Outstanding meal, service [Sam] and supporting team. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, everything was top notch. We all opted for the Taste of Oakville menu, which was a phenomenal deal, a 3-Course meal for $40 +taxes. This is on until March 10th, 2022. We celebrated a birthday, and the staff presented us with a birthday card with a future coupon for an appetizer, at the end. Chop continues to deliver, build loyalty through friendly & attentive service, and each time we go, we appreciate the people and this establishment more and more.

I went with friends for my birthday I had the best meal ever, I ordered the steak and lobster it was perfectly cooked. The appetizers were phenomenal, an amazing place for any occasion.

Best hidden gem! All I can say is WOW! My family and I went on Sunday evening for the first time to celebrate a birthday. Our server was Greg and he was fantastic- very attentive, knowledgeable, engaging, and a great sense of humour! It might have been the Manager who brought us a plate of garlic crustini and a warm goat cheese because it was our first time attending the restaurant. I have never had this happen before and it was wonderful. The food was delicious and large portions. The avocado super bowl with chicken was so delicious (see photo) and even better the next day. My husband enjoyed his steak and shrimp and no complaints with the kids' meal selections. Make sure to order the $3 rye bread with whipped brown butter. The restaurant not only acknowledged the birthday with a dessert, but also with a signed card from all staff and coupon for a free appetizer. The cocktails were also delicious! Thank you Greg and staff for a wonderful dinner! We look forward to returning and reserving the 'Bird Cage' (private table).

Great ambiance, background music was perfect. Food was good overall. Chili garlic shrimp was a bit too mild, could use a little extra sauce or flavouring. Was going to give a 4.5 overall, but Savana was such a wonderful person. She made us feel welcome. Meals were perfectly timed. Great service. 5⭐️ for Savana. Would definitely like to come back and try the other items on the menu.

My husband and I went for my birthday May 19, our waitress was Monique and she was Absolutely amazing and sweet! The Managers Tara and Tim were awesome as well , both stopped by the table and provided great customer service . Our food was probably the best steak I have ever had and all the sides were out standing! Our first time visiting Chop and we will definitely be coming back for happy hour ! I been to other Chop locations, this was my first time at this location. Service was excellent, our server was very courteous and friendly. He recommended the birria tacos so we ordered birria tacos as an entree, filet mignon and prime rib as mains. Everything was excellent. My husband got a bigger thank expected piece of fat on his prime rib and our waiter gave him another piece. Also we were celebrating my birthday and we got a complementary desert, it was delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location.

We love it at The Chop Steakhouse and Bar! Like it better than The Keg. More space, great food. More food choices for those without big appetites. Varied and interesting appetizers. Two of them are enough for me: veg tempura and steak bites. The guys like the steaks and Prime rib and what comes with them. Service is great and food comes fast. Nice round table for family meals is available, and there is also a round enclosed booth. Great for special events. Thoroughly enjoyed each visit!

Chops has really stepped up their game over the last couple of years so we were glad to return for another great meal. We use to frequent The Keg which was our go-to affordable steakhouse for those more casual dining out nights but we have been quite disappointed and bored with their menu/quality over the years. Chops has great variety and yummy appetizer choices. Steak and fish options we ordered were perfect. Peppercorn sauce, yes! My son had a burger, which was a good size so he was happy. Really appreciate the dessert trio, perfect ending to a great meal. Our server Emily was knowledgeable, personable and appreciated that our tastes in food/beverages were aligned. Ordered most of her recommendations and they were all on point. Great service and food and absolutely fair prices for what you get.

Friendly service, good food, and great drinks. We ordered the Prime Rib and the Top Sirloin, both of which were excellent. The baked potato, sadly, was hard as a rock. The smoked Old Fashioned's were a wonderful pairing to the food, but the Creme Brulee was extremely greasy. I'd mentioned while booking the reservation that I was celebrating my birthday, but there was not so much as a mention, let alone a note or a dessert, contrary to other reviews.

