Super duper happy every time we visit this little quaint cafe. They have really nice coffee and matcha, with a limited selection of pastries. They also have great view over the park and the Art Museum. Very recommended to pay a visit!

Beautiful location with expert skilled baristas! Menu was very simple and it was very easy to order. The craftsmanship is fantastic and I would recommend anyone to visit! Seating can be a little tight but the aesthetics are worth it.

This cafe is where I get my coffee fix every morning. The friendly team always gives me good coffee and vibe. I strongly recommend their Salmon bagel it is the best in town!

The baristas at Kompass Coffee are some of the friendliest and most talented I've had the pleasure of meeting! Sam creates beautiful latte art, my favourite was his shiba dog :) Great food and coffee with immaculate vibes!

Great coffee and friendly service! There are also a few food options if you’ve got a craving. Perfect spot to stop by before going to the Art Gallery or Albert’s Park.

Great drinks, great service. Pastries were very nice too. Would highly recommend. The space is small so you have to be lucky to get a seat, but that's part of its charm :)

Just had some iced tea here which was refreshing, great atmosphere for a drink and pastry. A bit on the pricey side however.

One of the must visit café in town!! Latte art from the barista is a masterpiece 🤌🏻🤌🏻Most importantly, the members of the staff are the nicest people I've ever met.

Would return. Clean aesthetic, generous pastry selection, interesting drinks. Coffee is good. Pricing is par. Mocha - pretty good, not too sweet. Good cocoa. Not too much seating, doesn't take AMEX. $6.2 for a Mocha.

Amazing coffee and the artwork was litteraly the most coolest thing ever. Very cute, small coffee shop in cbd but has a great range and quite reasonable. Friendly staff and great service. Definitely a great place to check out for a coffee or a snack. :)

Wonderful staff and tasty treats. So close to the gallery and park. I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful they were to make us feel welcome while eating such a simple treat (muffins and Anzac bikkies).

Highly recommend Kompass! Super friendly staff with delicious, consistent coffee and fast service. Love the chill vibes and atmosphere. Also, really appreciate that u can pick the sweetness of your matcha as many places don’t have that option 🍵 <3

This is easily the best coffee in Auckland. We loved every single one of our visits to Kompass Coffee. Based off of our many photos, I think it’s clear to see that we were thoroughly impressed by the expert latte art (and it tasted as good as it looked!). The gentleman who was presumably the owner was extremely kind, accommodating and welcoming. We are very grateful we found this lovely business! We will definitely be back when we visit again from Australia! Thank you.

By far my favorite Café! A lovely place to take a break and taste a delicious coffee with an almond croissant. The staff is super friendly, and Sam the Barista is a sensational artist with the coffee.

I ordered a matcha latte yesterday (which was delicious) and when the barista brought it over to me, she spilled a little bit on the plate under the cup on accident. I didn’t mind, told her it was okay and not to worry about it, but a few minutes later she brought over another one she’d made because she said she felt bad about spilling the first one. It was so nice and unexpected, there really was no need but that gesture alone was so kind and showed how lovely their customer service is at Kompass Coffee. I will definitely be back. Thank you! :)

The matcha here is so great, I have now tried all matcha drinks here and they are all great. It isn't to sweet and the matcha is not watered down at all. Great place with great drinks

The black sesame coffee is my go to drink! Absolutely delicious! It's such a unique flavour, I haven't seen it anywhere else in Auckland. The staff here are always super friendly and down for a chat. Hospitality is +++ and the atmosphere is lovely. Kompass is a great place to go to with friends and so close to Albert Park!!

I went in earlier today and the lady and guy working there were so nice and very lovely!!! I got a matcha latte with coconut milk, a black sesame cream latte and a matcha croissant all very yummy and the croissant was nice and crispy after I got it toasted. I'm not a huge coffee person but the black sesame latte was nice and not bitter so I liked it and the matcha they use is nice too. Sorry I don't have any photos of what I got because I ate it straight away HAHAHHA but It is pretty close to uni too so I'll be back again when I can!

Nice black coffee & cappuchino. ☕️🥐The cafe maybe not suitable for long chit chatting, quite small, sometimes many customers.

Next to that all the staff are very kind. If you, like me, come there more often they will remember you (and your order) and will ask questions about your daily life. I recommend you to visit it for at least once. You can pay by cash or by card.

Coffee and drinks were both really good, and the addition of latte art made this place worth coming back again. Only small downside is that it tends to be quite full all the time and may be hard to find seats.
