I have been going to Doctor Kim's Clinic of Psychiatry since Feb 2002 every week. First I was irritated but it gradually changed as he was my only hope. You must know it takes time for these kinds of things. It's not a magic trick and boom you're cured or you've got the right medicine, no. It doesn't work that way. If you're lucky you could get the right medicine less than 6 months, 2 years, a decade or two. Doctor Kim is well versed in psychiatry. You must trust him and all his instructions. I hope you do.

This man has absolutely NO people skills. I agree with the other poster's comments, he is rude and there is not a single ounce of compassion. Do not waste your time with him. Been there twice and was basically told to leave as soon as I got into the room. Why have appointments booked for patients if you are not going to help them?

I hope he is doing well...havent seen him since 2008 as i found it hard to communicate...i just stopped going ...hope hes well

I've been seeing Dr.Kim for over a year. He has really helped me and I like his style of treatment. I feel like a person not a patient and hes very understanding considering his own situation. Would recommend

Short sessions. Only intends to prescribe medication. Over charges. Arrogant attitude and demeaning during polite "confrontations".

Dr is knowledgeable about medications and polite. Told me I could call anytime. I liked him :)

Best doctor ever. You gotta be patient like a good patient. Dr. Kim has over 37 years of experience, and you need to respect that.

What is the point of him having a patient if he is not going to listen to the patient.. He will just ask you a random questions.. and let you go with a bunch of prescriptions. I will never ever go to this place.. Such a waste of time and money.

I was a patient of Dr Kim's .The experience was horrifying I have post traumatic stress syndrome due to the ministry of health who funds our psychiatrists so it's a little bit of a conflict of interest.One day I told Dr Kim I was feeling more depressed I needed to raise my antidepressant he wrote the prescription than he told me harshly I won't be seeing you again your cured goodbye . It was an absolute nightmare no I don't recommend Dr Kim.

The psychiatrist is not a caring or compassionate man. He is disabled and cannot move, so you would think he would be more compassionate to the suffering of his patients.There will be at least TWO other people in the room. The nurse that is giving him oxygen and one that is writing down everything. It is a bit depressing and very intrusive as he keep asking the same question twice to give her time to write things down. Surprisingly from a man who is so sick he has no compassion or understanding of other people. Don't bother going there, you will be disappointed and leave feeling worse than when you came in

He prescribed me and my sister who are both under the age of 19 high dose harsh stimulants. I went through rehab and finally got my life back on track. He seems to prescribe harsh drugs very easily, not being wary of side effects.
