Polite and professional staff, they work fast and qualitatively.

They do a great job with sustainability and helping us in the transformation of our old houses. They also keep this beautiful city neat and clean. The employees are very friendly. In those, no doubt they deserve 5 stars! However, their environmental permit department is very troublesome. They basically don't respond to the official queries of their citizens. In the last 6 months, I and our other five neighbours are trying to figure out if we need a permit for building an extension. We sent numerous letters, emails but either no response or very vague contradicting responses. When we call, one person says you need a permit but other one says you don't. It would be great if they have a desk where we can submit a written query and get a written answer back in a reasonable timeframe.

A photo booth is available for clicking the passport size photos for Driving license. They won't print the pages for you, you have to get it from outside. The nearest printing service was in Amstelveen Stadshart(Asian Supermarket). Unfortunately, I forgot to bring the print out 1 page and then I had to walk 4KM to and fro. Employees are nice and cooperative.

Super quick! From taking a token to document submission for DL exchange was done under 10 minutes. Super well managed and free coffee as well 👍👍👍

Very helpful staff. You have to make an appointment online or over phone. No help if you walk in. Parking attached is full in business hours and you should pay for it.

I have been to this municipality several times for different reasons and each time I was able to finish the procedures in time even when I was missing something the staff was eager to help me and very flexible! Keep up the amazing work you do there!

Among all the other municipalities in Netherlands, the Amstelveen municipality has best service, quick in giving appointments, resolving issues, issuing Driving licence and BSN number. They accept credit card and debit card. They have free parking for cars and bikes there...Moreover staff is very polite and quite informative...Thanks for the best service, keep it up...
