Salad was good The dish with yogurt on top is very delicious for meat lovers. It was minced meat, just like a flat burger rectangular but way better than it sounds. Chicken “breast” was really yummy and tastes clean (sauce was ok) I’m picky when it comes to chicken, this is good! The sausage on top of hummus was a no👎🏼. Little above average $$ Would come back for more dishes to try! 😍

Visited this place a couple days ago and I gotta say...it's pretty amazing!! The food was awesome!! Great portions and so fast yet so delicious!! Like the quality was genuine 👌🏿 ✨️ 👏🏿. I really like the indoor and outdoor decor and overall vibe of the place which made eating there feeling 10x better. Will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Searched place to eat in Oakville and found Maro's. Ordered Beauty and the Beast and Babel which were recommended by the staff. Turned out both delicious and big serving sizes too. Four people can satisfy both dishes actually. Great ambience and great service by staff. Would definitely go back soon.

We were very excited to try this spot since it’s so highly rated. The sense of community with the open style tables is different and amazing, especially after 2 years of covid. The food left us disappointed. Although great portions and variety, we felt it lacked flavour. Glad we tried it but can’t say we will go back.

On trend yet intimate bistro, perfect for a date date or to catch up over the *most* deliciously elevated Middle Eastern food. Excellent service from friendly staff, including the owner, Maro, taking the time to make sure our experience was one to remember! He recommended having our desert next door at Narenj, and we’re so glad we did!

Love love love the food here. Second time and it didn't disappoint. I feel like they added more variety to their menu! More stuff to try and enjoy😊. Most items are for 2 ppl to share. Just look at the portions. The Turkish coffee took a while to arrive (we were nearly done our meal) but perhaps that is the custom?! It was a packed house which is always a good sign. I've heard a lot about Maro's and finally got to try it for the first time and let's just say it will not be the last! The food was absolutely amazing and so flavourful. I am gluten free and they have a lot of options for GF. The service was great and the servers were super friendly! Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the energy (it was busy but everyone there was enjoying themselves)

Have to give it a try, definitely a very good experience and most certainly taste buds happy. A gem in Oakville. Owner is hands on involved, we got there on a Friday evening and it was gem packed and in 10mins we were seated. We got discouraged by the owner when taking our order because he said it would be too much. We didn't listen so we got to take half of the order with us :) we had "lunch in Beirut chicken, the one with cucumbers on the plate and the Secret- beef patty with Halloumi on top

Fun middle eastern joint. Really enjoyed our food. We tried lunch in Beirut and here comes the bried. While both were very good we liked lunch in Beirut a lot. The combo with hummus was great. Will come back to try other dishes.

We were not that hungry but thought we go out for a good meal. This place was recommended by a close friend who was here for lunch. Our server Ethan was great, he showed us to a patio table and also explained the dishes. He also made great conversations, recomended the chicken dish and the fried cauliflower. Food came quickly, was delicious to our taste. We loved the patio area which made our evening a great one. I highly recommend this restaurant in general, Great food, Good service, nice atmosphere, making your end day a great one.. Should come here to find out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Dinner here is not just dinner, it is a beautiful uplifting experience. The owner Maro is wholeheartedly in every nook and craney. The food is outstanding, the staff are truly amazing. The vibe is welcoming, like you feel at home... The love is the food and atmosphere. It is no surprise this restaurant is always humming.

It’s been in my to try list, and finally tried today for lunch. Wow! My new fave restaurant on Kerr St! The food was amazing! The colours are amazing! The roasted veggies are so yummy! We will be back!!!

The food here is great, however the waitstaff isn’t. We were greeted politely and then once we got our food, not once were we checked up on. The waitress even said if we have any questions about the menu to ask, but she never came back and sure enough we had a question. The owner (?) had to take our order. We also were deciding what to get for drinks but no one came so we didn’t bother to order them and just got water instead. We had to ask for water while the waitress paid more attention to other guests (people who spent more money, bigger groups, "rich looking" people, etc). We spent a couple minutes even trying to get her attention but she turned away each time. Also, everyone around us got mint water while we got regular water. We questioned the waitress as to why we got regular water and she said they were in the middle of putting fresh mint in the bottles, yet when guests came they got mint water from the shelf with many mint waters existing there already. We were literally the only table with no mint water. When it came time for us to ask for a take out box and bill, that was a mission and a half. We literally had to stare the waitstaff down and flag them over. That took about 10-15 minutes in itself. Because of zero attention from waitstaff, I’ve subtracted two stars. If the service was as good as the food, there would be better ratings. I am disappointed as my friend and I were excited to come eat here. We felt invisible during our entire dining experience.

