Words can't describe how amazing this restaurant is - you MUST go and try for yourself. This is one of those places where you're almost guaranteed to have perfection in every sector, every time. Best breakfast, good prices, great coffee. We usually get pasta, wraps, salads & fries and while their fries are homemade and delicious, I'm never able to pass on their salad because their vegetables are ALWAYS fresh, ripe and so tasty. The service is above and beyond professorial. One of the best restaurants for genuinely great service and staff. My boyfriend refers to one of the servers as "motherly" as she gives off a very caring and loving vibe. You're always taken care of. They're all so great there... you would not be disappointed. This cute place we had lunch with friends . Weekday not busy at all and moreover they took a little more time then expected. we all love the food and was super fresh. Got Vegetarian Stir fry , chicken Mediterranean and breakfast dish . Place was clean and staff was friendly . Will definitely be returning with walk to the oakville harbour

Very nice restaurant in Bronte, portions are huge - i cannot believe the size of this one piece of schnitzel that completely covered the plate and the fries/veggies buried below it. I ate about 1/8 of the meat and the leftover will feed our family for tomorrow's dinner! Would rather be served smaller portion of food for smaller entree price (half portion option.) Fries are delicious !!!

Cool place! It looks like it's been remodelled recently or at least renovated. It's very clean, the food is generally good. I ordered the El Spero Breakfast, it is your standard American breakfast fare. It's not too greasy but for some reason it remains piping hot even 20 minutes into the meal - kinda weird. Anyways, the bacon is good, the sausages are ok and the potatoes are descent. The pancakes are a bit dry but overall very good. One of the glasses that we received had residue of lipstick on it, that was the only drawback.

We went for lunch today with some friends. We got schnitzel and had a very tasty and filling lunch. No room for dessert. Waiter was great. Very friendly and helpful.

Went for a jog near the Bronte Harbor on a Saturday morning. El Spero was the only restaurant that’s open around the time we finished the jog. Lovely breakfast menu. I especially love the fact that they have a “lighter side” breakfast. Perfect for a after-run breakfast. Tried my friend’s pancake. So fluffy. It was divine! They don’t have those fancy coffee. Just Americano with decaf option. Service was good and fast. The lady was direct and swift.

One of my favourite places to visit when I travel back home. I've been coming to El Spero for the better part of 40-years now, and the "new" location in Bronte is fantastic (where Licks used to be). Outstanding service, delicious food made with fresh ingredients, and a family-owned business atmosphere. Congrats on your 50-year anniversary and we'll see you again soon!

We had a great meal here. The food and service was excellent. My only issue is that it was a hot day and there didn't seem to be air conditioning on. Maybe it was because I was facing the sun and the blinds weren't really blocking it. Either way I would definitely still go back.

Family owned community restaurant. Great selection in the menu and great portion sizes. The El Spero breakfast pancakes were huge, fluffy and delicious!

Prices are pretty good in this day and age. Food looka decent aswell. The menu selection is fairly underwhelming given the name of the resteraunt. More classic pub fare than the fancy foreign cuisine the name suggests. So if this is what you're looking for you cant go wrong.

Love this place. I can't believe how great the service is - staff genuinely look happy to be there. A customer dropped their steak knife, and the hostess goes out of her way to rush to her table and offer a new one. You don't see that in so called 5 star restaurants. And many of the clients were on a first name basis. Wow. Of course, delicious food and large portions.

Excellent meals, consistently delicious; and I always enjoy them whether dine in, takeout or delivery. Today I had their turkey dinner delivered by Skip and have to send my compliments to the chefs. The meal was absolutely delicious. I appreciate that after 50 years of service I can count on generous servings and wonderful staff providing superior service. Kudos!!
