I really wanted to like this place. I read all the amazing reviews on yelp and was super excited to try it. I love when restaurants puts a twist to Asian food! Mind you the reviews were all old over a year ago. Since COVID I did noticed most restaurants quality post COVID has gone down. Ambiance: It's pretty small with a few tables. Decor is pretty cute and modern. Also super clean with one unisex washroom. You order at the counter and seat yourself like a fast food place. Service: Service was good. The lady took our order and the food came pretty quick. We also got there at 1:30pm so it was empty. Food: We ordered a easy as pie milkshake which is like you apple pie in a milkshake! Pretty cool idea. The pics on the website looks great. However in reality it didn't look like the website pic at all. Just white milkshake. There are tiny chunks of apple/ cookies and a hint of cinnamon. But overall tasteless and not sweet. It's was like I was drinking ice milk with some texture. I was not impressed. We only took a couple of sips and it left a weird after taste so we didn't end up finishing it and threw the rest out. To share we got the Kimchi poutine. It was essentially fries that were not that crispy soaked with Kimchi and some mayo on top. It was ok a little underwhelming. The 3 sandwiches we got were different so we can try them all: 1. Sriracha honey Karaage chicken sandwich. The chicken was a bit soggy maybe from the sauce. The bun was fresh. The lettuce inside was a bit wilted. 2. Pho beef banh mi sandwich. The beef was a bit dry and the banh mi was tasteless with no flavour 3. Bbq pull pork sandwich. It was sweet and flavourful but again too much sauce made the sandwich a bit soggy. Pricing is fair. But probably won't come back. For $50 I can get better food elsewhere.

I visited Just Braise Sandwiches with my brother to try something new in Oakville, and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious sandwiches. I highly recommend trying their poutine and milkshakes as well.

Tried it for the first time, very pleased! Tried the beef+kimchi on salad base, chili and karage sides, and the kimchi poutine. All were very tasty, will be back for sure - great stop for a quick unique bite!

Everything I've had here has been delicious, and I've tried lots! Faves are the karaage, pho beef, poutine, and strawberry shortcake milkshake. New must try is the SuVi Brew, which is sous vide coffee (wayyyy better than traditional cold brew). Definitely a must try if you're in Oakville, or even if you're not!

Just a nice reasonably priced asian/Canadian sandwich shop, the pulled pork sandwich was delicious and the homemade fries were great. Will be back, thank you.

This little restaurant prepares very impressive fusion foods that are much better than the originals. Prepare yourself for new tastes and flavors. Highly recommended!

Fantastic braised beef sandwich! Friendly staff and fair prices for what you get. In a plaza surrounded by fast food chains this place stands out! The Pho Beef Bahn Mi was very tasty and the Miso Minestrone was a surprisingly combination I didn’t know I needed in my life. Would highly recommend this place.

To start off with the least lackluster part of the meal was fries, they were nothing special however it is tough to make fries special. They had a variety of salt and Cajun seasonings which was really nice. I had the karaage chicken with honey and sriracha sauce… the bun was perfect not soggy at all, the chicken was perfectly crispy and you got a bite of chicken with every bite. What would have brought it to the next level was pouring a bit of that sauce on top as the chicken absorbs a lot of it. The tiramisu milkshake was also outstanding! Service was very friendly and made all the right recommendations, asking how everything was throughout the meal and after. Will definitely be back to try the poutine and some other sandwiches. Thank you very much

Sandwich was ok, a little overpriced for what it was. Friend recommended this place but apparently I ordered the ‘wrong item’, ordered the chicken marinara but was supposed to order the pork or beef sandwich.

Ordered 2 Karaage Family combos (chicken sandwich) The original and the sriracha honey. Both sandwich were great. The bread was fresh and the chicken was full of flavour. We had 2 soups the miso minestrone and the braised stew. Both were full of flavour and complimented the sandwich very well. To drink I had a tiramisu milkshake and was exactly as described, homemade and handmade shakes really are the best. Highly recommend this place. Plenty of spots to sit and easy takeout. Will be back to try more options.

It's easy to see why the pulled pork sandwich is so popular after biting into it. Fries are already good as they arrive, and are piping hot. Nice and quick service. Will definitely have to come again and try more.

Tried the chili for the first time - incredible. Probably the best I’ve ever had. Fries were also cooked and seasoned to perfection. And the two milkshakes we ordered were the perfect compliment to our food. Just Braise never disappoints!

Hung out with some friends and tried the sandwiches here and they were so delicious! We had the chicken kaarage sandwich (original with spicy mayo) pho bahn mi and the kimchi fries. Everything was spot on in terms of flavour balance! The kimchi fries were amazing, the kimchi did not over power the fries. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends. A must try if you are in the area

New favourite place! Love the karaage sandwich, the fries are the best and the kale salad with lemon vinaigrette is perfect. Have never been disappointed...food is always fresh, and service is always friendly.

Not a huge menu but you can tell the food is top quality and fresh. The staff are friendly and bring the food to your table if you dine in. The milkshakes are to die for, so fresh and not heavy feeling. The kimchi poutine is very flavourful and the fries don't get soggy fast. I had the karage sandwich with spicy mayo. It was delicious and not overwhelmingly spicy. The washroom is very accessible and very clean.

Simple restaurant with fantastic sandwiches available. They mix Asian flavours into sandwiches and the taste and quality surprised me. I personally enjoyed the kimchi fries and the tiramisu milkshake. The staff were very friendly and quick with their service. There are a number of tables to sit at to dine in and it's well maintained and clean. I'll definitely come back to try their other food options considering I only got a small taste of what their menu had.

I’m vegetarian, I always get the chicken marinara sandwich and swap out the chicken for falafel, it’s so good, my favourite place to get veggie sandwiches! The buns are to die for! And staff is always super friendly!!

I rarely write reviews but I was compelled. Perfect pairing-price and taste! I suggested the place to my friends for our reunion lunch. Fantastic options served with friendly service. One word to top it all off: genuine and gourmet.

Delicious lunch from Just Braise. Had the pulled pork and beef and kimchi sandwiches. Both were flavourful, with tender meat. Each sandwich comes with 2 sides - the fries were awesome and the kale salad with lemon dressing added a tasty healthy kick! Great value/portions for $16 too. Will be back.

Got BBq sandeich with falafel as veggie option , friend got chicken marinara . Food tasted good and bun was amazing. The side of minestrone soup was so basic and all potatoes in there . No salt . Small place and we sat and had our food . Server was nice and service was quick