Was here for the first time with my friends yesterday...they don't take reservations...the place was busy and will advise reaching early around 6:30pm if you plan to dine in....The food was amazing....the ambience was good...the food portions are big and we were appropriately advised how much to order and share. We ordered the Bella and the Beast, A day in Lebanese Mountain and Here comes the bride...I ordered "peace in the middle east" to drink and loved its refreshing flavour. Will definitely come here again.

Huge portions and reasonable prices for that portion size!! You could easily split one of the mains between 2 people for lunch - we each got one plate and felt stuffed. You also get unlimited pita. Food was pretty good and the waiter outside was really friendly. They share a patio with Narenj.

Great and creative dishes, tastes really nice, it was my first time there and won’t be my last!! The dishes are really huge and good for sharing that’s why the prices are a bit high, the restaurant area is small, the staff are friendly. Worth trying ??

I went to this Friday evening with my girlfriend and another couple. The ownership here is amazing . The service is second to none. The food was far beyond I expected . I never try new places but this for sure is recommended. And we will go back!

This is my new favorite place! I love the chicken shawarma dish, enough for at least two people. I can't remember the name of the mixed mezze plate which comes with 6 different dips including hummus and baba ganush. It's enough for four people and each and every dip is amazing. A few are spicy which I love! The food is always fresh, spectacularly flavored and beautiful presentation. Tons of gluten free options. A must try!

The food is something different and well blend of spices. The restaurant is charming and very friendly. We were happy with the service. The only think I might add is that I felt there was a missing component like salad or rice on the side. It was hard to eat that much meat. Although there was some potato on top but not enough. The same with fish. I would prefer smaller portion of fish but with more side dishes . Grilled halumi was very good.

This restaurant is one of the top Mediterranean restaurant I have ever been to. They offer wide variation of Lebanese food that is fresh and delicious. The grilled cauliflower is a must have. It’s grilled too soften enough and I believe it’s been sprinkled with sumac and spices to perfection. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I have been this place 2 times and I really like there food and ambience. Very nice decor. Service is also very good. I also like there cafe area which is next to restaurant. I enjoyed good Turkish coffee and dessert. Love there green plants that have very good vibe to sit and enjoy your meals.

We have done take out here before , and enjoyed the food . Tonight we came for a family dinner and sat outside. The food is as great as before. The service was outstanding . The waitress was friendly and pleasant. The dessert tarts they serve from partner cafe next door is also pretty and tasty. We all got different entrees , everything was delicious , eggplants, chicken shawarma, tandoori chicken were juicy and flavourful. Portion per dish is enough for two ppl. Even the side beets , cauliflowers and hummus were all well done and fresh. Food was so good I forgot to take pictures until deserts

First time at this restaurant! Service was great, food presentation was bang on. Good options for dairy free and gluten free. Only minor complaint is that our drinks did not come out before our dinner. Hardly anything to complain about. Very impressed.

Incredible is an understatement. The food is incredible. There is creativity, passion and love that has gone into their food, atmosphere and their service. They check on you frequently, have great suggestions and are the friendliest staff and ownership we have encountered. I highly recommend dining in.

Tried Maro's out for the first time today was I was blown away! Being from the Middle East, it's hard to find authentic flavors in Canada and Maro's took me back home with real Lebanese seasoned beef, chicken and potatoes. We weren't familiar with the menu item names so we accidentally sent our order back, thinking it wasn't ours, but the gentleman that came by our table kindly explained that it actually was our order and was really nice about it. Will definitely be coming back here with more family and friends - highly recommend it!

The food was amazing, as was the service. The whole team made sure our water was always full and they were all very attentive. Ariel, our waitress, recommended AMAZING options for our group of 6 and we ate family-style. Everything was flavourful and fresh. A friend of mine asked me to come meet her in Oakville at her favourite spot. Maro’s did not disappoint! From the crispy halloumi, baked cauliflower, fish and so much more, Maro’s offers such a beautiful meal that feels filling but still light. I really loved the atmosphere, and service was exceptional. Highly recommend!

