Stopped here to grab green tea 🍵 and got the carrot 🥕 cake! It was amazing! Best carrot cake I have ever had. Highly recommend.

I had a very tasty matcha latte with some mint ice cream. The two servers were a treat to deal with. Both beautiful and spirit and body. The ice cream was very minty and absolutely delicious. It is made on site. The latte was outstanding. I was given a green spoon to match. As I walked along the harbor front enjoying my ice cream and latte I was nothing but smiles. They truly lifted my day. Great work! I don't remember your names but I do remember your smiles.

Very fresh and tasty carrot cake.

Nestled in the heart of Bronte Village, this new building small store serves up some delicious gelato. While the quality is good, it's worth noting that it's a bit on the pricey side. The only drawback is the limited seating area, which could use some expansion for a more comfortable experience.

Saturday morning there was no variety at all. Just lots of ice cream. The almond apricot cake was ok, but I wouldn't buy it again.

A lot of gelato options and cakes, no place to sit, there are two pairs of red chairs outside the shop, that’s it. The espresso is not the best, too bitter and off the balance, no any kind of notes, just pure bitterness. The pistachio latte tastes like artificial flavour, overall don’t come here for the coffee.

Chestnut’s Cafe has a wonderful selection of Gelato made in house. The Gelato was extremely flavourful and I cannot wait to go back. Next time I’ll be trying the baked goods that look equally delicious.

They claim to have the best carrot cake in the world and YES THEY DO!!Everything was delicious. You’ll have to be patient and wait for your order though, but is totally worth it!

Too expensive for no taste. Had hot chocolate and ended up throwing it out seema lime it's just a family hangout versus a Cafe that prides itself on quality items

Great selection of gelato flavours. The fruit gelato have real pieces of fruit, warm, friendly service, cute patio! Must try, the best pistachio gelato I have had!

If I could give this place zero stars - I would! My mom ordered this cake for a friends birthday, they took prepayment and then forgot about the order. When my mom arrived day off, this is what she was handed! How is this a $62 cake?!?!?? Horrendous!! Terrible experience and will never be ordering again!!

The ice cream and almond apricot cake were amazing and I recommend the watermelon and cherry chocolate if you want a amazing ice cream combo please come to this place for amazing ice cream and other cakes.

Every time I have visited the chestnuts cafe I’ve had lovely interactions with the shop owners. Very kind people and down to earth. The treats are also awesome - carrot cake is definitely my favourite. Everything is delicious though and homemade including the gelato which is cool. Need to go more often!

Stopped by to try the carrot cake but was late, they run out towards the end of the day! Tried the hazelnut prune cake which was a delightful surprise! And gluten free. Really enjoyed the flavour and texture of this cake!

One of Thhheee best Hazelnut chocolate gelato ever. Nice small shop beautifully placed in front of lake. Their carrot cake is alao v tasty. No preservatives and all producta are home made. Re ommend a visit when in oakville.

Yummy!! Have visited this cosy cafe twice because I always find it welcoming even though there are tones of coffee places around Brontë park. Tried to carrot cake and chocolate fudge cake. Both oh so delicious. However on my last visit the carrot cake fell short of expectations — would recommend them not to add pineapples because it took away the authenticity of carrot cake. Other than that nice cosy place for coffee and cake. I also tried their frozen yogurt which was also quite decent in taste. Place is run by two very sweet ladies. Always a smile on their faces and they’ll recommend you stuff based on your preference.

The women who run this cafe are so incredibly wonderful. If you say ‘what’s that flavour like!’ Before the words are even out of your mouth they’re making sure you get a sample. Reading other reviews complaining out it be slow makes me have a giggle. My god when did the best things in life ever be rushed! There’s a beautiful view to watch in the meantime! Small, no sitting room, but they're working on a patio. Food is well worth it. Delicious house made Gelato. I recommend the pistachio. Chicken salad sandwich is also delicious. I suspect they might even make their own bread. Staff was friendly and great.
