Service is great, the server was really fast and made adjustments to the order as per the options required. They have a bunch of options of burgers to choose from. Patio dining is a nice option, however, the furniture isn’t comfortable seating. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is Okish, not a good ambiance. The food quality is good but quantity/size makes it a bit on expensive side.

Tried for the first time with a friend. Did not disappoint. Had the goat cheese burger, regular fries and sweet potato fries (with the aioli). Loved the pepsi served in a measuring cup 😋 Bailey our waitress was amazing. One of the best i’ve come across at any restaurant. This place is lucky to have her. Big thank u to her for the excellent service and attention to details. Will be back to try more stuff

We’ve lived downtown for the last 10 years or so and visited The Works many times. Sad to say that things have started to progressively go down hill at this location. The hostess is completely clueless - a few weeks ago she told us to come back some time later because the kitchen was too busy (even though there were a bunch of empty tables) and most recently, we asked her for a seat on the patio (which she can see from her hostess stand) and she was super hesitant and unsure if we could get a table - even though there were 5+ tables totally empty. Food quality is inconsistent - my last meal there was awful. Salad (aka “weeds”) might as well have been weeds picked from someone’s lawn - carrots, lettuce and tomatoes were brown, vegan burger option had awful “bacon strips” and French fries are no longer the fresh cut ones they used to be. Patio floor was full of pieces of food, napkins and garbage. Table was not wiped down prior to seating - we had to dust it off ourselves. And if you’ve ever been curious about what the descent into hell might be like - well, look no further - take a stroll down to their washrooms - the hottest, most humid, dark and dingiest experience youll ever have. The whole place just gives me the ick. It’s like they stopped caring and no one upholds quality standards. The one thing I know for sure - patio season will come and go and downtown restaurants will start rely on locals through the off-season. New restaurants will start to pop up and pull away once loyal customers. They shouldn’t rest on their laurels. I truly hope they will work to improve things and make a comeback. And the only reason I gave this review 2 stars instead of 1 is because our server was friendly and helpful.

Busy restaurant with a superman server. We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated which was interesting observation. The ladies (3 of them) on the reception desk were just going around without achieving anything. We alsk observed one server running back and forth serving the busy patio. When we were seated we were surprise to see the same server who is serving the patio is taking our order. He was courticious, sharp, nice and very accommodating. We both ordered burgers one with sweet fries the other with onion rings. Delicious tasty full of flavour. For burger patties You can choose from chicken, beef, vegetarian, and kobe beef. I wanted chop top beer which they did not have but they made one by adding orange to Ambet beer and it tasted exactly as the original. We had a very delicious good meal and we will be back. I want to highlight that Andre our host/server. He is an extremely sharp and hard worker. You should try the WORK when you visit Oakville.

One of the best burger I’ve had here in Ontario! I’ve had The Taste of Heaven! Delicious! The place is such a great vibe, and our waitress, Rachel, has been very welcoming and helped a lot to select the Orion that more fitted us! I definitely recommend this place!

First time at Works Burgers and it was good. Had the Obi Wan kobe on black and white sesame bun with onion rings. Meat was cooked nicely and the rings were perfect. The food took a while to come, there were only four of us and it wasn't too busy. Otherwise could've been a 5 star. We'll go back for sure, would recommend.

Probably the best burgers I’ve ever had. Ordered the “Bacon You Fancy Huh?” The burger really melts in your mouth! LOVE the UNLIMITED FRIES! On top of that, it’s one of the very few restaurants to serve my favourite beer… Moosehead! The staff are very friendly and dutiful. Will definitely be going back!!

Say down at 2:45 pm Sunday June 25 - waited forever to have a server come to the table. Waited even longer for food to come. I ordered one of the lunch specials - a pulled pork special - it was delicious but cold and the sweet potato fries arrived stone cold like they had been taken out of the fridge. They replaced them with an order piping hot but over cooked as if they put already cooked and cold fries into the fryer. My husbands burger was delicious They offered a coupon for the next visit but we were travelling and don’t live close so they took off my husbands beer from the bill. Got home and discovered they charged us for my soft drink that was supposed to be included in the special. It was not that busy when we were there. So disappointing. Nice guy who served us but so disappointing.

