Food was great, staff was not. She was so rude when I was ordering, because I didn't hear her then cut me off instead of allowing me to answer her question. Not sure why staff need to have airpods in? I get it's extremely tough right now, and fast food is super hard and sometimes we're having a bad day, but this was flat out rude when I didn't hear her.

A&W in Oakville Place Mall. Sadly have to say stay away! Went to the A&W restaurant in Oakville place mall on Jan 15th, 2022. I arrived 5:45 pm on a saturday which is 15min before they close. After waitng for almost 10min whilst the staff cleaned the floor they eventually decided to help me after I got their attention. The lady took the order and my payment...after about 5 min a young male came out and said we are closed! This was about 5 min before closing an I was awaiting my order, I told him I paid already and awaiting on my order... then with a rude gesture he gave me attitute and went back in! After another few minutes gave me my burgers with attitute, I took it and threw it in a bin outside thinking he might have done something to it. I am sorry but I will never go back again!

The kids working here are clueless and don’t have customers service skills. They forgot my order, standing in line for 15 minutes for a single breakfast sandwich. Other people order came through except mine!

A&W is a great fast food joint. We went to one of their restaurants in oakville. Service was perfect and food was served fresh & hot. I like the presentation & quantity of the meals - its really good. Their buns are soft & taste better than other fast food joints. Lots of options for combo meal! Defiantly gonna try again!

A&W oakville place is horrible and disrespectful. Ordered a mama burger combo and when I sat down and opened the bag and my fries were missing. No problem, hesd up to the cash and said I think you forgot the fries or did not charge me for them. I offered to pay the difference but she would not give the discount and wanted to charge me the whole price, $4.10 for a small fry without the combo discount. In spite I said forget it and went to New York fries and told them what happened, he gave me a small fry for 2 dollars because he felt bad. It is a shame that in today's world customer service it at an all time low. I worked in the resturant business for years and would have never treated a customer like that. Too be honest when we made a mistake like that we use to give the fries for free not try to double charge. The cashier would not give her name but it was Wednesday, July 26th, 2023 at 720 pm at night.

Very disgusting that i placed an order for 4 cheese and egg and they put them on hamburger buns and not English muffins. And i also placed an order for 4 French fries that had been only cooked half way. Asked for salt and they had been looking for. One girl kept touching her hair then face, Etc. Then she was handling food and not washing her hands. Glad she did not touch my food. But for this to happen it cost me so much then had to put it in the garbage the fries. To the owner, Yes I do have a Title and looks like Canada is getting worse with fast food. Cheers.!

Had to wait 17 minutes because they opened late. Had to wait another 34 minutes to get a breakfast combo. 51 minutes to get breakfast. Meanwhile I thought this is fast food. No hair nets and no gloves while handling bread and cheese slices.

I've been going to this A&W for years. But the last 4 or 5 times, I've been really disappointed. The burgers are pretty good, although once in a while, they're a bit soggy; but every time I order, the fries are cold and doughy, as if they've been sitting out for 20 minutes. Today, no exception. Also, I'd asked the server for 4 ketchups, a salt and a vinegar. I saw her take the packages, but I don't know where she put them, because I didn't get them in my bag. I ended up tossing the fries in the garbage.

Very poor customer service. My daughter wanted to try their kids meal, it was suppose to come with a burger, drink, side, and also a snack bar. When she finished her meal, we realized that we didn't get a snack bar so I went back to the counter to ask. The response was "we don't have any", and then when I asked whether there was anything that I could get instead, the answer was "no". So they actually basically scammed me by charging me full price while knowingly giving me less than what I paid for, and they didn't tell me. And then the attitude of "too bad" from the server is just simply bad business. Obviously this is not about a snack bar, this is about the customer care, which clearly does not matter to this A&W franchise. Will not eat here again.

Horrible, just ordered a beyond burger that normally tastes great and it has no flavour to it at all. Avoid this location if you can, it's trash.

April 9/22 Terrible service !! I will Never go back to this joke of a place !!! I Ordered a mama burger combo. First they over charged me, then they only placed the burger in the bag, no fries and no drink When I complained I was accused of not being clear when ordering .. no apologies , just a discussed look !! The fries were terrible . It tasted like burnt oil . I love AW , however this Oakville Place location is terrible …..

Went to Oakville place with a friend. We decided yo get a teen burger at A&W since the teen burgers were on sale for $3.99. Big mistake. The hamburgers were terrible. I ordered it with no mustard and no mayo. My friend ordered the same. We ordered onion rings with the hamburger. The onion rings were cold and tasteless. The hamburger my friend got had mayo and mustard -- even though we requested both without these items. She wiped off as much as she could of the stuff. The burgers were cold and tasteless. We had to ask for salt and pepper-- we got 1 salt an 1 pepper for 2 hamburgers and rings. I had to go back up to get more as that was not enough. This was a terrible meal. I don't plan to go back to A&W again.

As normal, this A&W blow my mind, and of course all the other A&Ws! I ordered the Teen Burger I believe and it was one of the best burgers I had have. I ordered as an combo so it came with the deli fries! The fries were crispy and mouth-watering! Definitely recommend this Fast Food Restaurant to anyone looking for great food! As always, great food makes great food!

They didn't have hash browns, and they tried to give me a higher price than what it was advertised for on the value menu. On top of that we were waiting 20 mins.

A&W is a pretty good place to eat. My family really like it because in places like McDonalds and Wendy’s, prices are like a gourmet restaurant for a meal that is not that good. At A&W you get a decent meal for a reasonable price.

I've never seen anything so slow. I waited 25 minutes for two burgers and it wasn't busy at all. The owner obviously doesn't know how to run a business like this

Bad service from people who don't know how to run a business. Blame the owners who don't pay their workers to prepare for the day. Who in their right mind would want to work in a place like this? Zero Stars would be given if I could...

Very fast service as compared to other food restaurants in mall specially on weekends Staff was very friendly and food was great I highly recommend this place if you dont want to wait in line

They opened 10 minutes late then they usual hours Place order , was told it will take 15 minutes to prepare , After 25 minutes, i went to check on the order Was told , it will take 10 more minutes as the grill is not heating up , They didn’t have the decency to inform clients about this earlier So Ridiculous

Was there on Thursday evening, just two people working and it was BUSY. Some very rude customers there but the guy working out front handled it very well. Despite a little wait, the food was delicious. Keep up the hard work! Wish I got his name, they both deserve a shoutout.

Awful service from beginning to end…. Placed a mobile order and after communicating that’s what I was there for I stood there for over 15 minutes with no communication on the timeline, then I asked what was going on I was told “you’re food is almost ready” as my break was over I asked for my money back and the manager basically threw it at me I will never ever go to this location again

This A&W has the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I waited 15 minutes at the counter for anyone to notice me, and another 20 minutes for my food to be served. Two ladies in the back were continuously talking, even making eye contact with me, and did not acknowledge me at all. This has happened to me multiple times with the same two ladies I’ve never experienced the worst customer service ever extremely disappointed
