I had an amazing experience booking with Brooklyn’s Backyard for my boyfriend’s surprise birthday dinner. They were able to comfortably accommodate a party of 13. The staff and customers even came together for a special surprise welcome. You could feel the love shared across the room as the atmosphere was very inviting. Our server Brant W. was very attentive, kind, and patient. Not to mention the food was absolutely delicious! They even came out to help sing happy birthday. I will continue to dine at Brooklyn’s Backyard time and time again. Great hospitality! Thank you!

Small pub type place with an energetic and eclectic atmosphere. Friendly and good service and delicious burgers and pizzas, pastas, salads and chicken dishes. Interesting speciality drinks menu. Reasonably priced. Worth a visit.

We have the meat, lovers pizza, and that extra sauce which they charge $1.81 for. The restaurant was very busy and mostly clean. The atmosphere was ok. The service was average. Not bad, but not spectacular. The pizza was good, but for me definitely needed extra sauce. The chairs were very uncomfortable. They offer a cash discount however, I used a gift card and they don’t consider a gift card cash. The total came to $27.55 I think this is quite expensive for a pizza.

3 stars. We got a large pepperoni and sausage pizza, a large pepperoni pizza and 20 wings. The wings were not great at all. Seems like they order the low budget wings and charge expensive prices for them. The pizza was “good”. When I say good I mean it was average for real brick oven pizza. It’s not a NYC or “Brooklyn” pizza. The service was decent. Waiter was decent. All in all this place is average. I most likely won’t return for pizza but would maybe like to try the burger. Again very average and very expensive.

Great pizza. We ate the Classic white and the pepperoni. I loved the classic white. Flavor was superb. Ordered by phone which was easy and very polite. She said 15 to 20 minutes but it really took 30. Worth waiting at least for me. Good service 👍 👌 👏

Nice atmosphere, I enjoyed the "backyard patio" feel. Although, some of the chairs are quite uncomfortable. The food was good, but the service was a little slow. I'll try again on another night and see if it's better & re-rate.

It was slow when we got there. We decided on a pizza. It's Brooklyn style. We couldn't eat it all. The beer was cold and the refills on soda were on point. Service was a bit slow. I think they only had one server on. The cheese curds were good too. Overall, not a home run. It was okay. Service needs to step up.

This place is decent but not quality vs price appropriate. The inside is a backyard theme but leaves a lot to be desired as far as the theme goes. I could see this being a fun late night spot, but not so much for a family during the day.

This was my first experience with Brooklyns and I am beyond impressed! We had 20 wings medium garlic parm sauce. Oh my food-gasm, they were amazing! Perfectly crisp and juicy! We also ordered the gluten free pizza. It was really good! We will be back and I will tell all my friends!

Absolutely enjoyed our experience. David our server was completely understanding of my nutritional needs. He kept our glasses full without having to interrupt our conversations.Our food was delivered quickly and was completely delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food. There were so many things we want to try on the menu that we will be back. The burgers were juicy and pleasing from bite number 1 to the last bite. The chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes with the vegetables and gravy had my friend in a happy place the whole time he was eating. Not to mention, they have a gluten free bun. Terrific... Everyone should try this place.You"ll come back again.

There's few restaurants now a days that inspire an actual family, homey feel when you enter the door and thankfully Brooklyn's Backyard is one of them! Seriously, from the time you step foot inside, you're IN what feels like the best backyard hang-out spot with patio furniture, a tree trunk in the center, a backyard bar and great music. The atmosphere is downright friendly with helpful and friendly servers. We had the pleasure of having Brooke today and she was amazing. Great beer and cocktail selections, their menu is filled with familiar favorites and choices that are competitive with artisanal gastropubs! We had the key west smothered pork fries as a starter which is a LARGE portion so bring some friends! The presentation alone was mouthwatering but the explosion of sweet and savory is delicious. Lunch was the Truffle Shuffle which smelled heavenly as Brooke walked over with it from the kitchen. It honestly was so beautifully presented with the garlic aioli and truffle oil drizzle but who are we kidding it was ENTICING and we savored every single bite. The dough was perfect, chicken was juicy and not overdone, and the combination of flavors is an absolute delight. Best pizza in Ocala HANDS DOWN. We will be back.. with friends and an appetite!

