I should read the review before I order from here. This is the worst Sushi place I have ever had... the skin of the tempura is rock solid, which hurt my tongue. The sushi from a convenience store is much better than here.

Tried this place 3/4 times despite the reviews. I placed an order for a spicy salmon roll and got brown raw salmon. I called the restaurant with my concern and they told me it was because of the spicy mayo and insisted it was fresh. I threw out the sushi and they didn't bother to offer any type of refund. I will not be back. There are better sushi places out there.

I have been coming here for years. Great staff, good food, great atmosphere.They have unique sushi rolls that other places don’t have.

First time to try this place. Good location with lots of parking. Greeted by staff as we got in, seated, table wasn’t cleaned (food crums), miso soup was watery not too flavourful, iceberg salad was ok. The chicken bento box was a good portion, the rice was hard and try (not the usual Japanese sticky rice), the sushi was good, chicken teriyaki was dry and tempura are heavy/greasy. Good service, you get discount if you pay cash.

WORST SUSHI EXPERIENCE EVER !!!!!!!!!! They never sent us the right amount of sashimi ever and the sashimi was so small (LOOK AT THE PICTURES) When questioned about the sashimi waitress reply was "we didn't think you would finish it" multiple times when we asked about our order the reply was "we didn't make we didn't think you would eat it" WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

Ordered on Uber eats: Seaweed salad had mold on the entire thing? The smell alone made me sick. Seriously questioned the integrity and overall food safety of my entire order. This completely ruined my meal and I will definitely not be returning/ordering from this place ever again.

if you want to order delivery sushi without middle man, this is the place to call! The owner is VERY THOUGHTFUL!! She noticed wrong food was delivered a day before and delivered what we ordered party tray B plus gorgeous dragon roll sushi!! This store really values on trust. The party tray B is reasonable price with store's own delivery service!!

First time here for lunch on a weekend.. service was quick and food was tasty . Place was gonna say with lots of ppl coming in and orders going out for takeouts! Worth the visit and will be coming back again

Ordered from this sushi spot recently through Uber Eats. Found their portions and pricing to be great and very reasonable. They are a little stingy with their spicy mayo so less one star for that. I feel that spicy mayo is a huge component to their spicy rolls that are lacking that key condiment. However overall I would recommend and will order from this location again in the future!

Can't believe all the negative reviews I'm seeing here. This a go-to place for my family and I. We've eaten at Sushi Hour dozens of times over the last 5+ years. The Sushi has always been fresh, high quality, and big portions compared to other AYCE places. Love dining in or taking to go. Their salmon family meal is perfect for single person take out.

Went there for all you can eat lunch.the waitress told us that the kitchen is closing for lunch and we cant order anymore (after 40 minutes) but they accepted another costumer for lunch all you can eat! The chef laughed loud at my order and made fun of me for ordering my third handmade sushi just to make me uneasy. Why do you have all you can eat if you cant afford it?!

I went with my friends once, we were the only people in the restaurant and wanted to stay for a couple of minutes after paying to finish our conversation. THEN the waitress tells us in a very aggressive way to get out, basically kicking us out. We told her we would leave in a couple of minutes, then she proceeded to mumble under her breath in a foreign language we wouldn't understand, further displaying lack of respect. It only got worse when she THREW my friend's keys at her and PULLED my sister's chair while she was still seated. What horrible customer service. She had no right to do that, no matter the circumstances. ESPECIALLY considering we were all minors who had done nothing but try to have a nice dinner. Would not recommend this place.

Warning: scam artists They will add service charges on your bill and pass you the machine prompting for a tip without mentioning the included fee. BEWARE and ask if they have included the fee. Actually, don't go at all because the sushi is left in the refrigerator, calamari from the freezer. The ice cream was disgusting.

Terrible sushi - we ordered delivery through uber eats and I can say it was not fresh at all. The salmon and tuna has skin on them. Customer service isn’t the best! Our meal went straight to the trash.

we (4 persons)went to this friday (july 29,2022) for the lunch, first table and only one table during 11:30-12:30pm. the service is terrible. we ordered 10 pieces sashami, however, we wait for 20 minutes still no sashami coming, they seems ( push) you just eat fried rice, since it is lunch hours, we feel hungry, just eat rice, why, because rice is cheaper, and salmon is expensive, you went to a japanese restaurant paying all-you-can-eat, they intended to make more profit just making you eat more rice, and hesitating to provide salmon. btw, finally after talking to waitress, sashami is coming, the sashami piece is so tiny, you cannot believe it. similar restaurant like spoon and fork, their size of sashami is 2-3 times of sushi hours. man, what kind of restaurant, service and quality so mean, no wonder just one table during the friday lunch hours. they wish you just ate total cost of 3-5 dollars food, and ending up you paying 25 dollars for each person( including tax and tip). dont go to such a mean restaurant any more, disgusting.

