Beautiful city! Novi Sad is a city in northern Serbia on the banks of the Danube River. Standing atop a riverside bluff, much of Petrovaradin Fortress dates to the 17th and 18th centuries, with an iconic clock tower and a network of tunnels. Across the river is the old quarter, Stari Grad, site of the Gothic Revival Name of Mary Church and the neo-Renaissance City Hall. Running through Stari Grad are Zmaj Jovina and Dunavska, picturesque streets lined with cafes and shops. The Museum of Vojvodina showcases local history as well as European paintings. Other landmarks include the Novi Sad Synagogue, built in the early 1900s, and now hosting cultural events. The Strand is a beach along the Danube, while Danube Park is another popular outdoor spot for relaxing. Just outside the city, much of Fruška Gora mountain is protected as a national park. On its slopes are Velika Remeta and other Serbian Orthodox monasteries.

Heart of the city, full of people, street performances,... Must come in the night. It is a big open square surounded with lovely buildings and a cathedral. A coffee shop near it where you can sit down and watch the crowds.

The city of Novi Sad is relatively quiet, and there is the ancient Church of the Virgin Mary in a lively street that extends in the center and has a variety of cafes. You can stop to drink coffee or eat a snack. You can also shop from the shops along the center street and enjoy the beauty of the buildings, trees and roses.
