The only thing that saves this clinic is the fact that they have Dr. Pandke on staff. She deserves 5+ stars. This review is by no means a testament to her care, but the office itself is awful. They rarely answer phones and one particular receptionist is exceptionally rude. She answers the phones like she’s doing the place a favour and is being put out. The only reason I subject myself to this place is because of Dr. Pandke.

Horrible service, you are expected to hold the line for hours. The line keeps cutting, when you finally reach the reception you get transfered to the nurse and you hold indefinitely until the line cuts again. No proper communication, difficult to reach, time wasting and frustrating.

My family has been attending this clinic over 30 years. We have been provided with nothing but excellent care in a system that is bursting at the seams. Dr Arani is thorough and the receptionists have been professional with every call.

I am deeply disappointed with the head nurse. She is insulting and unprofessional. She has been rude to me on many occasions and most recently when I needed a refill on two medications that are NOT controlled substances. She verbally approved one of two medications and suggested I go to A walk-in clinic - not even their walk-in clinic - or the ER for the second medication. I've been on the same medication for years. This is ridiculous. I am confident that I am not the only person she has made feel this way. As a service provider myself, I would never treat someone the way she has treated me. Her behaviour and lack of compassion are unacceptable and should not be tolerated.

Reception is awful. I don’t know if it’s the people or the system, but something needs to change. Nobody picks up the phone during their 9-11am, 1-5pm hours of operation (must be nice.) They shamelessly hang up on incoming calls. I would be fired from any job I’ve ever worked at for that behaviour

The best professional family care with Dr. Vetivelu. My entire family is under her care and her thoroughness, efficiency and kindness are exemplary.

Reception staff is rude. But what stands out to me the most is the uncomfortable feeling I felt in the room with doctor Kanaganayakam. The feeling of being judged by your own doctor while she repeatedly looks you up and down with her eyes as you speak to her is enough to make you want to leave and never look back. Her soft voice and attempt at feeling empathy comes off as performative and insincere. She also only works a few days during the week. Good luck trying to make an appointment with her. You will be waiting for months.

My dad went here and the dr refused to see him as a follow up because he wouldn't spend money on a superficial treatment. I work in health care .it's disgusting

My family has been seeing Dr. Pandke at the Argus medical clinic for about 8 years. I have also used their walk in service (for clients only, not open to general public) and have seen many of the other doctors at Argus over the years in the walk in. Dr. Pandke is a conscientious, caring, thorough a extremely competent doctor. The other doctors are also excellent and I have never felt rushed or dismissed by any of the doctors at this practice. The practice is well run and the staff are courteous and professional. Yes, sometimes you have to wait beyond your appointment time to see a doctor and sometimes not. This is not unusual in any medical practice and it is exactly the same at the Argus Medical Centre as it is in any other medical clinic in the GTA, no worse, and sometimes better. I feel very grateful to have found such an excellent GP to care for my family with an associated walk in clinic to serve their customers. They have always been responsive and helpful and I feel that this may be the best medical practice in Oakville. Dr Pandke is awesome !
