We
stayed
in
Oberhausen
for
one
night
and
looked
for
food
in
the
evening
as
a
"basis"
for
the
night.
We
actually
just
wanted
to
go
to
a
"döner"
nearby
and
then
ended
up
in
front
of
Pizza
Country,
which
we
hadn't
planned
on
doing.
The
offer
on
the
window
was
HUGE.
It
felt
like
everything
was
there.
Doner,
kebab
plates,
burgers,
pizza,
tarte
flambée
and
and
and.
Actually,
they
say
that
the
bigger
the
menu,
the
worse
the
place.
Then
we
took
a
look
at
the
reviews
and
the
photos
looked
really
appealing.
So
without
further
ado
we
decided
to
break
off
the
trip
to
the
“kebab
shop”
and
try
our
luck
here.
When
we
entered
the
store
we
were
immediately
greeted
in
a
very
friendly
manner.
We
shared
our
order
and
sat
down.
The
ambience
was
"okay".
It's
a
snack
bar
and
not
a
restaurant.
But
everything
was
really
fine.
We
had
to
wait
a
moment
and
then
the
plates
were
brought
to
us.
The
plates
were..
huge!
They
were
really
big
portions.
Plus
the
food
looked
really,
really
good.
Which
we
also
immediately
expressed
surprise.
The
immediate
comment
was
"Yes,
it
looks
good
and
tastes
even
better!"
which
was
really
kind
of
lovely.
We
had
two
different
variations
of
the
kebab
plate
and
it
was
really,
really
good.
The
salad
was
fresh,
the
meat
was
very
good
and
the
fries
were
just
perfect.
I
haven't
had
fries
this
good
in
a
long
time!
A
golden
brown
color,
crispy
but
without
a
hint
of
burnt
flavor,
fluffy
on
the
inside
and
just
the
right
thickness.
They
were
simply
fantastic!
We
were
very,
very
impressed
and
in
the
end
MORE
than
fed
up.
We
couldn't
stop
even
though
it
was
already
more
than
enough
and
we
still
didn't
quite
finish
it.
Thanked
and
praised
us
profusely.
The
owner
and
service
were
very
nice
and
super
personable.
In
fact,
this
unplanned
visit
to
Pizza
Country
is
one
of
our
highlights
during
our
visit
to
Oberhausen.
If
the
rest
of
the
menu
is
just
as
good,
then
it's
definitely
worth
checking
out.
Should
we
ever
be
in
Oberhausen
again,
we
will
definitely
find
ourselves
here
again.
Thank
you!
