👍👍 Lots of parking spots with ready access to Steam and Canyon Trails. Picnic tables are thoughtfully placed near the parking lot, and water is available for pets and their humans. People often mention trails,

Nice redwoods, although not as big as the ones on the north coast. There is a flat, road-like trail along the creek and steeper narrower trails go up the hillsides. You get out of the redwoods and into some sun if you go to the top of the ridge.

Very pretty place, gets very busy quick though. Lots of families with kids and larger groups of people. Hiked the Stream trail, to Redwood peak and back using the West Ridge trail, 3h30 in total with a 20min break at the top.

Great trailhead to start from. Wayside and Crescent lots are easier to par and have a nice restroom across the street.

No service here or close by so arrange where too meet. There is quite a lot of parking in different, named, areas. Facilities available, even as you walk deeper in. I usually follow the stream trail and go over the bridge to continue forward.

One of the best hiking trails in the East Bay. Fall colors still so beautiful but go now..the leaves are starting to fall. (Still many Redwood trees). And, there are millions of ladybugs nesting. So fun to be only 1 foot away and watch them piggyback ride on each other!

This is an excellent place for hiking if you want tall shade-giving trees on either side of the trails. The trails are very pleasant to walk along during summer. There are many places to sit and picnic. There are also many camping grounds. Plenty of restrooms too.

This is my go to place to hike in the Redwoods park. There is more parking and family friendly trails. Camping is allowed here.

The place is beautiful, lots of parking, the trails are nice, picnic areas and dog friendly, the only reason I don't give it 5 stars it's because I was trying to be in a quiet space with nature and there was no quiet because there's a summer camp with tons of teens, but it wasn't too loud. I'll go earlier next time when they're not exercising 😉

Super dog friendly, good workout for my calves in a peaceful and restorative environment. Parking not a problem.
