To say that this is the best sushi place in Oakville is an understatement. I can go as far as saying this is the best sushi restaurant in the GTA. The quality of food, the price, the atmosphere, everything is beyond perfect. I have been coming here for years and I am always floored by the quality of food. You need to eat here if you haven’t, you are truly missing out.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been here twice now and will continue to come back. The owners are so kind and genuine. All the food I’ve tried has been delicious. We ordered the spicy seaweed salad, gyoza, tuna roll and spider roll. 10/10 would recommend!

This is the cutest little sushi place. Ive never had sushi better ever in my life. The older lady server is the sweetest lady ever. The food was great and the price was so reasonable. Its not all you can eat so if you are really hungry the bill might be a little too high, but definitely worth it. If you are ever in that area please make sure to go have sushi there!!!

We ran into the place when it was just opening on Good Friday. The first feeling is very cozy and authentic. We saw an old gentleman which i thought it must be a Chef but it turned out he was our server. We were trying to order quickly and because we had the train to catch to Toronto. He brought the food and i handled immediately my credit card. He told me”please slow down and enjoy the food”. I just suddenly realized… wait for a minute i had not tried the food. The food was outstanding. Fresh rice of sushi, fresh avocado in my roll, everything was so food. Moreover, i have learned the lesson to slow down. Go and try the authentic one and the cozy of the atmosphere. Thank You the old man for the reminder

Small nice sushi restaurant, without the fanfare and extra fluff. When I first saw the sushi I thought it was going to be mediocre but boy was I wrong. It was absolutely delicious! Got spicy salmon, spicy tuna, dynamite roll and all tasted great. Their prices are also great! They even put in 4 spring rolls on the house! Recommended to pay with debit or cash.

As a sushi expert, I moved to Canada 7 months back and this by far the best sushi spot for me until now. Sushi 10/10 Service 10/10 Value for money 10/10 Highly recommended

I never ate sushi before and this was my first experience. I’m hooked on sushi now as this place served me the most amazing meal!! I ordered tempura shrimp and 2 combos. The staff is extremely friendly. Highly recommend dining in for the experience. Washrooms very clean.

Ordered a Maki sushi platter for takeout. We called in and the person on the phone was extremely polite. The platter was ready for pickup within 30 minutes. I must say their sushi was extremely yummy. Me and my boyfriend finished 30 pieces together and I'm still craving for more of that dynamite roll!

It’s the best! We’ve been coming here for years. The fish is always fresh and the other dishes are super good too. Great value for both dine in and take out.

A solid choice for Japanese food if you want a simple and quick meal. I like that they offer a cup of brewed tea for free. I don't really like the texture of the teriyaki chicken though, a bit too tough for me. Maybe they are using chicken breast, wish it could be thighs. The freshly fried tempuras are really good.

Had a lovely and relaxing time at Wasabi & Teriyaki Japanese Restaurant today. I loved bento box #2 - tasty and delicious! (Wasabi is hot!)

If I could, I would give this restaurant 6/5 stars! Nowadays, when you go to a restaurant, they typically do the bare minimum (i.e. bringing out your food and drinks). But this restaurant, above and beyond! I’m vegetarian and the server/ chef made sure that my food came into no contact with anything non-vegetarian at all! Even the fish-based sauces! Such a cozy, cute place! And the food was incredible! Fair prices for great portions! Immaculate vibes - I’m definitely coming back!

This is a great sushi place. A great mix of affordability and quality. I'm not going to hold its atmosphere against it. The atmosphere is average but the owners and staff are so nice. I highly recommend.

High-quality sushi and great customer service. Definitely suggest trying the Mountain Roll.

A classical example of poor customer service with good ingredients. Dirty tissues and smelly water glasses. P.S they dont give water until insisted. Order something and they will debate with you endlessly even if you don’t want it. Salmon sashimi and maki roll was great. Calamari was nice and crunchy too. Didn’t enjoy the teriyaki chicken much as it was too watery and had very few chicken pieces. And then be ready to pay cash like all Asian places insist upon.

I came here for a quick dinner with my wife and it was absolutely amazing!!! The sushi was super fresh, came really quickly and the price was extremely affordable too! The washroom was even really nice and clean! 10/10 and highly recommended

Their sushi / tempura is amazing!!! Visited on a Friday night and this place was so busy! The lady serving us was such a sweetheart, checked in on us, made sure we were well served and was super friendly. Made the experience even better. For appetizers, I would highly recommend the calamari tempura (great texture and cooked perfectly, by far the best calamari we’ve had!) We also tried a Special Roll (pictured below) And a party tray to go, would recommend all of them!

Was craving some sushi, and saw positive reviews here so gave it a try. The place is very small, maybe 4-5 tables, but it has a very nice small mom and pop shop feel. The food here is excellent for a westernized sushi spot, so it has all the typical you expect. I tried their tempura, spicy salmon and tuna rolls. The tempura was well executed, nothing to complain about . The sushi was better than I expected, can taste the fish was fresh and not sat around a long time, and the rice was just right. Now the selection is not massive by any means, but what they do have they got right

We were looking for sushi places with higher and more trustworthy reviews so we can find a place to eat sushi. We came across this place and decided to come. From the outside, it looks a bit sketchy not gonna lie. However, once you have them ready to serve you (there's only like 4 tables so times range from when you'll be seated which is the only thing I dislike). However, they make up with you by bringing absolutely delicious and neatly prepared sushi that is worth your money. Tables are clean, polite people and amazing food, it's affordable which is great too. I'm a judgey person when it comes to hospitality environment but trust me their food will not disappoint you!
