Service goes from friendly to gruff and the food is average (📷 entrecôte was tasty but accompanying vegetables were bland and fries came mid way through meal despite repeated calls to staff). Note that one of this place’s peculiarities is that the fondue specials - which the restaurant is apparently known for but that I can’t vouch for yet - are only available in the first room of the restaurant (the more informal looking one) and not the second, where only the menu is offered. Altogether, a passable restaurant, by no means awful but not particularly good, inviting or charming.

We were always incredibly loyal customers of this restautant. We loved it until today. All the people who run this restaurant are so lovely except the one guy working there today. We tried to go into the restaurant and instead of saying "sorry there isn't any space left, so sorry. Do you want to wait?" But no, he was awful and spoke harshly to my kids, my mom and sister and I, giving us no option to wait. He pushed past rudely. I couldn't believe it because the entire inside had like 10 empty tables. It is possible they were reserved but it is also possible by how awful this guy was to us that he simply didn't want the noise of my kids and family. We have literally been coming to this restaurant for 5 years many times a month. Really bummed by this experience.

A little pretentious but really tasty food. I went at dinner time for the burger and fries (shoestring fries, absolutely delicious) and my friend had the seafood pasta, which were both fantastic dishes. Highly recommend getting them. But neither of us wanted wine and as soon as we told our waiter we just wanted water, our service immediately became cold and unhelpful. Up until that point, we had basically been waited on hand and foot. After we said no to the wine, it took everything we had to get their attention to even pay the bill. So, go at lunch if you can and avoid dinner. Maybe it was because of the time of day that we didn’t get the nicest service.

We had burgers and fondue here and everyone was happy with their food. Not the best fondue in the area, though cheese was good. Quickly ordered , the waiter was not super friendly at first , like a robot taking an order, quickly served, we had lunch in one hour 7 people. Globally a good experience with a dog friendly restaurant

Very good filets de perche, one of the few restaurant that still serve the one from the lake! And they made an amazingly good cake for my birthday :)

Situated near to the lake but on a busy road. Wasn't too bad as there was glass between the terrace and the street, and good if you like to watch what's going on. Had snails which were average but had the fillet on a hot stone which was excellent. Wines were nice and good service. Would say if it says they are booked to go along anyway, app said nothing till 830 but we could see the restaurant from our hotel and was virtually empty from opening at 630pm.

Even with no reservation, we were nicely welcomed into the restaurant and got a nice table outside. The waiter was extraordinarily nice with great manners. However I've given this lovely looking restaurant such a low rating since I ordered a Flammen Kuchen, specifically one with bacon on it. While eating I realized there was a bone on one of the bacon pieces. I made no fuss of it and thought it must happen to anyone, but when it happened again I completely lost my appetite. The Flammen Kuchen itself was good, but the bacon is a rather huge turn-off for me.

We visited on 27 Jun, having made a reservation a few hours prior. We were graciously welcomed and placed at an outdoor table as we requested. I can only say all of our meals were delicious, our waiter was wonderful, and we were truly glad we had found Restaurant Leman. Wonderful evening!

We had a very warm welcome from a lovely waitress. The service was excellent and I would definitely recommend the Filets de Perche, they were delicious. Will be back soon.

We booked a table for 3 people 1 week in advance on the restaurant website. . Our reservation was confirmed by email. When we arrived at the restaurant, a panel in front of the door was indicating that the restaurant was closed due to a private party. We went in to ask for explanations. Very cold welcome from the staff. Their only explanation was: online reservations don’t work! Very unprofessional…

Great brasserie with authentic french by the lake in nyon.

Nice good menu. Right in front of the lake. Service is great. Great place to grab a bite with colleagues.

Maybe the fondue is good, but the pasta is not. So just avoid asking Carbonara and try something else.