We had the smoked ribeye dinner with baked potato and a side of mushrooms (pictured) and the filet mignon with French fries. Dessert was a mini Creme Brulee and the pineapple upside down cake (both are pictured). Service was excellent. The wait staff were very attentive. The Steaks were cooked perfectly, one was medium and the other medium well. It's nice when a restaurant can get the steak done correctly the first time. The desserts were delicious. The Creme Brulee was not eggy like it can be at other restaurants. It was nice and light and smooth. The only complaint would be the food temperature. The steak and potato were not hot enough by the time we received our meals. I didn't mention it to the staff because we were celebrating a birthday and I didn't want to ruin the mood and the food was delicious anyhow.

I came to the Chop Steakhouse with my brother for the first time and it was amazing! The food was delicious and the drinks that were made by our server Dylan were great. I am definitely coming back. The atmosphere and interior design is stunning

My family came to celebrate a graduation. The food and ambience of the dining room was great. Our server, Morgan, was so lovely and attentive. She made our first experience at Chop a wonderful one!

We attend Chop for our anniversary & it was hands down the BEST experience we have ever had. From the service to the food, 10/10. We had the steak and lobster that was amazing , and we are from east coast. We also had the buyer and fries …. Amazing food!!!!! I wish we could give this more than 5 starts. Our server was the best server we have ever had at ANY restaurant…. This man needs a raise!!! We will definitely be back agian and agian !!!!!!

Had an awesome time at chop tonight . Food, drinks and service was top notch.The service we received was amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. Our server was fun and attentive,great knowledge of the menu! Can’t wait to go back.

Celebrated my dads birthday with a lovely goat cheese dip, had a variety of mains including the prime rib, top sirloin, picanha, and filet mignon, all were excellent. The seasonal vegetables were announced prior to ordering and were very enjoyable as well. We also enjoyed the dessert trio which were irresistible even being so full from the meal!

We went to Chop for a birthday celebration- the food was good, and since it was a weeknight we got served quite quickly. We ordered the prime rib, top sirloin, Chop burger and the pasta kids meal. It was a good experience overall, but there were a few things that we wanted to point out- we weren’t offered bread to start (maybe it’s a thing of the past?) and the portion size of the mashed potatoes was quite small- just the size of a small ice cream scoop. Also, the kids menu stated that all kids meals come with an ice cream sundae, but it was never offered to us. They did give us a birthday card, so they was a nice touch! Overall, it was a nice evening and we will return!

Beautiful restaurant, good food, and good service! We came here to celebrate a birthday. We sat in the bar side as it wasn’t too busy and felt more open. The large windows are awesome and offer great natural light. Our server was attentive although she forgot our bread basket even after a few reminders. We did eventually get it, and the bread was delicious. We had the Top Sirloin with Fully Loaded Baked Potato as well as the Filet Mignon with Peppercorn sauce. Out of the four steaks, I’d say only one was cooked as expected. But nevertheless, they were all very good cuts, tender, and tasty! The slice of cake at the end to celebrate the birthday was nice and so delicious! You can’t go wrong with this Steakhouse.

We celebrated our anniversary together at Chop steakhouse and we were spoiled by the Chop staff hospitality. We were seated in the bar area which had a fun vibe. We started with cocktails- I had the mojito which was amazing. The escargot stuffed mushroom was a fabulous starter. Be both ordered steaks which were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend adding the roasted garlic and shallot topper. Delicious! Just when we thought we were full, we had to order the dessert trio. There miraculously was room! We enjoyed this wine which could not be found at the LCBO. They had such an extensive wine list! The chop staff then surprised us with a raspberry cocktail to finish cause my husband had mentioned how he likes raspberries!! The staff were attentive, thoughtful and helped to make our anniversary memorable. We will be back!

Very nice place with a good vibe and cozy atmosphere. The main course was really yummy. Sorry i don't put 5 ⭐ cause of the cream brûlée who was not really good without a real taste of the real one. But we are in Canada, not in France...

Service is outstanding. One of our stakes didn't find it right, and we just made a small remark, no compliant, but the manager personally came out and apologized and made a new one which was perfect. Great food.

Amazing service, staff, and food. Cannot recommend this place enough. We walked in and we’re greeted graciously, our reservation was kept, the steak bites appetizer came out timely, and our drinks were wonderful. But the winner of the night were our steaks! We had the filet and the New York strip - both were tasty and tender! Next time we’re in the area we’ll be back!
