    Primal Athletics is an amazing gym that caters to individuals of all fitness levels and age groups. There is a sense of supportive community, learning and professional guidance each time you interact with Anna or any of her team members. The team is knowledgeable and consists of thorough professionals with expertise in tailoring programs to your physical and personal requirements. Both Anna and Reuben have been instrumental in guiding my teenage daughter towards her fitness goals. Anna is personable, caring and thoughtful, and has a wealth of information on training and fitness. I highly recommend Primal Athletics to everyone looking for fitness and nutrition related guidance and assistance.

    I have had so many trainers in the past, and they don't know what the f*@k they are doing. Then I met Anna and Ruben. These 2 are so amazing...not only are they knowledgeable, and practice what they preach, they are just overall really terrific people. Great facility, great classes and the one on one training cannot be beat.

    Excellent ! First place where I have been able to go consistently for last 3-4 months and hoping to continue for years to come. I take the boot camp classes and had a recent experience of taking a personal trainer session, which was also great. Here is why I highly recommend this place: 1. Highly professional & learned Coaches 2. Six classes per week (value for money), plus each day focuses on different body parts. 3. Proper warmup & stretches before getting into the intense workout session. Variety of exercises are amazing. 4. Coach demonstrates the exercises every single session to make sure it's done in the right way. 5. Balance btw Intensity of workout and proper form to do it right, without getting Injuries 6. Very welcoming environment and no-one feels left out. 7. Multiple offering beyond boot-camp classes, to cater to different audience & requirements Listen, if this place has motivated a lazy person like me to wake up at 5am everyday and attend 6-645am class, you can imagine 😀. There are different timings available if you are not a morning person. "Strongly recommend" to try it out folks. They have some free trial sessions these days so come & try it out ! you will love it...

    Love the Primal Family! The coaches practice what they preach, they genuinely care about each client and want to see everyone succeed. No gimmicks, no magic potions, no magic exercises pushed at this gym. Chris and Hollie are passionate about what they do, they motivate, they educate and most important they push each one of us to reach higher, set new goals. There is a very special atmosphere at primal, everyone is welcomed and we all root for each other! If you're looking for an upbeat gym where you will work hard, will be motivated and will look forward to your next workout, this is it!

    This boutique gym is equipped with the best personal trainers! They’re all highly trained to understand the body. They help you work through injuries, health conditions and tailor all their plans. My family and I love the team at Primal Athletics! Highly recommend!

    The bootcamp and powerlifting programs at Primal Athletics are so engaging, which helped me keep on track with my fitness routine. Anna, Reuben, and the rest of the trainers are very knowledgeable and deeply invested in getting the best results for their clients. It's been just over a year since I started and I've never felt better!

    Primal Athletics has been a huge asset to my overall well-being. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive making personal training sessions an effective experience. I sincerely appreciate their attention to detail to ensure that all movements and exercises are done safely with correct form. The gym itself is a welcoming and supportive environment that I wouldn’t hesitate recommending to anyone!

    Anna and Ruben are top notch. Their facility is clean, organized and modern with the latest training concepts that are custom designed for clients. Excellent experience at their gym recently where Ruben spent time training me on proper technique for Olympic lifting that I was not doing correctly myself. Give them a call, get a tour, meet the pros. Boutique style workouts are far more customizable to individual needs instead of general large gyms where people are doing their own thing (often incorrectly). Don’t hesitate to call Anna and Ruben at Primal for your consultation. Glad I finally went to see them. No regrets!

    Primal Athletics is truly an inspirational gym of this modern age. This place is not just about fitness but also tells your personal story i.e. your growth. I have been a part of their bootcamp program for over a year, which I believe has been one of the most successful decisions in my journey towards fitness. Their commitment to help us achieve our goals is exemplary. I would personally like to thanks Anna who has kept me motivated as a coach and also as a dear friend. This place has also earned great respect within the community which perfectly resonates with their dedicated team and happy customers. I recommend you to try it out and see it for yourself.

    I’ve been training at Primal for a year and primarily train powerlifting. The coaches here helped me reach strength and physique goals I have never been able to achieve alone or with other trainers - and I’ve had 5 trainers since 2015 before coming to Primal! With the help of primarily Reuben, my coach for powerlifting as well as nutrition, I’ve added 120lbs to my deadlift in 6 months and can now deadlift approximately 2x my body weight. I’ve also gained over 5lbs of lean mass and lost a modest percentage of body fat over the year. This is with training 4-6x a week (mix of PT, powerlifting classes, and solo training sessions) as well as cleaning up my diet. On top of helping me reach some strength and physique goals, Reuben has helped me bench with no neck strain by focusing on injury prevention. I used to get neck sprains benching where my range of motion would be reduced and turning my head hurt a lot. Overall, Anna and Reuben have built a very personable gym culture that a) they lead by example, b) is built on a core of premium education and proactivity, and c) is very tailored to the individual even in group settings. I highly recommend Primal if you’re committed to investing in a lifestyle, not shortcuts and gimmicks. And if gym culture is important to you, this place is largely non-judgemental, safe, and welcoming - with a demographic skewing middle age with kids. If you’re not a fan of typical co-ed commercial gyms like I am (I often prefer womens’ gyms or private gyms with limited membership), Primal could be a fit for you. This place will show you can reach heights you haven’t reached before and you will be more disciplined than ever.

