Been using the charity for many years after some online research "Muslim hands charity rating" and seeing generally higher ratings compared to average charities. More than 5 water charities with reports and pictures of plaques in multiple countries received. More than 10 orphans with regular reports and informed of any changes to circumstances. Other one-off initiatives seem to have delivered all the promises. Apart from this, quite responsive across the years by email or phone.. While I cannot attest to the governance and internal workings of the charity, in comparison to others I have experienced in UK and abroad they seem to be one of the top in terms of charity delivery

Why do you send people knocking on our doors 😗+ it's Scaring as we Can't trust anyone nowadays 🤔, The gentleman kept demanding 😡.... Your organisation should only be online oh local shops have the charity boxes... Not Knocking on our doors was very scary as I was home a lone + I have mobility issues. Hope you understand this message...

Why all the negative reviews. If you donate, do you want Muslim hands to walk with a plaque with your photos and name on it. Surely Allah swt will give the reward. Donated many times never had a problem. Great work from theMR Hasnain and the team 👍👍👍

the chairman of muslim hands is very deviant and sly. he supports and endorses the 'majestic quran' translation by mr musharraf and has used money from muslim hands to distribute this false translation of the quran. he went to the meeting in which top scholars from UK said this translation of the quran was false. an agreement list was set up and signed by the parties. the chairman of MH has this document which he is hiding. if the chairman is doing this, no wonder there are no many negative comments about his staff here

I have waited nearly a year for my orphans report and i haven't received anything. I have called/emailed several different staff members on countless occasions, they alsways say they will notify the orphans team, finally after 7 months they said it's ready and they will send it off by E-mail and post, lo and behold Still haven't received anything. what a shame. They contact me when it comes to new appeals and other promotions but when i have a single query it's not dealt with at all. This organisation seems like a business more than a charity. I do not recommend this company.

I would say i have had a very poor experience with muslim hands and i would not recommend anyone to join an unorganised punch of no good for nothing brothers who can not respect other sisters, we was bullied not even given water by these brothers of muslim hands, brother uddin was so concerned about the charity money more dan anything but could not give a flying toss or the safety of all the muslim sisters that were walking the snowden walk on 20th April 2019..i will be making an official complaint against this organisation..Allah swt is watching what you brothers are doing,im so ashamed of you guys

Extremely poor experience with them. THEY ARE NOT responding to emails and calls and not meeting their promises. I truly and honestly question their honestly now with handling people money as a charity. I will never use again. I would not recommend it, better choose more reliable and decent charity.

Very dissatisfied with the service provided. Been over a year and my donation still has not been used. Not told how your money is been spent and where. Decided to donate elsewhere.

For more than 12 years i have donated here with other household members. There are very wide range of projects available. I have received feedback of all water projects in detail and questions i asked before or after donating were answered well.

BEWARE - DO NOT DONATE! After my late grandmothers passing, my family got together and raised £660 for a well to be built in her name in Gambia. We chose Muslim Hands since we wanted proof of where the money was going - we thought we would receive an impact report alongside a photo with a plaque of her name on the well. We received nothing of the sort, we enquired about the progress of the well after not hearing anything from them.We received a lazy response, yet again with no development on the well. After 3 years since her passing, we have not received any proof of a well being built. I was entrusted to choose a charity by my family and their hard-earned money has gone to waste. I am just warning anyone else looking to donate to a charity: PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE DO NOT DONATE HERE!

Have worked directly with many of the staff of this organisation on large mega projects in UK, Pakistan and Africa. Donated to them as an individual and as part of my organisation. Not an organisation that is trustworthy whatsoever in my view. Their understanding of customer service or honouring the wishes of their donor base is mediocre at best, criminal at worst. Currently undergoing a serious incident investigation by the Charity Commission which is largely under wraps to protect their so-called 'reputation'. However I will admit that probably not all, but some of the work they do, when they do it, is noble and commendable. Their intentions may be sound and the 'niyyah' may be pure. But they are just AWFUL at understanding the wishes and needs of the general public (not all, as 80% are just sheep who are happy to be herded by their 'reputation' social media marketing and expensive TV appeals) - BUT the 20% who ask more questions or expect visibility of the accountability they profess, they dont get anything. But they do get ignored! I/We would choose not to work with them again given the choice. There are far better charities out there that work in the same places for a lot less money delivering the same results. Yes , a lot less money.... in other words, the commercialisation of the islamic charity space (in which they are by no means the only culprits) is just another way to play the power / politics game and generate large amounts of money. End of rant - PLEASE DONT USE THIS CHARITY IF YOU CAN HELP IT!