The waitress was nice, but we waited over 40 minutes for our food, only for one of our orders to be wrong. The appetizers came almost immediately and were great, but the burgers left for more to be wanted. The onions were burned, and the meat felt tough. The chips on the side were chewy instead of crunch, and had literally no seasoning. The same could be said for the fries.

Had to wait a bit to be seated, but it was a great day for a walk. Sat outside on the patio. Server was great, explained everything and offered to bring multiple sauces for us to try. Had to wait a bit longer for our food to arrive as it was busy, and the server brought us a plate of fries on the house! Great service, delicious food, and cold beers! Definitely coming back!

Food was just ok. I was hoping for fresh cut fries 🍟 or fresh crispy chicken. But it was like frozen heated stuff. Customer Service was good and fast!

First time eating at this resturant. Delicious food, perfectly cooked burger. Outstanding customer service, our waiter Andrew was kind and patient. He gave us great suggestions for what to order. We took a long time reading the menu to decide, lots of options to be considered. They have a blue cheese ranch sauce that was out of this world. Will definitely be returning.

Subpar food and poor service went to the works for my anniversary with my girlfriend and I usually enjoy the food at the works however, lately the food has gone down in quality. The fries were cold as if they had been sitting out for a while which makes sense as the two of us had been waiting for a while. The meat on my girlfriend’s burger looked questionable almost a little too pink in the middle. Later that night she began to feel very sick and nauseous. overall not a great experience.

When you want a great burger the Works is the best, you pick the meat, bun, sides...and it is hard to go wrong.

Definitely never going back here. Firstly the place was boiling hot. I had to wait an hour or so FOR A SINGLE BURGER. Other people were being served before us and it left me very upset. To top it all off when we were leaving I payed by debit and was given no tip option so i just tapped. After i checked my bill and i somehow left the waitress a $10 tip??? It’s almost as if she put it in herself but when confronting her she said “oh maybe you just accidentally clicked it” which is 100% a lie, i never even touched the machine. She is tipping herself and hoping people don’t notice which is absurd. The chefs are super slow and only know how to make onion rings it seems like. My food was pretty good but not worth the wait or money. Never go to this location ever. Staff are clearly all over the place and lost. 1 star.

The food took 45 minutes to get, even though we were one of the last two groups here. When I finally got my order, I got a chicken breast patty instead of a beef one. Although I was a bit upset, the food tasted good. The fries were also decently cold as well... sadly. They gave me a free two-can-dine, which made up for some of it.

I must say i miss licks burgers lol but the works does truly line right up with there outstanding tasty burgers…not a fan of the fries at all ..

Reached around 5:30 pm so got seated soon. The burgers are easy to eat as they are not loaded. Like the sauce and patties. The sweet potato fries were great. Loved my cocktail with lemonada and ice tea. The servers are very polite. Tons of bees aroung on the patio, which I was not bothered by. I appreciate that they did not try to kill the bees wiyh some random spray. Much appreciated! The measuring jars for glasses were unique. And paper straws are definitely appreciated.

The getting piggy with it buger was really good. Every Bute tasted so good. Filled with chicken and pork would definitely go back here and recommend this place. The bottom less fries was a bonus but with the size of food you get really not needed. Drinks served in a measuring cup was unique. Waiters were very helpful in recommending products and help to customize it just way I wanted. The way they checked to see if you needed anything else as they walled by made it a good expirence.

Honestly probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I work in the hospitality industry and understand the regulations around food safety. My burger was served to me very rare. This is absolutely not allowed according to the Ontario food regulations. I was so disappointed. When my server asked if everything was alright I told her and she just said “I’ll get you a new one” and over half an hour later she finally comes back to the table for the first time since with a new burger in hand. No apology, and no manager in sight. Frankly I wouldn’t be so mad about the raw burger if the service wasn’t so bad. There was two teenage girls running place who couldn’t even speak respectfully on the floor. I would understand if the place was busy but there was one other table in the place.
