We came here for lunch simply because it has pretty high review rating. Unfortunately it fell off our expectation. The people working there was nice and friendly. But to be honest, the chicken burger had nothing special. Homemade Jamaican sauce is spicy but not special at all. I would say food quality is just average. The fresh cut fries are the best out of all as they were spiced and freshly made. There are a few tables outside directly under sun. Not even with an umbrella. The eating tables area is kind of raw. The whole set up is a container converted-unit with raw outside seating. But price-wise is really close to what you would pay in a nicely decorated with air-con or nicely covered outdoor restaurants. Paying about $18+tax for a chicken burger and $10+tax for fries are really over-priced here. Overall experience was negative in consideration of all these factors. I rated 2-stars only because of the services. Otherwise, with the price and food I could only give 1 star max.

By far the best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten!!! Perfectly juicy chicken breast with a delicious crispy coating. We had the TKO and the Uppercut sandwiches. Both were not spicy at all, for our palates, but the sandwiches were fantastic. The poutine and fries were average. Wish they had tables to eat at, but this is a take out only joint. Will definitely visit again.

I went to Chippy's for the first time today, and I have to say the chicken sandwiches and the poutine were amazing. I’ll definitely be back to try the other variations of chicken sandwiches, but the one I got was amazing, and my wife also loved her sandwich and poutine. I will definitely be back, and I’m glad I found this gem! Highly recommend 10/10! Also, the service is great, and the person who served me, whom I believe to be the owner, was awesome. Sadly I forgot to take some photos of the amazing sandwiches 😂✌️

They were not greasy or soggy. Freshly prepared. I love it!❤️😍

My wife and I went there this evening and we were very impressed with the owners honesty and with the passion with which he explained what he had in the menu. We had the crispy chicken burger and OMG this was absolutely 💯 worth every bite. The fries were fresh with herbs and so delicious. This is a place you have to visit at some point. Obviously we were drawn by the advertisement of freshly cut fries and man do they deliver! Will be returning again for a bigger portion because I just wanted to see how authentic they were. Amazing 💯 marks for freshness and crispness!! They also sell halal burgers but the owner/chef was kind enough to tell us that there is possibility of contamination since he also sells non halal burgers. Again loved his honesty.

DELICIOUS! The coating on the TKO sandwich is unlike any other...super crispy and crunchy. Yum! Paired with perfectly cooked fries and a bottle of soda, a must try combo. See you again soon!

I had a craving for an Italian Sausage for lunch. Instead of heading over to the nearest Canadian Tire to eat at one of those hot dog stands that is usually at the entrance of the store, I decided to visit Chippys to satisfy my cravings based on its high reviews. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations of what an Italian Sausage should be. The sausage itself was very bland and the bun even though it was toasted, kept falling apart whenever I pick it up to eat. Not to mention it costed a little over $8 bucks! I don't mind paying a high price for a good sausage but there was absolutely nothing special about theirs. On a high note, the guys that worked there were nice and service was good.

An off-the-beaten-track destination but those who know of it....or stumble upon it....keep it on their "to do" lists for some massively delicious food!!! Long-time occupants on this corner (18 years????) and survivors of the COVID craziness just solidifies their food credibility. Crispy chips (I get mine double fried...) and huge sandwiches which test your mouth muscles and more than satiate your hunger. Watch out for the spices as they can get HOT!!!! Also unique are THE POP SHOPPE drinks in the old classic bottles and the orange actually tastes like the ORIGINAL ORANGE CRUSH we used to get a longgg time ago.

Today is Fries day ordered 3 large fries and a Jungle Slaw got home and found they gave me onion rings instead of the Slaw, and i cant stand onion rings. what a way to rip off your customers, if it was really busy then maybe i can understand the mistake but there were only 2 customers there including myself. Addendum. I went back to complain the issue and the owner was very understanding and help full and he made thing right. definitely gained my confidence back and i will return for more.

OMG. Best chicken sandwich ever. Located in a trailer beside a self-serve car wash, but don't let that deter you! Phenomenon! You got to try it!

Fantastic chicken sandwich. Freshly made with fresh ingredients - great sides as well. The chips were awesome! Well worth it and priced fairly considering the quality, especially when comparing to a combo at McDonalds or Wendys that has a lower grade product. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area.
