I have been ordering from Maurya’s for a few years now and it is definitely a go-to in Bronte! They do stuff rotis as an option when you order a dish as an add-on… DELICIOUS and a must try! All the veg and meat dishes are fantastic and they have good spice levels, the spicier the better. They do lamb curries very nice. The appetizers, especially the cauliflower is delicious!! Nice, crisp and has a good sauce. The service (in-person and delivery) has always been good. Haven’t tried dining in but they do have a good space with a lot of seating. Parking is also available at the store front but it is limited. I also see they use boxes now instead of the black containers, that is a good change.

Online order review : * Veggie bullets are not worth the price. Served 2 but too small even for a quick bite :/ * I was a fan of their garlic rotis but recently my online order rotis are not as fresh as they used to be, which is quite disappointing. Updated: Ordered their Garlic crispy cauliflower was it was yum!! Just the right amount of sweet and crisp! Their Garlic roti with paneer tikka masala is a must try ❤️ed it !!! Tried this indian place and their chicken biryani was really tasty! All the flavors are there and the chicken was tender! Do give it a try 👍 Samosa Chaat was okay okay for me. Was served some papads too - on the house. The staff was very friendly. If you are in the area, do check them out as the food is healthy and cooked in less oil.. thumbs up for that! 💯

Amazing Indian restaurant in Oakville! Loved the food and I highly recommend it. We got saag panner, chicken curry and Tawa roti as take out. Everything was really good, particularly the saag paneer! While we got takeout, the dine in restaurant also looked beautiful and would definitely want to try the dine in experience next time.

During the month of August 2022, we have eaten two times at Maurya Indian Twist, Oakville and here is our experience: 1. Monday, August 8, 2022 – Dine in – Lunch i. Welcome and Greetings – The staff (Santosh) was very warm and welcomed us to the restaurant ii. Menu Selection – Chef Preseed guided us in the menu selection and educated us on the “No Oil” cooking. We were curious to know how Indian food would taste without the use of oil. The dishes we ordered were a. starter - Honey Garlic cauliflower sizzler b. Veg Vindaloo curry c. Plain and garlic Rumali roti d. Butter chicken and e. Veg Biryani iii. My review: a. Honey Garlic Cauliflower was unique, never eaten this before, and loved it b. Veg Vindaloo curry – liked the gravy, and found it tasty and different from the usual Indian restaurants (Spoke to the Chef and he informed us that they make their own sauce, and it is not purchased in bulk from any factory, like most Indian restaurants do) c. Rumali rotis were soft and tasty d. Butter chicken (my friend said it was tasty. I am a vegetarian 😊) e. Veg Biryani – WOW!! This is the first time that I have eaten biryani “NOT SOAKED IN OIL.” It was very tasty, and I got to speak to the Chef on how they make the biryani 😊 Me and colleague/ friend had an excellent experience and we left with the feeling that we are coming back soon. Thanks to Santosh and Chef Preseed for taking good care of me and colleague/friend. Planning the second trip: On getting back to my home in Markham, I shared with family the YUMMY food and GREAT customer experience. The opportunity came within the next few weeks for a second visit😊 2. Saturday, August 20, 2022 – Take Out Our family was in Oakville for lunch at a friend’s place, and we all wanted to do a takeout of the Veg. Biryani for dinner. i. Welcome and Greetings – Mr. Jagadish greeted us and took our order. We then sat in the dine in area while waiting for the biryani to be ready. (We used the rest rooms and they were very clean) ii. Decorations/Ambience – When we first visited on August 8 the deco was being done, but this time around it was complete. The deco was UNIQUE and tastefully done, and gave the restaurant warmth, welcoming and made us feel relaxed. I am sharing some photos with this review. iii. Customer Care – Mr. Jagadish was truly kind to our young daughter and packed her a few ‘Gulab Jamuns.” She was thrilled and started to eat them once in the car 😊 iv. Customer Service – Swati was the server and provided us service with a SMILE! v. Families review of the Biryani: Daughter and wife loved the Biryani, and again the “NO OIL” was very evident and appreciated. Thanks Mr. Jagadish and Chef Preseed for providing good service. We ae now looking forward to our next dine in experience.

I recently dined at Mayura Indian Twist and I must say, the food is absolutely delicious! They offer a wide variety of Indian dishes, and every option I tried was packed with flavor. I highly recommend Mayura Indian Twist to anyone craving authentic and tasty Indian cuisine.

The interior decorations were splendid and the food was even better. Customer service was above the average and this is a perfect place to have a Friday night date.

We ordered both Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian dishes. All were good, well done and as per request.

