Gairloch Gardens - This is a beautiful garden in the city. Parking space are limited, but we were there on a Saturday morning and there are quite a number of parking space available. Walking in the garden are very relax and comfortable. The small park is well kept in a very tidy manner, clean and easy access. There is also a rose 🌹 garden which is maintained quite beautiful. Once you get in you can smell the blossoms of the rose. The main feature in the garden is the little water pool which are the home of to he frogs, turtles and other creatures. While you are inside the garden, you will also find a small lakeshore path, its good for a walk during the sunset time. Highly recommended for families to go for a walk in the garden.

We decided to give a try here since the reviews were good and they are right! The place is amazing and beautifully designed. It wasn’t crowded much but it’s a great place to sit and relax. They are plenty of benches to be seated. You can sit on the rocks as well. Throughout the park, there are trees and waterfront is the best part. You cannot soak yourself in water but can sit in front and have fun. Kids had fun running around the trees and picking pine cones! There tons of flies around when you are seated and that’s little annoying. Take a bug bat or use a tent to get away from flies if you don’t like them. Walking area is good, should surely visit! I gave 4 rating because the parking is very small, had to wait a lot. There are no shopping or mall nearby to park and walk!

It's a beautiful park in summer and spring, even in winter I love the feel of this place. There is a small parking with many spots available. Weekends are much more busier. Wear your winter boots and you can walk all the way to the lake. It's beautifully white right now. Watch out for the two small ponds that are covered with snow and buried underneath, you don't want kids running off from the path. Stay on the path which is next to the benches. You can walk all the way to the lake

Great place for walks, picnics and photo ops! The garden is well maintained; especially in the June-September period where it looks absolutely stunning and the rose garden is in full bloom. There’s a fountain in the middle of the gardens as well as a stunning lakeside view with adequate seating around. There’s cute bridges, staircases and stone arches to take pictures. Only thing is I wish there was more parking —it’s super difficult to find a spot on weekends an holidays.

After visited the Tannery Park and the Lakeside Park, stopped here. There is a parking lot at the 1306 Lakeshore East, not very large though. It has a rose garden, an elegant bridge and fountains, all were beautiful. The Oakville Galleries were magnificent. The lake view was spectacular. It was relatively quiet even in a Saturday morning.

A hidden gem!! We were in the area and someone recommended and took us here to look at this beautiful garden. We went on a nice sunny-cloudy day. Such a cute and spacious place to walk into with all the vibrant flowers and the lake at the end of the garden. The garden is taken care of so well and I appreciated everything about it.

Oakville Galleries park is amazing. Fontains, ponds with frogs and turtles ,nice rose garden. Galleries building is great outside, but it looks empty and sad inside. Hope it was only on the day of my visit..

This stunning small garden is located on the shore of Lake Ontario. Walking along the boardwalk, sitting on the bench, feeling the breeze is so amazing. Flower beds, rose garden, trees, ponds with fountains, fantastic little bridge, staircases, stone arch.. all provide a natural and peaceful atmosphere. So relaxing! Parking is OK on weekdays but may be a little bit crowded on holidays or weekends.

Small park but very nice and clean. I wouldn’t go out of the way for it, but near by sure. There was a rose garden not in bloom yet, and I think I would come back for them.

I photographed an engagement photoshoot here last summer and I highly recommend it. There are so many great little areas for photos. The gardens are full of flowers in the summer, and there is a wonderful little bridge which crosses over the pond. The lakeshore area is perfect for pictures at sunset. It can get busy during the summer with engagement sessions, however there's more than enough room for photos. A little tip is to use the ivy archway, which is located on the walkway up to the parking lot. It's perfect for framing! :) I'll definitely be recommending this to my clients as a potential engagement photoshoot location! ig lovingcorephoto.

Due to the cloudy and chilly weather, only one family came first, and the parking lot was empty. Flowers of various colors were planted at the entrance. As you enter the trail, there are fountains gushing out from two ponds and a group of geese walking on the grass. Soon, a vast lake came into view, and ducks were leisurely swimming in the lake. The road along the lakeside was clean and well-maintained. I want to come again on a clear day.
