Good service for a Sunday morning in overall. My Eggs Benedict were good as for my coffee ☕️ no so much, let's say ther is room for improvement. Also ordered a burger 🍔. Medium well was right on ✅️

Fine- only had Texas Toast French Toast & 2 eggs over easy. All was fine. 3 eggs over easy with home fries. Great eggs- home fries are always very mushy, cooked too long ago? The crepe pancake filled with apple compote was ok- the golden grape raisins are overpowering on the flavor - going to ask next time for no raisins. Friendly service. 12/1/22 Enjoyed an order of Blueberry Pancakes- Yum 4/30 Eggs and pancakes were delicious. Great service. 10/20 Very Good Prime Rib, Baked Potato, Carrots, Clam Chowder and the Service was genuinely friendly and efficient. Thank you!

Good, simple, breakfast food. Chef took time to cook it properly and made for a nice meal. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. Bill was under $40 for two people. They also serve lunch and dinner.

I walked in at mid morning. Empty parking lot. One lone patron at a table. No hostess. No greeter. Two waitresses sitting at a booth. The cash register showed a sign “Wait to be seated.” So I waited. I had to ask if the diner was open. I was told,”Of course. What do you think.” Finally a “hostess” showed up to seat me. The other patron looked at me from his adjacent booth and said, “I asked the same question.” I had entered prepared to order breakfast but the smell of the place made me think twice. I ordered coffee. The black liquid in the cup was hot and may have been coffee in some previous existence but no longer. I added milk which turn the liquid to a grey sludge. I actually tried to take a sip from the cup but as soon as it touched my lips I had to abandon that effort. HORRIBLE. I rose from my booth just as some man (the owner maybe) emerged from the kitchen. He did not seem at all surprised when I told him that his “coffee” was undrinkable. I declined his offer for “something else”

Random stop to avoid 95 traffic and felt like a time warp for the authentic retro decor. Nice little place, service was quick and food decent too. Would like better lighting in the parking lot but loved the old pay phone!📞

Excellent. The same quality as my first visit 20 years ago. Price was good. Clean and people are friendly. Hungry? Stop here.

This is my favorite Connecticut diner. I love Penny's. The Yankee bean soup and the split pea soup are both delicious. Moreover this diner isn't overpriced like some of the other Connecticut diners. Great diner. My favorite waiter is Nantu.

Amazing diner. This was our first time coming and it certainly won’t be the last. We had our drinks within 2 minutes of ordering, our server was awesome (he even brought me water before I could ask) and our food was delicious, we got it within 10 minutes of ordering and the entire diner was full of people. Excellent service, excellent staff, excellent food. I would rate this diner 100 stars if I could. Our server Jshim is awesome!!!!!

Very nice place to go eat.stop in on the way back home from new York. We had breakfast there and the coffee was really good food was good as well. If it wasn't so far from my home i would stop in and eat there again. They have a good size menu and portions are of good size

The food is rich, and heavy. Their clam chowder is delicious but really thick and creamy which isn't for everyone. The salads are more dressing than greens. If you're trying to be healthy this may not be the place for it but if you are just craving that good old diner experience then you've found it.

While in Connecticut, my conrad and I stopped at this place. It was a good call all around. It had a quaint and quiet diner feel with a nice view out of the window during a sunny day. We had the burger and fries and it was prepare very well. I would of had another one but I had to watch my girlish figure. Service was excellent. Great place to bring freinds and family. Very nice place and very worthy of a return visit!

Got there the manager acknowledged us and rang up customer. Then instead of seating us he rang up another customer. Then for the 3rd time he ignored us for being seated. It wasn't worth the wait because he just wanted to take money. He could of just given us a menu and told us to sit at an empty table. Don't go there it sucks.

The service was good, but the lady was asking for more money because the water was it free she was charging for the water seven dollars here. Also the bacon egg and cheese was dry as af.

Great food, family fun and super friendly environment!! Everyone from the patrons to the management were amazingly polite! Recommended 8 days of the week!