Fantastic tasting food with a more than accommodating staff. As a person who grew up with a lot of Indian and African cuisine very authentic and very good. Ps keep that in mind when ordering spice levels! I chose 6/10 thinking it would be a good mellow heat but I was out of my depth! Fantastic spot

The food is absolutely delicious! I order from this restaurant quite often and have never felt disappointed. I also enjoy their friendly service. I highly recommend this restaurant 👌

If you're looking for an Indian restaurant in Oakville, look no further than Maurya Indian Twist on Lakeshore. This restaurant started off as a takeout place prior to the pandemic and expanded to include a dining area for patrons. For starters, the samosa chaat is a delicious medley of flavors which include everything that you love about a crispy samosa combined with chutney and spices. We tried the medium spiced lamb saag, which we devoured with buttered naan. The lamb was juicy, tender and well seasoned in the spinach based curry, which was just the perfect amount of spiciness for our palette. The butter chicken roti was another flavour explosion that tasted great and was massive enough to take half of it home for the next day's lunch. The presentation of all of the dishes was also "Instagram-worthy." I highly recommend giving this 5-star Indian restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed except for the reality that you might not have space to devour their dessert options.

This is the best chilli paneer in town. Absolutely incredible just like a family member used to make it. I also ordered the butter chicken and the heat levels on Uber eats are soooo appreciated. Perfect heat. This is a great Indian place and THE BEST chilli paneer in town. I don’t think you will be disappointed if you order here.👍

The food is always great here. I've been to the location in Dundas a few times and this is also very good. The takeout side seems to be much busier and so the service was a bit slow but the staff are warm and welcoming. I had the lamb vindaloo and ordered it a 12 out of 10 for heat. It was hot. Rice, roti, all good as well and a decent selection of beer by the bottle. It was a bit quiet which effects the atmosphere. One washroom was a disaster and the other very nice and clean so I blame a patron and not the staff who probably had no idea. I would definitely visit again or get takeout from here.

Chicken biryani was awesome and overall ambiance of place is really nice and cozy. Do try this if you wanna aunthentic taste of india.

Friendly, kind staff. Great atmosphere. Food as always is phenomenal!! My daughter enjoyed the Butter chicken Poutine and I had the Butter chicken Roti. Spice level was perfect for both of us and the flavours explosive. I had eaten it to fast for a photo, but when ever we are in Oakville it’s one of my favourite spots!

These good people serve very tasty Indian and fusion foods in generous portions at reasonable prices. The location could benefit from a deep cleaning but food is amazing.

RESTAURANT SPACE- well decorated, quaint and comfortable.there is an eat in section for dining and a take out side to this place. SERVICE: we were the only ones sitting inside this restaurant at the time, although the take out seemed quite busy. The staff were pleasant and very friendly, however we had to catch their attention to let them know we wanted to sit and dine in as they seemed pre-occupied with the take out side. The staff were very nice but certainly not attentive and it didn’t feel like a dining experience. FOOD: The menu seemed to have lots of options for all types of appetites. Vegan, vegetarian and meat lovers. We ordered the butter chicken, chicken vindaloo and a cauliflower curry. The butter chicken was nothing like we have ever had before. In fact, I wouldn’t call it butter chicken at all. It was ok, but not a tomato creamy sauce, but rather a stew like sauce with little flavour. The chicken vindaloo had nice pieces of white, tender meat, but the sauce was definitely not a vindaloo sauce. It had an overpowering orange peel taste infused in it, which I’m pretty sure is not part of this recipe at most places. I would pass on this in the future. The cauliflower and potato curry was decent, but again more like a stew and very bland. The roti was good, but nothing to brag about. CLEANLINESS: The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. Overall, I would only give this restaurant the 4* because they were nice. This was definitely not a style of Indian food that I have ever had or want to have again. Very bland and not full of flavours. The fact that the restaurant was empty should have been a big warning sign. The food here was edible but definitely not something I would recommend if you like good Indian food.

Was craving good Indian food so decided to give this place a try. Enjoyable experience all around. Had the lamb tikka w/ rice (hot option). The spice and flavours were very aromatic and tasty. Service was super friendly. The atmosphere was very clean and nice as well. Would definitely come back to try other menu items.

Finally found a Indian restaurant that serves real spicy food. The rest of them are westernized and too soft on spice level. I ordered chicken curry here the on with rice. Now i like the flavor and spice level but my concern is the rice. I paid extra for it but i got very small portion of rice. On the pic below, the curry is on top of rice. The rice here are just on the side, but not the middle. I just wished they put more rice since we’re paying extra for it anyway. Other than that, their food is good.

The fusion food is amazing. We tried butter chicken poutine and lamb poutine, the gravy is exactly as Indian gravy,they provide generous portions of chicken and lamb and overall the fusion is very very very tasty. We were served by Nitin,he is very courteous and friendly and quick with the service. Must try if you are in the vicinity.

I asked for 6/10 spice level this was definitely 12/10 I couldn’t finish it. The biryani is boneless chicken which is not mentioned on the menu. Just white meat. The taste is not bad but not worth 15.95. It just looks like the rice are dipped in some kind of curry

Amazing food and ambience! We ordered saag lamb and malai koftas. The lamb dish was great and the malai koftas were the best we ever had!! The portion size is great and the food is value for money.