Stumbled on this place randomly and have not been disappointed once! Everything is amazing and with very generous portion sizes. We are very happy we found it as it has become a weekly treat!

Absolutely outstanding food!

The food is phenomenal. However they charged us extra for no reason. Might have been honest mistake but everyone on my table paid 3 extra. For reference our meal was 22 and after tax and a 10% tip we paid 30. That is an estimated 26% tax. It's not an issue of extra 3 dollars but rather the integrity of the price shown on the menu.

I had the absolute pleasure to eat at Maro’s yesterday while I visited Oakville for the first time. The food was good, and the customer service was absolutely outstanding. It was raining quite heavily and we decided to wait as there was not an empty dry table in the patio. The female server made an exception for us and let us dine inside as we were already wet. While we only ordered one item, she was very attentive to all our needs even after being the only server. Additionally, we didn’t even have to pay for the extra breads we ordered later. Just a great experience, that’s all.

Absolutely delicious! Loved the atmosphere and the food. Prices are reasonable (though not cheap as the single $ on Google seems to imply) and servings are large. The waitress helped us choose dishes that worked well together as it was our first time. Will definitely come again.

Great service and food was delicious! We had the cauliflower, fish, mustard chicken breast and eggplant. Persian tea was awesome. A little cozy but we definitely enjoyed the experience. Middle eastern food is so good.

Ambiance is great, food is fresh and delicious and staff are warm and inviting. Prices are high but the portions are very, very generous. Dining with 4 people, we shared a MIDDLE EASTERN BOWL, which was a mix of their spreads. I would say this was a highlight because we got to taste all their best dips with pita. I ordered a LUNCH IN BEIRUT, with delicious chicken shawarma. HERE COMES THE BRIDE had fried fish, the flavors were great but I’m not a huge deep fried fan. We got their famous BELLA AND THE BEAST- that cauliflower and the hummus, paired with the beets were out of this world. The BEFORE SUNSET was lovely too, with a bit of a spicy kick. Again, portions are huge, so it’s good to share or order accordingly. Great place, highly recommend!

Even with covid precautions taken into account, Maro has not compromised on service or taste. The process of getting a table to our food being served was very well thought out. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience!! Definitely do try their Bella and the beast- it has cauliflower that will taste like heaven!!

My first and second visit was great, the food and the service I really love it. After that, every time was just going bad, last time I ordered the veggie tower as usual and I was expecting the avocado because that's why I ordered the plate, but they didn't have avocado and they didn't mentioned before, that felt bad, at least you should say and ask if I still want it or if can be replaced it with something else...but nothing...I am not sure if I will come back.

My boyfriend and I LOOOOVE Maros! We live in Toronto and often make the trip to Oakville just to eat here or grab takeout. Maro is the coolest and nicest man, who has the best food in the GTA! So many vegan options! And we always... ALWAYS get the cauliflower.

I came here for the first time, and unbeknownst to me they had not opened yet for another hour. With their open arms and hearts they cooked me up a delicious burrito-style bowl! Outstanding hospitality, delicious food, and a great price! Could not recommend it to my friends and family any quicker!

Food was fast and very good! We ordered Memories of Persia. The take out bag smelled sooo good and the food was still warm. Took it home to eat and it did not disappoint. The box was jammed packed of all the deliciousness. Very flavorful beef shawarma and them potatoes!!! The red and white sauce were great compliments to the dish. Will be back again!

The best spot for middle Eastern cuisine in the GTA. The food is always consistent and the menu is so creative! I love the patio and atmosphere is suited for couples and families. Make sure you try the eggplant dishes but literally anything you order will be perfect.

Delicious food, big portion. We had to stay at the patio because of COVID-19 and it was a good experience and my wife and kids enjoyed it!

Their food is a high quality gourmet type of good.. and it's healthy! Just wish they would advertise being halal in a better way to improve their business. Benches are a bit hard to sit on for elders, some pillows on a few seats would be nice. Otherwise beautiful interior, amazing take on Arab, Persian and Mediterranean dishes, saw prices went up, hope quality doesn't change.