First time going here with my husband this Sunday afternoon for lunch. The good reviews and healthy food options brought us here. We ordered takeout, a St. Croix well-done burger w/ fries, a Philly cheesesteak w/ fries, and cheese bites. Total with tip was about $53. The whole order took about 20 min to get ready, which was ok since we went grocery shopping at the nearby health food store. Thanks for making our first foodie trip here a good one 👍

My Mom and I had the St. Croix burger. It is enormous! It is so flavorful. You will finish it and be stuffed. My husband got the stromboli. He said it was very good. It was packed when we arrived. The wait was an hour, so we opted to sit outside.

Was visiting Ocala and we decided to stop in here after reading the reviews. Initially they stated a 20 minute wait but we ended up being seated after about 5 minutes. Our server David was great. He was very attentive and personable. Our meals came out quick and the food was insanely good🙏 Definitely going to come back whenever in the area and highly recommend this place

The ultimate comfort food Mecca of Ocala! My husband and I both had a horrible day and decided to try this place out. The food is amazing, service is great and you truly feel like you’re eating at your friend’s backyard. We ordered cheese bites, wings (dill pickle wings are awesome), the big cheese, edamame and they even have an Angry Orchard burger (pictured below 🍔). The mojito, blueberry mule and Russian are great drinks too.

The food was fantastic. I had the St. Croix burger and my wife had the Philly cheesesteak and both were phenomenal. We also got the s’mores that you cook at your table for desert which was a great experience. The atmosphere is nice and the service is very fast. They have a great selection of draft beers to was your food down as well.

The place is clean and is set up to look like a backyard area, some of the seats are flimsy and uncomfortable. I was greeted and seated in under 3 mins, my server was quick and attentive. I ordered a mixed drink (Bloody Mary), also glass of water and a Black and Blue burger cooked medium rare with a side of fries. The mixed drink was just ok...and it was top shelf vodka but very lacking in taste (brown color tomatoe juice), the Hamburger was good and the fries were just ok could use some seasoning. The problem I had was the taste and presentation of my mixed drink at a cost of $9.36 and the CYO burger was $12.75 with an additional $1.56 for Blue Cheese for a total of $25.32 and a $4.00. Tip..for a Grand Total of $29.32...for a Hamburger & fries with a mixed drink...to add to this the silverware was dirty I informed my server...if this continues you will be out of business shortly and the health inspector informed. Someone should be watching and checking the meals, drinks and silverware (like maybe the manager) and please get a mixed drink book for the bartender...also if your going to charge these excessive prices you really need great tasting food. Everyone needs to stop paying for overpriced meals that are sub standard tasting..for these prices you can get a steak and a great drink and eat at home.

Great food and great service. The inside is so cute! They have the best Philly. As well as a very good country fried chicken. I haven't found one thing I don't like here. It is a must try!

I chose this place because of its many gluten free options. Service was friendly and atmosphere was clean and brought. I ordered the blackened ahi on a gluten free bun with a side salad. It was okay, but it certainly wasn't blackened. And croutons came on my side salad...not an appropriate option for someone who posted a gluten free bun. However, I give them a 4 star because my husband said his burger was the best burger he'd ever eaten, Angry Orchard Burger, and loved the crinkle cut on the sweet potatoe fries.

Sat at the bar and had a few beers with some apps and dessert for my daughter. We loved the garlic knots, pierogis, and cheese bread. Mike the bartender was very attentive and friendly. Will be back again when in the area.

This great little place is really cool. They are Gluten Free friendly. You can order most things on GF buns and they have GF pizza too. It looks like an indoor patio. I am not a fan of the picnic table covers on some of the tables. They served Blueberry Mascato. Food was very good and service was good too. Bring cash cause they charge 4 percent to use a credit card.

Loved it! Got the edamame beans appetizer. Pulled pork fries and pepperoni Stromboli. Portions where huge. Quality was great. Exploding with flavor. Our server, Sarah, was attentive and glasses where always full. One thing I can not stand is always having to ask for a refill. Will absolutely be back soon!

Eat there! Great menu variety and you wont be disappointed! I wish they could move their location downtown though !

Absolutely a new favorite for us! Great atmosphere, it's like having a BBQ in the back yard. Friendly waitress who was happy to help and was very attentive. We ordered the Rowdy Joe's chargrilled wings. Talk about mouth watering! I've never had wings that good in my life!! This is a must stop if you're in the Silver Springs area.

This place was pretty great. The food was good but the staff and the vibe was definitely the best part. The decor is definitely different but the "backyard" theme adds to the experience. We went during lunch right after opening on a saturday. The only downside is the bathroom. It wasn't the cleanest. Was still enjoyable, though. We won't deliberately choose this place unless on that side of town as it's normally out of our way.
