Small but picturesque spot to enjoy the view of Lake Ontario and downtown Toronto. The only additional thing I would suggest is to put a few more benches.

I came here with my boyfriend in December of 2020, during the pandemic. He was driving and we came across such a beautiful lake. We knew we had to go. We had to park a little farther since there was no parking near. From where we were, the entrance is a small opening of the trail with a trees covering a bit, hinting of the beautiful blue water. The trail is narrow and goes a long way. But the view is amazing. It was kinda cold that day. We sat on the bench and hearing the water move was so peaceful. There was not much people that time either so it was great. Lovely park and i would visit it again someday this summer if i can!

Very pleasant lakeside, you can either walk trail or, listen to the lake water. People on the paddle boards are always nice pictures

One of the best park in area. If you are nature lover must visit this place. Love relaxing n long walk here. You can also plan your quick picnic day. Either you can carry home cooked food or pick-up anything from near by market. Parking areas are always full but you are allowed to park roadside. No parking fee its free. No matter howmuch crowded this place is..you will always find place to park. Oakville museum is at walkable distance. Also lighthouse & Small park for Toddlers to enjoy. Almost every weekend I go here. Yes I would highly recommend to visit this place.

Oakville dingell park is waiting for you on the beach in oakville. Be sure to explore this place. It's like reaching out to the sea between the houses. It is not very big, but it is still a park where you can come with your pet friend. It is not very suitable for small children to play. The lake is at the bottom of the park and may not be safe for very young children. There are benches to sit in the park. I think if you come on the weekend, leave your car in a parking lot in the city and walk to the park. There is a parking lot for a small car in front of the park. As you approach the park, you will see historical houses. There are houses that are at least 150 years old. I definitely recommend it.

Nice and atmospheric park next to lake Ontario with a view on the US and Toronto just across the lake (if it's a clear day).

Small and tiny park on the lake but very nice are, it leads to the light house and Lakeside park. Sun set there is beautiful, just be aware of mosquitos during the month of July and early August

A tiny look out point near downtown Oakville, that is quaint but also very popular. There is a nice trail, which unfortunately is closed right now for some construction. It's always fun to walk by super rich people's houses, but the views (of the lake of course) throughout the year never cease to disappoint. You'll see regulars with their dogs plus tourists visiting this place. There are 2 picnic tables and 2 benches to sear you and your friends. I've seen people sit here even in winter.

A beautiful park by the water surrounded by many gorgeous old houses in downtown Oakville. There's a path at the waters edge that peaceful winds through the park. Many places to sit and enjoy the scenery. It's pandemic time so people are keeping their distance. Stay safe out there people. Lockdown or not, keep washing those hands!

Quiet, pretty and calming park. Great place to come with a coffee and relax. Parking is sometimes an issue but you have to park up the street and walk down. It is windy down here so bring a light jacket or hat. If you keep walking 5 mins down then there is a place for kids to play and hang out.

Beautiful park if you are looking to go on a brisk walk with your dog or with your significant other. A lot of space to sit and enjoy the view of Toronto. The shoreline is nice to walk along but it's a bit rocky so be careful. There's a lot of parking and it's right beside downtown Oakville.

Nice park and awesome trail along the lake. It's walking distance from Oakville downtown and there are several seating places facing the lake. Was really calming and not much crowded. Being so close to downtown yet felt peaceful here. Nice for walk and even just to sit and admire the lake. Get a coffee from the downtown area and relax here.