    This gym is fantastic. Not only do they help you discover your goals (be it fitness or weight loss) the owner and trainers respect your starting point. I have family members who also attend and we've been going for 5+ years. I recommend to anyone who is ready to implement exercise into their lifestyle that they start here. Its because of them I love weight training.

    Primal Athletics is a gem in Oakville. The new owner Anna is welcoming and knowledgeable.They have a full service gym if you like to do your own routines or you can try 121 sessions or one of their bootcamps, their speciality and they also can help with nutritional guidelines.

    7 Months ago I had a knee injury and i was told to forget about running, because it is too bad for my knee. Couple of months ago i met Anna D'lorio form Primal Athletics boutique gym and she introduced to me the running clinic that she holding at the gym. I'm currently in the program and back to comfortably running 5k again , heading to 10K soon. This is because Anna ensures she works with the best coaches who have a good anatomy background, professional certification, and most important they get invested in your objective and progress rather than treating you like just another client. So grateful i joined their gym.

    I love my workouts at Primal! The bootcamp classes are excellent - you can easily make them as hard as you want them to be. The variety of exercises are great, and Anna, Reuben and Matt are fantastic instructors. Always offering tips on form to help avoid injury and also to make the moves more effective!! Personal Training is fantastic, too! Having that personal attention during a workout can really take your fitness to the next level! 5 stars - would definitely recommend. 😊

    It’s amazing what a little bit of exercise can do to make you feel better. After a few sessions with Primal Athletics, I was feeling energized and sharper. They take a very personalized approach which is great. Furthermore, I never felt pressured to purchase more sessions or commit long term. If you need accountability and motivation to improve your physical health then I would recommend you visit Primal Athletics.

    Primal Athletics is not your regular gym - it’s a highly customized, personal fitness program that will get the results you want. It has a friendly, no judgement, no pressure environment and super friendly instructors. If your goal is to be healthier, have more energy, recover from injuries, or simply lose weight, contact Anna and she will give you the best advice. I highly recommend Primal Athletics for everyone looking for something different and more effective than just having access to equipment to increase muscle mass.

    I joined Primal Athletics last August and couldn’t be happier with my decision. The gym owner Anna, one of the trainers, have created a friendly atmosphere that attracts knowledgeable trainers and interesting clients and truly cares about her clients and their well-being. The gym is clean and organized. The trainers are professional and caring. They have flexible class hours, and the workouts are designed to train different body parts for every day of the week. The class duration is 45 minutes (not too long and not too short), and the exercises are fun and different every week. I also have been taking weekly personal training, and the result has been great. Rueben, my trainer, has taught me the strength training techniques that avoid injury and make my muscles strong - he has helped me to have painless knees. Thank you, Anna, Reuben. You both are great, and I look forward to continuing my training and health journey with you guys!

    After seeing the amazing transformation of a friend I decided to join Primal Athletics. My goal was to loose weight, get strong & overall feel better. It has been about 5 months & I couldnt be happier. I have lost weight & inches & are finally fitting into my small clothes. I have more energy & feel healthier. With Chris’s nutrition plan & boot camp classes I was able to reach my goal. The classes are amazing, just the right size, where you feel more then just another body in a large gym.     Signing up with Primal Athletics was one of the BEST Thing I have ever done . My trainers : Chris Messenger and Phil Bougram help me achieve my goals so far and I love my Personal Training sessions. They made it fun & enjoyable to train and they are very motivating and encouraging . I actually look forward to my workouts , they ensured that my technique is always correct to avoid injuries. I highly recommend Chris Messenger and Phil Bougram and the entire Primal Athletics team for their professionalism & passion for what they do.

    This is a great gym with a fantastic community spirit! The boot camps are fun and engaging, where you are encouraged to improve your physical conditioning in a safe manner, under the guidance of knowledgeable coaches. The staff are welcoming for all fitness levels and will provide expert guidance for you to train at your own pace.

    This is a fantastic gym!! Excellent personal training, Reuben is terrific!!! The workouts are fun, the fellow members are inspiring, the workouts are led by personal trainers who give hands on instant feedback and adjustments during the workouts.I’ve been going for a little bit and am already seeing a big change in my energy levels and body!

    This is one of the most professional and yet friendly gyms i have been to. I am a cyclist and had a few injury issues i could not get passed on my own so i picked up some personal training sessions with Reuben. All the issues are behind me now and i am back riding again. He seemed to know where to focus my efforts to improve strength, flexibility, and eliminate the knee and back pains. I also attended a series of cycling focused boot camps....killer but effective. ... From the owner - Anna, to the trainers Reuben and Matt, the focus is on getting the athlete to be the best they can be....and making their best, better with each visit. I highly recommend this place.

    The running clinic has been one of the best things I’ve done for myself in a long time! In just one session, I was reformed and rejuvenated in spirit and soul - and as a runner! The entire team at Primal Athletics has been wonderful to work with. I feel so happy and comfortable with them, the energy at Primal Athletics is top notch. I highly reccommend them!
