There is a main central palace and two more. One can buy tickets for all or just one. It’s a beautiful palace consisting of tapestries, paintings and artistic rooms. The palace is surrounded by beautiful garden for a walk and a large fountain and mini water streams.

Decided to wander in here as it was next to to the hotel where we were staying and I felt a bit like Alice in Wonderland. If you ever have some spare time when you're in the area I would highly recommend. The palaces are beautiful and very well kept, such a quiet place if you just want to relax and have a little walk around. 10/10 recommend

Combine ticket of 10€ is recommended to visit the 3 castles. the garden is free though. it is an impressive part of the 17th bavarian era and the art work, even if it's renewed is something adorable. you pass from the old castle through a garden to the new castle and then through bigger garden and fountains and a long canal to the 3rd castle. the entrances are all centered with the fountains which start at 12pm and then turned off for one hour and then on again at 2.00 PM. Very recommended Visit.

Quiet and Nice place to walk around compare with other palace in the city. Especially during spring - summertime garden of the palace is decorated with wonderful flowers.

The Neues Schloss is a must! The Altes Schloss is not worth it. There's another palace at the eastern end of the garden that might be worth your time if you're willing to walk around 20 minutes. It has porcelain decorations as well as some frescoes in the ceiling.

Just stunning! I love to get lost in the park between the castles, in the forests and gardens, it never dissapoints. Always a different flower decoration. Beautiful at every season.

Very beautiful park with castles and lots of greenery and fresh air. It's great for walking around, jogging, or a picnic! Highly recommended for a date. There is ample parking and lots of benches to sit. There is plenty of shade so you are not directly in the sun unless you want to be. There are beautiful flowers to look at and you can go into the castles (museums) as well although not necessary. There is also a cafe.

Very nice place to walk. I guess I can call it an option to the buzz of the Nymphenburg Schloss!

Less known but deserving a visit. Easy to reach from Munich has a nice and big garden and usually is not crowded. You can enjoy a relaxed walk in the beautiful garden and really nice palace.

The castle is amazing and impressive. However the staff could be a little bit more friendly. They are very strict with the mask policy even though the restrictions were lifted. I removed my mask for a picture in a room where I was alone and a member of the staff rushed to me and said rudely that I should keep it at all time… I understand the rules but this isn’t logical at all! The room was empty and it was just for a matter of seconds.

Amazing location. Easy to reach and beautiful for a picnic or a day trip in a sunny day. The staff that works there is super helpful and polite and the place is kept in immaculate condition.

Nice park, but unluckily no cycling allowed inside. (And they are checking it quite strictly.) Now you cannot really go there with anything but a bike, which makes the situation complicated.

Definitely a nice place to spend a day off, with a lot of greenery and interesting things to see! I enjoyed a lot visiting the new palace and walking in the gardens. I didn’t find the exhibitions in the old palace that interesting and was more amazed by the ceiling paintings than by the porcelain collection displayed in the Lustheim palace. Some of the buildings are closed during Winter time, but the palaces will be open. It took me more than 3 hours to visit the three palaces.

A very beautiful palace. Even a small and cute "Schafrasse" (sheep breed?)

I went to the Schleissheim Palace on a Monday, so they were closed. But the grounds were nice. The grounds staff were rude! But otherwise, it was nice. I might or might not go back the next time I'm in Munich. Doesn't seem like a whole lot else to see.

An amazing place near the city. Not so crowded as walking in English Garde during a sunny day. The Palace can be reached with public transport from Munich city center. A bike tour is also possible with few stops in the nearby lakes. The place is worth visiting, with an amazing palace and huge gardens. Perfect for a day trip out of the routine in the city !

It's a complex of three palaces; New and Old palaces and Lustheim palace in a huge baroque garden It's located 20km drive from Munchen It used to be the summer residence of house of Wittelsbach. Lustheim palace has the second grand collection of Meissen porcelain. In the New palace the Grand hall, the Grand gallery, the staircase and the state appartments are great. There is also a Gallery of baroque painting

This place is better than Nymphenburg Palace. On a nice sunny day there was no crowd at all. It was almost empty; we got so many nice photos. It has three main parts - old, new and Lustheim Palace. It takes around 5-6 hours to explore them all. There is ample parking. We paid 1 euro for full day. I recommend this palace over Nymphenburg.

Nice place to visit..Has a park full of flowers has fountains.. very pleasant for walking on fresh air and it is never overcrowded 😉

This palace often gets overlooked because it's out of town and not as easily reachable as the more popular Nymphenburg, but it's definitely worth a visit. Get a guided tour if you can and don't forget to visit the park, particularly nice in Spring/Summer, with the waterfall, the fountains and the nice flower compositions. The Lustheim palace at the end of the park is also worth a stop.

A nice and huge place, where you easy can spend 2h +. There is information boards around in the garden, which offers information on German and English. The garden, of the old and new palace, is open and free of entry to everyone. Unfortunately, we didn't go inside.
