I'm a working mom with 2 kids with very busy schedule after school and weekends. We want to try fencing during Christmas holiday to see if the kids will like fencing because from Dec22-Jan6 we have more free time. On Nov 19 Monday I called to ask about this school's holiday schedule and other information because I know nothing about fencing and this school. The owner told me if we start at the last week of the month they can offer a quarter of the monthly unlimited price of $140, so we can pay $35/child for unlimited group class for the last week of December. I totally understand even January we can only attend the 1st week unlimited we still have to pay $140 for Jan. However when I called on Nov 21 Wed noon time, the owner said they have to charge $30/child per group class if I want to attend all 9 group classes available from Dec 22- Jan 6. That's not a problem, I understand prices and promotions may change. My most disappointment is the owner actually told me he does not want us to attend his school at all, he told me to go somewhere else, which I find extremely rude and sad. I don't understand why he said that to me. Is it because my caller ID displayed a Chinese last name? Is it because we cannot commit long term to his school before even trying? Very disappointed, Very sad, Very unsatisfied.

My son is very excited to learn fencing in Toronto Fencing Academy Sword Players. Igor and David are both amazing trainers. Nice environment and professional approach. It’s definitely a good place for kids to learn fencing.

Coaches are great and people are friendly in the club. The price is also fair. Igor is terrific not only at transferring fencing skills, but also guiding fencers in the tournaments. That's why there are so many good players there.

That place is amazing!As a mother of three,I have experience with many types of activities and i’v met many teachers and instructors.The atmosphere that teachers and owner created there is just to good.And there are patient with kids and have unique rewarding system. Igor and David are excellent coaches and mentors. My son's level of satisfaction at this club makes our 45 minute drive worthwhile.

We've been here three times for team building workshops with our company and it's been a fantastic experience every time. The facility is well equipped and very clean too! Arseni and the other instructors are always very patient with us and really put in a great deal of effort to make sure everyone's engaged. Overall, I'd recommend Sword Player for both kids and adults. We'll definitely be back!! Thanks guys :)

their wednesday night open tournaments are a good way to put your fencing skills to the test and even a way to learn something new from other fencers.

The best fencing academy my brother went her and he was the best player there and now I go there I like the coaches and I will really recommend

Very fine and clean fencing academy. Coach Igor is very knowledgeable and pays immaculate attention to detail, the love he has for the sport of fencing shines through. Would reccomend this fencing academy to anyone interested in the sport.
