Got to Passport Canada at 6:45AM; doors opened and we were let inside at 7:20AM thankfully. Now I am at the kiosks and there are 2 functioning kiosks and staff keep taking breaks and NOT servicing anyone. It’s 10:10 AM each of the staff left for at least 20 minute duration. No wonder people cannot get there passports and there are horrible line ups! Get it together. Shameful behaviour.

The service was speedy. The passport photoshoot took less than 1 min. The photographer was professional. However, he did not point out my hair was all over the place or to make any “unnecessary” but most likely welcome effort to make sure the photo is visually appealing. If you are looking for an express passport photo service and don’t care that much about how you look on the passport, this is the place to go. ;)

Very impressed with how organized and efficient the staff are at this place. Finally a government office where staff actually are smiling and friendly. I liked the diversity as well in this location within staff. Security guard was very helpful too.

I've been sitting on my PR photo for over five months. I've filled out everything paid the fee. But I couldn't find the right time and place to get my photos taken because of all the considerations surrounding the pandemic. I visited this place today and had my photos taken by Sheila. Using uncompromised to describe her service is an understatement. The whole place is disinfected after every customer. I feel very comfortable taking off my mask to get my photos taken. The whole process took less than 2 minutes. After that, Sheila printed out my photos and proof that the photo taken meets the PR photo requirement, which I can include with my PR application material. I've had many photos taken over the years, and this is the first time I've received proof like this. And of course, the photos themselves are perfect. Sheila showed me the backbone of a local small business, going above and beyond while being considerate at this challenging time. If you need your photos taken and hesitate as I did because of the pandemic, give this place a visit.

After hearing that friends had struggled getting passport photos for their infants approved, I decided to head to North York Passport Photo Centre to get my infant daughter's passport photos done. Boy am I glad I did. Sheila was incredibly knowledgeable and fantastic with me and my daughter. She truly went above and beyond in her service. Highly recommend!

I’ve been having trouble renewing my passport and have been super stressed about the whole situation as I am travelling soon. Yasmin responded to my emails immediately and went out of her way to make me feel a lot better. She’s amazing and a rare gem to come across in this kind of business. Surprised that the process didn't take longer. It's two staged now, there's one room where staff will review your materials, make sure that you have everything in order and give you a ticket with a number. Then you go to a second room where you wait for your number to come up. All in all the process took me about 45 minutes which was much shorter than the last time I had to renew.

This is actually my 3rd time using the North York Photo Center (NYPC) for my family's passport photos. The 1st time I had a rejected photo that I had taken at another retailer and I decided to use the NYPC as I was running low on time. The staff were incredibly informative, knowledgeable and patient with my baby at the time. They're priced competitively and quality is above standard. I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring their services.

The staffs at this location are angels! I lost my passport on the day of my very important flight. Panicking, I thought I wouldn’t make it and despaired. But the staff at the location calmly explained to me the process of getting my passport replaced and offered support beyond just taking photos. Fortunately, I was able to get my passport replaced on the same day to make my flight! 10/10 service as they would go above and beyond to help their customers!

I don't know why someone would go anywhere else to get their passport photos done! Priced competitively to anywhere I've gotten passport photos done in the past, including Shoppers. Sheila's very knowledgeable on what you need for your renewal/application and guarantees her work! If there's a problem, you just go back downstairs and Sheila would re-take your photo (though I've never had to do it) and you don't have to drive back, block time in your calendars and pay for parking again! Sheila's fast, efficient and priced right. I was in and out in under 5 mins!

Very rarely do you find vendors who go over and above to exceed expectations with their customer service; the customer service here is A M A Z I N G. If there is a negative star, I would give them that. Took a passport photo and shop can't issue a receipt for it. Guy was saying that they never issue such receipt and that they were in business for so long and nobody ask for it but me. Passport officer was asking for an original receipt (not a receipt for the credit card) just so they can reimburse me for that $24.95 since Gatineau office made a one letter mistake in my passport.

BEST BEST BEST SERVICE! I wish I could give 6 stars! Sheila at North York Passport Photo went beyond above and beyond! I rushed into 4900 at 3:40PM in a panic with NO photos and in a pure sweat! Sheila hopped to it, handed me a kleenex to wipe the glow off my forehead, had my photos taken, processed and paid for in 3mins - and not only that, she reviewed my application with me, made sure I had all in order, put it all together, gave me inside tips and tricks to make sure all went smooth and calmed me right down! She then pointed me in the right direction, wished me luck and flashed her warm smile! I HIGHLY recommend NYPPC and Sheila should get an award! Thank you SO much!

Sheila is an absolute lifesaver. We were extremely stressed out and needed to get new passports and therefore photos for our 2 children (one of which was a baby) in a day. Passport office is so crowded. You must go there, just in urgent cases and you will be charged for express services. All staff are kind and welcoming.

Most courteous and comprehensive passport photo studio I've been to. Not only does the studio offer photo services for a variety of passport types, but Sheila is very knowledgeable about the latest requirements for passport photos in Canada, and she went above and beyond to make sure that any possible visual issues were avoided.
