First
off
the
surrounding
are
spectacular,
the
building
and
gardens
have
been
revamped
to
perfection.
There
were
some
gaps
in
service
and
some
slightly
odd
anomalies
like
menus
not
being
taken
away,
but
this
is
to
be
expected
when
they
have
just
opened
and
the
team
get
up
to
speed.
The
food
was
Sunday
lunch
and
it
was
very
good!
The
meat
both
pork
and
lamb
was
very
tender,
the
vegetables
nicely
cooked
and
not
just
boiled
and
watery.
Kids
meals
were
very
big
and
they
enjoyed
them.
Only
slight
disappointment
was
the
Yorkshire
puddings
didn't
seem
to
be
made
in
house,
and
it
was
a
little
odd
to
get
them
with
what
we
thought
was
a
Lamb
and
Gnocchi
meal
(but
turned
out
was
a
traditional
Sunday
lunch
with
potatoes
replaced
with
black
gnocchi).
One
other
slight
issue
for
us
was
the
music
was
too
loud,
it
got
louder
part
way
through
the
meal
(louder
album
probably)
and
was
not
adjusted
down,
but
it
made
conversation
strained.
Presentation
wise
i
think
the
food
could
be
a
little
better,
the
Lunch
was
tidily
plated,
but
at
the
prices
could
have
had
a
little
more
flair.
The
prices
are
at
the
top
end,
and
i
do
expect
very
good
food
with
some
extra
special
touches,
which
is
what
i
think
i
got,
it
could
just
do
with
a
little
push
to
get
it
over
the
line.
Again
overall
it
was
their
opening
weekend
and
i
thought
they
did
a
fantastic
job
and
i
will
return!
When
I
do
I
am
sure
I
will
be
adjusting
this
review
to
5
stars.
