio, lounge area and wonderful luxury bathroom with a wet room shower and TV! The 7 course tasting menu was superb and breakfast in the morning perfect.

This is for us the absolute best of the best for a culinary/wine/ Hotel experience. Not cheap yet value for money. You absolutely get what you pay for in this complete experience, love it.

I cannot review the food or service because we were unable to book a celebratory event recently. The management informed us that children are not welcome to these lunches. The rationale is people want to enjoy their little special moments without children disturbing it. This is a bizarre attitude. We booked instead at the Globe Inn @ Wells. They were super child, dog & family friendly. The food was superb. We also booked at Socious which was super amazing with much better food & service than we receive in some top London restaurants

The food was amazing! I also loved hearing the hundreds of geese in the neighbouring area. Very convenient for seal trips as it only takes 5 minutes to walk to Morston Quay.

Dinner was excellent (high quality tasting menu and attentive service). Our bedroom was very ordinary and quite noisy (especially with window open thanks to the sound of a boiler or similar outside). Breakfast was OK but service at breakfast was poor. Overall it was expensive (£630 for 2 inc drinks) which I feel would have needed better accommodation to be warranted.

Great meal, expensive for what you get. We did the taster Menu with Wine pairing. Service was good but slow. Staff were very friendly and helpful, knowledgeable. Be prepared for a long evening, we arrived at 5.30pm, canapés at 6pm and didn't leave till 10.10pm.

Service and food like we have not experienced before. At a different level. Such attention to detail. Amazing experience, to be repeated for sure. Top quality has clearly not gone out of fashion.

The head Chef at this restaurant is the rudest most inconsiderate human being ive ever met, one of the servers was brutally yelled at infront of our table. Very snotty stuck up person.

Had a very fine Sunday Tasting Menu. We arrived at 12:15 and enjoyed a double Morston Hall Gin and Tonic. Then we chose a bottle of Merlot from the wine menu. Then at one o’clock a amuse Bouche arrived. This was followed by the Mushroom Veloute. Then the Beef with Yorkshire Pudding and Roasties. To finish we had Cherry Bakewell Tart. Every morsel of food was deliciously good and presented beautifully. Throughout the service the attention to detail and curtesy of the staff was exemplary.

Fantastic food, staff, accommodation. Can't fault a thing. Value for money. Will be back, later this year. Will make our 6th visit in 6 years. And will be booking again.

Food is exceptional. Service is first class, the staff are attentive but not stuffy. Room was huge and exceptionally clean. Gardens are beautifully maintained. Rooms are looking a little dated now but are clean, warm, quiet and comfortable.

Enjoyed it immensely, good food (if you like fine dine and taster menu) host and staff marvelous, room very good and just a really good atmosphere, most dishes were excellent with one or two a try for the palate and thought provoking (I had to finish off a couple my wife's) but overall! Go on treat yourself We did.

We were celebrating my brothers birthday as a party of six (two vegetarians). Four of the party had eaten here before and enjoyed it. Myself and my husband were first timers. We thoroughly enjoyed all the different experiences of each course. The people who described the food and served us were professional but friendly. The experience could have been intimidating but we all enjoyed the opportunity to indulge in a relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try something special. It has inspired us to go forth and try more delicious food with confidence in the future.
