Service was good... But,There were lot of bad things...specially bathrooms...very poor.. Hot water wasn't continuously coming.. We have booked 15 rooms..same comments was there...also dinner & breakfast not tasty....

A relatively old and rustic hotel situated in a unique place in Nuwara Eliya. The stay was decent. Price was a bit too high for the services we got but still it was good enough. All basic necessities were provided including towels, water bottles, hot water and blankets however things like tea bags and heating were not available. The hotel and the rooms were clean and decent however not up to high standards considering the reputation the hotel had. On top of this, the ambience was also ok and the stay was comfortable and safe. Overall, it is a decent hotel but a bit overpriced and not up to the expectations. One of the biggest annoyances about this place is the fact that they only accept cash. Therefore make sure to bring cash with you before arrival.

**Warning - AVOID** This hotel scams westerners and treats locals poorly (I want with a mixed group) High price and these are the problems with hotel: There is no air conditioning or heating system. The rooms are dated and uncomfortable. No breakfast. Also, I booked 3 rooms. Two rooms the water was cold, and one room had no water at all (shower or toilet!) We spoke with manager about this issue and he told us that he will not give any discount for the room with no water. He said that you just have to accept it and pay full.

Quiet old hotel located at centre of nuwaraeliya. Though the location is nice rooms can definitely go through some renovations. Service was not as expected. Not recommended if you are seeking a quality relaxed vacation.

Can’t say the Food was perfect but it was ok. The service was excellent and the room was fine even though it was a bit old.

24-08-2023 I stayed here for 2 nights with Family . location is perfect , service and rooms were not up to standard . intercom nothing works . only a hot water heater is there , no milk or sugar ,tea packets was provided . In Wash room sometimes hotter comes , some time doesn't . tv is there only for the name , no channels working over all 2/10 can be given

We checked in, no towels, no toilet paper, staff were rude, they demanded that we tell them where we were going when we went out. Complained about their low salaries, mold all over both pillow, sheets were dirty and unwashed. 2 of the staff were drunk and came into my room without permission and filmed me on their phones when I asked for new pillows. I had no blanket on the bed and no heater, it was 11 degrees Celsius. Owner price gouged me almost double the online rate and wanted me to pay for a room we didn’t use. He also laughed at me when I told him what his staff did. This place is the worst.

Cozy atmosphere and catchy location. Room was clean but claustrophobic, And also satisfied meals were served.

Situated in front of the Turf Club of Nuwara Eliya and walking distance to the Gregory Park. Rooms and the service is good. Bathroom was clean, hot water is available. Since we were on “Room only Basis” not sure about the quality of the foods.

Nice place to stay in Nuwaraeliya with panoramic view of mountain and lake Gregory.

Price cheap les than 50 usd,the building actually very beautifull ,but need more care ,because look mess ,other that the location was gread

The location was Amazing .The team leader or manager Mr Dammika (as to my memory )is a very kind and helpful person .

No internet connection except in the lobby. Rooms are just okay. We checked in as a group taking 9 or10 rooms but the experience is not great.

Mr.Dammika and staff were very friendly and supportive. Good place to stay....had a happy holiday.

Rooms having intercom and not working There were no towels kept in the room, They kept cup and saucer but no tea packets or any items to make tea. While asking their response is to buy the tea. Don't know why cup and saucer is there... But service staff are friendly...

Rooms are clean.. Staff is very helpful, Dinner buffet was reasonable and tasty food.. Specially both the managers are very friendly and helpful and professional.👍👍👍

Not recommended. No facilities at all. No meals, only bed, but rates are almost 5 stars. Not even a water bottle given. No wifi in rooms.

Best Experience in the Hotel, very Friendly Staffs, with reasonable rates. Hot water works perfectly.... Top floor room is the best to have a good morning view

This hotel is located in front of the Nuwara Eliya Race Course Ground. Staff if Friendly and helpful. During our visit hotel bar was close because of some bar license issue. Hotel is very old one but they maintain it's old style and rooms renovated with modern amenities. Bed is super comfortable one and hot water also not interrupted one because some hotel in Nuwara Eliya had issues with Hot water but we didn't face that issue in Alpine. Room rate also cheap compare to other hotels around this property. This property got ample parking space for guest's vehicles. Sunrise from the room was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel.

They only think about money. Very bad management with low qualities. My humble request is don't go there.

Great place to get your accommodation in calm historic looking place.

Do not go here, so many awful things cannot begin but will try, Dirty, no bed sheets, extra charge for heat, mold in bathroom and the best was 1100 rupees for one coffee and tea. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like Covid itself………

Very bad experience, bad attitude from the guys at the reception. No water bottle, no blankets, no soap, no shampoo, no hair dryer, no waste bin, no complementary tea or nescafe, NO HOT WATER!!!., No tissues, not all lamps working and the list goes on. We reached late and asked for a something to drink they replied that kitchen is closed. Worst night spent at this hotel.

Great front view of the hotel. Convenient to get everything from this location. Close to hills backside and sound of rain drops also can feel from the room. Service and fish items are great. But quality of interior inside the room is not so good.

Cheated us with transfer to the railways station. Promised minivan, but it was super old defender instead. Because we paid forward, there wasn't chance to cancel in the last moment.

It is remarkable, its staff is super friendly , and has magneficient views and delicious food , this place is one of my favourites, and is defined 💯 recommended!!

Great accommodation to have a comfortable stay in a lovely climate. Perfect place to stay which is not far from every place where we want to visit.
