There
are
plenty
of
parts
that
make
up
this
square
and
plenty
of
activities
that
take
place
in
this
square
which
make
it
a
great
place
to
be.
In
the
summer
there
is
a
farmer's
market
on
Thursdays
and
events
just
about
every
weekend
from
movies
to
music
to
food.
Did
you
know
that
there
are
two
concrete
table
tennis
tables
here
for
your
free
use?
Bring
your
own
paddle
and
balls
and
have
a
laugh
or
two.
Then
relax
by
the
fountain
along
Yonge
St
and
listen
to
the
sound
of
the
running
water
or
how
about
at
the
fountain
at
the
lower
level
by
the
reflecting
pool?
There
is
a
stage
and
surrounding
amphitheatre
seating
for
performances.
Tree
lined
sidewalks
with
benches
and
tables
are
waiting
for
you
to
enjoy
your
lunch
at
during
the
work
week.
There
are
little
grassy
areas
and
a
small
flower
garden
too.
North
York
Civic
Centre
and
the
incredible
North
York
Central
Library
surround
part
of
the
square.
Tucked
behind
the
library
is
the
Douglas
Snow
Aquatic
Centre.
Food
trucks
and
restaurants
abound
in
the
area
but
I'll
throw
out
a
special
mention
for
truck
Taste
of
the
Tropics
for
its
jerk
chicken
meal.
The
large
size
which
typically
comes
with
two
thighs
and
a
drumstick,
with
rice
and
beans,
and
a
side
of
either
macaroni
or
cole
slaw
is
absolutely
delicious
and
satisfies,
don't
forget
a
dash
of
One
Drop
pepper
sauce.
For
the
price
(you
can
use
credit/debit
cards),
it
is
one
of
the
very
best
meal
deals
you
can
find
in
the
city
and
the
sweet
lady
in
the
truck
and
her
cook
have
built
a
nice
commumity
of
lunch
people
here.
In
winter
the
reflecting
pond
becomes
a
great
spot
for
skating.
Enjoy!