Food was solid and for the price not too bad. Great for sashimi. Customer service was horrible, attitude when asking for assistance. Had to keep arm up for minutes to get attention. Overall, if you don't care for service but want affordable ayce sushi, this is a solid spot.

Worst experience with this restaurant. We ordered fried rice and dynamite sushi on Uber when it’s specifically stated on Uber that if we buy one, we get one for free but we received only one. Totally fraud. I called in and received a really unsatisfied answer with bad attitude and hung up my call. 1 star for customer service. Also, how can you eat fried rice and soup without a spoon? We called and the lady said thats how their restaurant works. Their customers eat fried rice and soup with chopsticks and fork. Plus, how can you guys be so cheap that we ordered 2 portions of foods and only gave us 1 spare of chopsticks. Worst nightmare. Never comeback again and would not recommend anyone to try the place.

Very disappointed, so much so that I'm writing this and I never write reviews, especially negative one. I bought a party platter for Oscar night. The entire platter was BLAND. Every sushi and maki piece tasted the same, and they all tasted like rice. The ingredients were not fresh, visually so, and the taste was non-existent. It was such a waste of money. If I had been eating in, I would of demanded my money back. But given that I took this away to a hotel, it's harder to do so. I'm sorry to say, that this was the first time I've ever been disappointed with a platter of sushi anywhere.

They've changed everything. Renovations created a cold fast food atmosphere. Very cold inside, it felt colder than outside. Chinese style restaurant. The previous was so warm, welcoming, nice furniture, more japanese

I got Box 1 Chicken Teriyaki take-out and the portion size was generous for the price. However, the chicken was dry. The tuna nigiri sushi that I added to the order had the color of a bright pink eraser, and the taste of the fish had a very off-putting, almost nitrate taste to it. The fish portion was also small (thin and narrow) and the form factor / rice-to-fish ratio of the piece of sushi was new to me! I ended up throwing away the sushi.

Not sure why the reviews are so horrible, although because of the reviews I avoided anything raw. I got my son the beef rib combo which was ALOT of food for the price. I added some shrimp tempura for free delivery and also got spring rolls for free. Was a bang for your buck and the Cali roll wasn’t bad. For 23$ we got 8 beef ribs, rice, mixed veggies , veg tempura, salad (my biggest disappointment lol just iceberg lettuce and dressing loool, gyozas a miso soup and some super fresh orange slices. Food was more than edible the price was good so no complaints other than my salad 😂 Update: So I now order here regularly, we still always get the beef ribs combo my sons fave. He gets ribs and rice I steal his soup salad and tempura lol. New items I’ve tried is the grilled squid it was delicious. The beef ribs combo is so big that with the squid I could probably feed 2 people and a kid… But my ultimate fave is the salmon salad maki roll (there’s no rice and it’s wrapped with cucumber) sooooo delicious (so I have adventured into their raw food it’s super fresh) Since moving to east Oakville the amount of money I’ve wasted on food that’s super expensive im trying to write my reviews more because I feel like more people should Because the diversity isn’t the best here so it’s exciting when finding a gem that delivers !

I’ve been going here for years and I can definitely say that the sushi (crunchy maki specifically) has been consistently great. The meat is always fresh, place is always busy, and they re-did their walls and ceiling a couple years back so it looks pretty. I would rate it a 5/5 but the customer service isn’t always great. The girls look like they hate you and their jobs, but food is cheap and good so I don’t mind 😂

Good food but $40 dinner on Friday night, not so cheap, also was served a random chicken fried rice, bad move… but really good sashimi and all the food was perfect that night! Servers are nice.

Food was very good, wait time and attention were good as well. AYCE is very convenient and has great price for kids too... Food quality was excellent! Been there twice in the last month and it is becoming our favorite sushi nearby..

We experienced extremely poor customer service during our dining. Despite being the only customers in the restaurant, after paying and sitting for a moment, a staff member approached us in a very rude manner, insisting we leave, basically kicking us out. Shockingly, she THREW my keys AT ME from the nearby table and PHYSICALLY PULLED my friend's chair away while they were still seated, dragging them away from our table. This not only demonstrated an extreme lack of respect and terrible customer service but also left us, as minors, feeling genuinely threatened due to the AGGRESSIVE behavior.
