Cute corner cafe in Gastown! Good cappuccino and apple cake…would love to come back and try their pizza and pasta!

Italian style cafes like this seem pretty rare in Vancouver and this spot definitely does it the right way! I tried the pizza and had a double espresso and thought both were very good. The pizza style isn’t made with a lot of sauce, it’s mainly about the bread quality and toppings which were exceptional. The espresso is strong, as normal in these type of cafes. The cafe has a very fun interior, which made me feel like I was back in the Italian district in San Francisco. I would for sure come back to the cafe to try the sandwiches or go to the attached restaurant for the pasta next time! 🇮🇹 🍕 ☕️

Very cute cafe, everything was so tasty and is very aesthetic for pics. I did have a good time drinking a latte and eating a croissant which was delicious, I really recommend this place!

One of the best spots to grab a coffee in the morning with a nice selection of Italian sandwiches and pastries. In the evening it becomes a great spot to grab a pizza and quality authentic pasta!

We found this cafe while walking around in cold. Their coffee was to die for, i work in Gastown still never been to this place. Discovering this place was so exciting. The coffee was good, people were good the atmosphere is good. They are maintaining all the Covid protocols inside. And their coffee is not even expensive! 🥰 would definitely visit again and again.

Food Quality 5 ⭐️ Atmosphere & Vibe 5 ⭐️ Service 3⭐️ and that’s being generous The lasagna was incredible - best ever!!!! The pizza so delish The tiramisu and gelato were heavenly Travis the server - was not welcoming, friendly or polite…it was like a drive through service. Totally dismissive and disrespectful. Not sure he loves his job, if I was the manager I’d observe how he interacts with clients. I am not sure that I would return here, especially with business clients…. Service is everything….

We had such a great dinner here! Ordered the large 1 metre long pizza (marinated octopus one), a bowl of pasta (anchovies) and an order of meatballs. Great food and a nice, cozy restaurant. This is a great spot so make sure you check them out! If you like coffee, they also have a cafe side which is open during the day.

I didn't find this to be as great as the reviews hyped it up to be. The ambience is nice, but only nice. It felt like a supe casual restaurant and the seats weren't very comfortable. When we asked our server for wine recommendations, she didn't really tell us much about the menu and we resorted to google translate to figure out red vs rose vs white, etc. She then told us the obvious of glass vs bottle pricing. I was really disappointed. The pizza isn't my favourite as I generally prefer thin crust and this isn't that. I found the pasta carbonara to be really standard and not special at all. They don't add extra freshly ground pepper or Parmesan to the pasta.... Meh... Not sure what's up with the reviews.. It's ok but not great.

Great price and vibe! I think I came during happy hour 3-6 pm and the total was only $8. This is a great cafe for reading and people watching. I’m not really a coffee/caffeine person so the latte was really bitter for me, but that’s likely because I don’t drink coffee.

Very delicious and fresh cookies and coffee. They only had one size for coffee cups which was really small for its price.

Absolutely LOVE Di Beppe and their coffees. The energy and vibe is awesome and they have really friendly staff. I will definitely be stopping in again soon!

😍😍😍 Lovely cafe! The front part is a casual cafe with sitting & standing tables, and the back seems to be a more formal restaurant. I ordered a DELICIOUS affogato (best one I've had in Vancouver imo) & a yummy pesto ham (I believe) sandwich which the super nice servers toasted for me. The atmosphere reminded me of Europe & I appreciate their reasonable prices for their location. Although I've yet to try their restaurant, I'd happily recommend this place to people coming to this area

Such a lovely place! They have the best focaccias and pizzas. Also have the traditional sweets and coffees, but flourless options as well. Very Italianesque. Staff is kind and pleasant. They have pretty flowers on the tables! Price is not bad either.

Incredible coffee and pastries with welcoming staff and a charming atmosphere. Probably one of the best coffee shops in the area, which is no small feat considering how many there are.

I've been a regular here for almost 6 months now. I've been around the block and this is honestly my favorite café. The coffee and food are excellent, but I can get food or coffee anywhere in Vancouver. The people here stand out to me. Friendly, welcoming, and always up for a chat. The team here really deserve quite a bit of credit. I'm Irish, I love banter, and I adore real people who are down to earth. I've a lot of love for this place, and the people who work here. I've been away from home for quite some time, so it's very nice to have somewhere other than my own workplace that I can visit where people know me by my first name. I don't live close by, but this café feels like my 'local'. It's a like a small slice of Europe :) On another note, a lovely gentleman named Jaden always provides outstanding service, even refilling my glass of water on occasion! 9/10 Service because he forgot my order one time though :/

Latte was a little bit too bitter (more than usual for me) I like the vibe , nice plants everywhere. I didn't try any pastry, may get back to try their food as well.

I went twice to this place. First time I had cappacino and it was so good. Second time I returned back to try their pizza and it turned out to be sooooo good. They have lovely outdoor seating where you can see the pizza Preps ☺️so cool. Love the place

I have been coming to Di Beppe Cafe very often ever since I first discovered it a month ago. This is an interesting place with its colourful paintings and unique light fixtures. The tables are all separated by plexiglass and the staff always sanitizes the tables and chairs, even the doors after a customer leaves. I really appreciate their efforts to keep us all safe. I usually get the fresh Americano coffee and breakfast croissant. The veggie pizza is full of flavour and very tasty, but a little too much olive oil. This is definitely my go-to place whenever I am in Gastown. P.S. They recently set up a beautiful outdoor seating area, it’s very nice.

It’s a real pity I have to leave this review, but we got a polenta tea cake and a Sfogliatelle from Di Beppo, and both were just awful. The Sfogliatelle was by far the worst pastry I have had in my life. The filling tasted like orange pedialyte & the shell was hard and tasteless. The polenta tea cake tasted like simple syrup+ salt :/

Adorable little place, with the most amazing coffee - so reasonably priced too! And the little biscotti (forgive me if I'm wrong) on the side is such a sweet touch. My son is the one who introduced me to the place. Took a friend yesterday and she loved it. Thank you!

Di Beppe has been consistently awesome each time I’ve gone with one of my dear friends. The environment is welcoming, the staff is kind, friendly and do their job well, the food is always good, and the coffee is good. Love going for rainy days especially, and will probably always go to this place every so often.

Nice cafe! Love their mocha! A bit spacey and staff can be more friendly.

This review is for the Caffè side (coffee and desserts). It's very overrated, and I would not recommend it. The service was poor, and the drinks and dessert were average-to-weak. This is no better than a coffee chain like JJ Bean or Trees. Quite disappointing actually.
