I love this place, great if you're looking for beautiful walk in nature. Been here in spring and summer and now it’s fall it did not disappoint. Beautiful setting for pictures I usually go for early morning walks it'svery peaceful. Parking varies based on where you're entering the park you either park under the bridge in the designated parking lot on the bottom end or the plaza parking lot if you're entering from to top. There are stairs and a steep hill if you're starting on top and can be challenging for some keep in mind you will have to go both ways. The walk is pretty easy at the river level.

Lion Valley Park is a hidden gem in the heart of Oakville. The views here of the river are spectacular. It has many walking trails. Also you can sit at the river and enjoy the nature. This is a perfect park for daily walks with kids, friends and family.

Did the sixteen mile creek loop, it was about 6 km. Also did a side trail, along a ridge descending to the valley and climbing back, alot elevation changes. The trail on the north of creek was more scenic . Beautiful fall colors. Pretty busy even on a weekday.

Very nice trail just below Dundas with moderate level of hiking. For a bit of cardio there is a stretch of elevated trail and also stair case to go up and down as you can see in the picture. Visiting during Fall will be gorgeous

If you're looking for a nice getaway from Oakvile, you don't have to go too far. This park is wonderful. The trail is about 2 hours of walking with a stroll along side the river. There are cool signs to read along the way and lovely views of nature. Tucked away and hidden in a little valley, you really get the sense that you're not in the city. Great place to walk your dog and enjoy time with your family. The trail isn't challenging but there are some stairs to climb along the way FYI

Urban trail along a river where we saw plenty of big fish. Breathtaking views of autumnal trees, easy and short walking. Parking is in the other side of the road. Recently, during the weekend before Thanksgiving, the trail was crowded but still we enjoy the place.

First time walking this beautiful natural area following Sixteen Mile Creek. Great place for birds. Saw a Baltimore Oriole (very excited about that!), Grey Catbird, Downy, Hairy and Redbellied Woodpeckers, Cardinals and Blue Jays. Heard lots of other songbirds but couldn't see them. Will explore again for sure--lots of trail left for next time.

The place is very beautiful with some spots having falls colors already in. I have attached a picture to showcase what can be found there. You can take bicycles or walk through the trails, the trail is overall 1.5 hours by walk. Overall good experience as we had our dog who enjoyed a lot and we took lot of pictures near the spot we found fall colors. Worth visiting till next mid october.

A great walking trail at this place. Following the 16 mile Creek. Though the mosquitoes may keep you from enjoying your walk. Especially towards late evening. The trail itself is not too tough. There are portions where the steep incline and drop may slow you down. The direction signs in this trail could be better. We had the All Trails map and could easily navigate the trail. Becuase a large part of the trail is near homes and streets, even if one got lost one could come out on the street and find one's way around. Good for a workout. And, if you are a "step watcher" you can easily achieve your goal by walking the 6 km loop.

One of my favourite walking trails in Oakville. It’s a quiet area and everyone is very friendly…a very hidden, not so hidden gem. There is a nice viewing point on the south end near the escarpment area. Make sure to search Lions Valley Park Parking Lot if you’ve never been here before or you may take you to a private residential area.

It's a great place to spend time with family, kids and small groups on a get together or in general if you plan to visit to take your pets for a walk They have quite a few short trails which can be explored on a sunny day, which will not take more than 20-25 mins. There is also a kids playing area which can be a good option on any warm evening to spend time with your kids.

I'd highly recommend this hike it's not very long it should take between 1.5-2 hours to complete. Some parts were quite steep so that should be kept in mind before going.

It is a nice park for trail and enjoying foliage. It might still need two weeks or more to reach the peak.

Very beautiful park located in Oaksville just opposite to neyagawa park. It’s quite big town park with dense trees and well marked lanes. The new comers to the park May lost their way inside the park. So be cautious with map details when you enter newly to this park. More people are walking and cycling on this nice park.

People friendly, dog friendly beautiful place. Once they finish all the construction upstream and down stream, it will be more awesome place for stroll and jog.

It’s a nice circular loop around the Sixteen Mile Creek down into the valley. It’s is a nice getaway from the city with a quick drive. It is a popular place on the weekend for families. The trail is not too challenging.

Went here for a trail ride in a mountain bike. The trail is amazing and well maintained. There is a portion where you will have to carry your mountain bike up/down the stairs.

The winter scenery of Lions Vally Park. It’s a snowing day. The whole world was white. No one was there except myself. However, It wasn't long before the children were running and playing in the playground, and the parents were watching with a smile.

Honestly in the fall this park is amazing. All the trees are just beautiful. But if you want to go to the good and beautiful places you have to go in the trails and find new trails. I love this park and the gazebo is so helpful.
